The idea is to offer good-quality, 3D-textured coasters that can be fully customised around the restaurant’s theme, colours, logo, etc. Or, if the restaurant wants to keep it simple, even just the restaurant name — sometimes less is more.

I’m trying to make something that feels more premium and personalised rather than just another generic printed coaster.

I know a lot of business ideas look good on paper but don’t necessarily work in the real world, so I’d really appreciate some feedback.

If anyone here runs a restaurant, pub, café, etc., would you actually consider something like this? What would make you say yes or no?

Any honest feedback would be really helpful.

I’ve been experimenting with my 3D printer and its textured printing capabilities, and one thing I’ve been playing around with is making custom coasters.

The idea is to make them more interesting than a basic flat print different textures, shapes and designs, with the possibility of matching a particular restaurant or café aesthetic.

I also quite like the idea of keeping some designs really simple, like just a name or small logo. Sometimes less is more.

Just sharing the idea because I think the combination of 3D texture and custom designs could make some pretty nice-looking coasters.

I’m looking to build my portfolio, so I’ll edit Reels and short videos for free .

Why am I doing this? I’m young, have some free time, and want to build a solid portfolio with real client work.

i m currently using a MacBook Pro M2, and honestly I love it. The build quality, trackpad, keyboard, battery life everything just feels so polished. I've had it for almost 3 years, and I can literally count on one hand how many times I've actually shut it down.

The only reason I'm thinking of switching is because I want something I can game on while still being portable. The Zephyrus G14 (2025) seems like a great option, but I'm worried I'll miss the MacBook experience.

For anyone who's used both:

• How is the Zephyrus for everyday use like browsing, YouTube, Netflix, and general multitasking?
• Is the trackpad actually good, or will it feel like a huge downgrade coming from a MacBook?
• How's the keyboard for typing sessions?
• Are there any little things that started bothering you after switching from macOS to Windows?
• Overall, did you regret the switch or was it worth it?

Gaming is the only reason I'm considering leaving my Mac, so I just want to know what I'll be giving up in terms of the day-to-day experience.

Is it worth switching from a MacBook Pro M2 to a MacBook Air M5? I really love the thin and lightweight design of the Air, even though the Pro is already pretty slim. I recently bought a Final Cut Pro course, and so far I’ve gotten familiar with the interface. I still have a bit of the course left, but I keep feeling tempted to edit in CapCut because it’s just so much easier and faster.

The problem is, I don’t want to rely on CapCut anymore. I want to commit to Final Cut Pro because I know it’s a more professional editor, and I want to invest my time into learning it properly.

Did anyone else go through this when they first switched? Did Final Cut feel difficult or overwhelming at the beginning? How long did it take before it started feeling natural?

I’d really appreciate hearing how you guys got over that initial learning curve. I could use a bit of motivation to stick with it instead of going back to CapCut every time.

started a new YouTube channel and uploaded my first video. I used an AI voiceover and free-to-use stock footage (nothing copyrighted).

It’s been about 3 hours and the video has only gotten 2 views. I’m wondering if this is normal for a brand-new channel, or if YouTube has somehow flagged or limited my video because of the AI voice or something else

Has anyone experienced this?
