I love this stuff

Recently switched from tide unscented powder to this because I wanted something different with a light scent. I'm not sure what kind of laundry gods blessed me this weekend but my clothes came out CLEAN.

I used this detergent, FEBU, and a bit of citric acid in the rinse cycle. Which is basically what I always do except I use the tide f&g powder.

I was honestly shocked maybe it's because I haven't used scented detergent in so long but my clothes just felt and smelled so... exceptionally clean and crisp.

Anyone else like this detergent? Just me?

I get sick constantly

Going into year 8 and I'm sick every other month or so. It's very frustrating especially because I eat well and wash my hands constantly. I've even stopped blowing noses (toddler teacher here) and leave that to my coworkers. Every time I do I get sick, even if I wash my hands after. My coworkers are eating and everything with unwashed hands in the classroom and they're fine, but every time I do that I get a cold a few days later lol

I literally need all the help and prayers for this school year. I love these kids but don't know how much longer I can take being sick every other month

It seems like none of my other coworkers get sick as easily or as often as I do 😭

I know better than to engage but I just had to 🙄

I put a $9 offer in on an $11 shirt didn't expect any response tbh. The seller declined right away and counter offered $10. Meanwhile I did some research on the shirt and realized it probably wouldn't fit me because it was men's size/cut, and there was also visible pilling, so I decided to save my money for something else. I just ignored the counter offer. An hour later she sent me "dO yOu wAnT iT?" and I responded no thanks, I thought her next response was a bit rude and defensive.

As a buyer I can research the product and change my mind. It's not the price. And if it's "$60" then why are you selling it for $10? Go price it at $40 and don't get pissy when someone doesn't accept your counter offer which is non-binding and YOU declined initially.

In the end I was right and someone purchased for her full asking price of $11 😇 so she should be quite pleased with that

A little nervous because I missed my period in July

0% chance of pregnancy I'm asexual and abstinent, haven't had sexual contacts since college and I'm 30

I had my period in June like normal on a 32 day cycle, and then July came around and all I had was brown spotting that was so light it didn't even touch my underwear, but was there. That lasted 5 days the length of my period and came around the time my period should have. I also felt irritable during that time and had some mild cramping the first day.

Now I'm on day 20 since that happened, day 59 total since my last period, and I feel zero PMS symptoms. No sore breasts, which I normally get 10-14 days before it starts, I should be feeling it around now but nope. Not sore at all. A week or so before I do get some mild twinges of cramps and nothing yet.

I'm really worried bc this never happened before, a few years ago when I had panic disorder they were longer in length like 40-45 days but I've never skipped one. This just happened out of nowhere no weight gain or weight loss, no stress, if anything I'm less stressed because I'm a teacher on summer break!

Has anyone had this happen to them out of the blue?

How embarrassing 😂

Today our mail didn't come, I'm not sure why. Despite this I had 4 packages that said "delivery today between 2 and 5" so I thought great maybe our usual mailman is on vacation and the sub is coming late.

I live on a very, very quiet little street with mostly retired neighbors but a few that work from home and we're all close together. So it's extremely easy to be nosy and see everything

I'm on my porch drinking some tea, enjoying the storm blowing through, having a nice time relishing in my last week of summer before teaching starts.

Before I can even register what's going on, this beat-up USPS truck with a completely flat tire comes loudly banging and rattling up the street going at least 40mph, the driver is whipping it like a sedan. I've never seen one of these trucks go so fast in my life and to my horror he comes to the loudest screeching halt right in front of my house.

Thankfully I duck inside but he ends up carrying one of those big USPS totes up my lawn, delivering just my Vinted packages onto the porch, and then screeching away back down the street... again, going AT LEAST 40mph with a flattie.

I just stood at the window with my mouth open like wow it wasn't that serious just for 4 Vinted packages 😭

Anyone else think the cloud sheet was too heavy/hot?

Hey guys just got my bedjet last week and I'm really enjoying it. I got to test both cold and warm features in the same week, because a few days ago I must have caught a virus and had a fever. I used the warm setting at night when I had chills and it was the best thing I ever felt. So I'm really looking forward to that in the winter, especially because I don't use heat in the bedroom. I love it cold!

Generally I fall asleep comfortably and don't use it while sleeping. I like to use it before sleeping and in the morning when I wake up before getting out of bed.

I tried the cloud sheet and found it very hot. Perhaps it's meant to be used with the bedjet on all night, but like I said I don't feel I need any warming or cooling before falling asleep I usually feel just right. But with this sheet I woke up both nights I tried it drenched in sweat despite the room being 67 degrees with AC on. I use a lightweight quilt since it's summer and the sheet was heavier than my quilt. I also found the dispersion a little uneven. Air kept hitting my knee and that was uncomfortable, but it also never reached higher than my hips. So the top half of my body was warm. I did shake and shimmy it and make sure everything was closed/it was installed correctly.

I'm putting it back in the closet for now perhaps I'll try it in winter when I don't use any heat in my room.

So for me, as a person who runs very hot, I'm part of the 30% that loves the cool breeze directly on my body and my own lightweight top sheet and quilt.

If you left ECE, what did you end up doing?

Hi guys I just got my placement for this upcoming school year and tbh I don't know if I can do it. Lol. I came out of last school year extremely burnt out and this summer hasn't even touched me, I feel very pessimistic starting again in just a week. I got placed in the room I was hoping I would not get placed in, working with someone who consistently is on their phone and taking long lunches/not paying attention in general. All of the slack the last time fell on me and it was one of my worst school years. I developed panic disorder. I felt stuck. It was awful. I did explain all of this to my supervisor so for the last 4 years I was elsewhere, but somehow now I am back. So I'll give it a shot. But I'm also sort of ready for a change...

