What was your reaction seeing Red's over leveled team for the first time?

I started my pokemon journey with HeartGold and I genuinely felt fear when I saw Red's Level 88 Pikachu and I was like okay how did we go from mid 50s and 60s to straight to almost the 90s.

Easily the most iconic battle in Pokemon history.