Where did you go/what do you do if you left ECE? I like working with kids and my degree is in human services. I wouldn't mind working in an office or spending a day or two at home. But on the other hand I am SO used to my summers and holidays/time off I just don't think I can give that up.

Fever and sore labia/bikini line

On Tuesday night I began having chills and feeling off. I got up to pee and noticed my bikini line area was slightly tender to the touch. I had this happen before one year ago and it went away on its own after a few days, I attributed it to my period that was due in a week or so. Clue app I use also has a "vulva pain" option so that's just what I attributed it to. Last time I did not have a fever. Yesterday my temp was 99.1F.

Today I woke up still feeling blah, and my temp has now risen to 100.8F with mild chills. I have no other symptoms but tiredness and some soreness on my left labia majora (same side as last time) and right upper bikini line area.

Has anyone experienced this? Unsure if the two are even related. I have no discharge, spotting, smell, or unusually lumps/hardness down there.

Missed period, vulva pain, and low grade fever/feeling blah

So my last period was June 12th. July 23-27 I had minor brown spotting. It lasted just as long as my normal periods do, but I never had blood flow.

Fast forward to this week. Tuesday when I was trying to go to sleep I suddenly got chills and started feeling a little weird. I got up to pee and noticed my bikini line area was mildly sore/tender to the touch. Temp was 99.0F.

Yesterday my temp was around 99 all day and maxed at around 99.3 in the evening. I still had a sore vulva and mild headache.

Today I am feeling a little better my temp is below 99 but higher than normal for me. Just tired, and my public area is still sore. Now it's my left labia minora the feels very sore to the touch and I can feel it a bit with my underwear on too. I also have soreness and tenderness that I can feel on my right upper bikini line area, kind of spreading across my whole pubic mound.

This happened one time ironically a year ago and my period just came a few days/week later.

Has anyone experienced this? Maybe the temp isn't related as I also had some excess mucus and headache. My gyno is booked for months so just looking for some advice or feedback from others.

ebay flat rate shipping or calculated shipping?

Hi everyone I just began crosslisting to ebay last week and made three sales. I chose calculated shipping and every item so far is under that umbrella (so I'm not sure if I can change it without re-uploading everything) but I wanted some input.

I saw there is flat rate, and I was thinking, maybe that's better? Every sale was under 1lb and the labels were around $6.50. So what if I just charged $6.75 for 1lb and under for example? Is this better than using calculated? And then maybe $9 for over 1lb. Again I'm totally new to ebay and not familiar with their shipping prices.

I'd love to hear input on what you guys use for shipping and/or your opinions

should you feel a breeze with the cloud sheet?

My mom got one for her bed and she also used the cloud sheet. We feel no airflow but rather the sheet just feels cool. Is this right or should you feel a slight breeze?

we also confirmed the sheet is on the right way (this side down is correct)

if so I think we might take the sheet off as she wants a breezy feeling

Do they have a phone for the entire season?

I saw the pictures a few days ago but now I'm seeing little videos they're doing of the house! Do they have the phone for the whole season or did they just film everything the same day?

Either way it's kind of surreal seeing them on my Instagram giving house tours hahaha

Last nights episode

I wanted to share my thoughts about last night and maybe this whole week in general.

I'm so bummed Jason left (more on this below). Over the last two weeks I feel like he lit a spark in the game that has been missing. He actually made the show exciting and I felt pretty invested. I can't help but root the underdog, especially when they're doing old school big brother shenanigans. Angela was right, the tea pot was chef's kiss. And it was just for one day, like yes I'd be annoyed too, but this is exactly how the game should go. This is the kind of stuff we want to see! I feel like this season won't be the same now. We need that entertainment factor and Jason was a master at it.

However! His game was messy, at least he acknowledges it. So many times I was yelling at the TV like whyyyy would you doooo thaaaat! Unfortunately I feel like if it wasn't last night, he'd 100% be the target this week, and it would just be a loop until he's gone. It's sad but I think he burned trust with everyone fairly quickly, and didn't really connect with anyone outside of a few people. That was very evident.

The reason I'm sad, aside from being a Drag Race fan, is the fact that he was the ONLY ONE on that side with some sort of backbone ready to take the shots at the big targets! And even more infuriating is that he laid it all out during his eviction speech and everyone who needs to be worried just sat there. Play Big Brother and make a move! Keep him, play the game! Vote how you want! I'm so tired of seeing such predictable evictions. They're going to find out real quick that he was right. He had everyone's game clocked. And to be honest part of me wants to see them get picked off one by one for being so dumb.

Now hopefully in the coming weeks we see someone else step up and take some shots otherwise this season is over. Jason was 100% right, this is about to be a boring ass season.

Anyone else's closet have tons of activity for a day or two, then dead for a few?

I've noticed my closet has a pattern where I'll get like 5-6 sales in a day or two... like a completely chaotic 24-36 hours filled with likes, offers, and sales. Then maybe one or two trickling sales/offers the next day, and then it's completely dead for like three days. This seems to happen over the weekend but the pattern can shift. Right now I'm in the dead period, went 12 hours without a like yesterday which felt eerie, and so far only three today. (But I did make 2 sales on other platforms, so yay)

I have a small-ish hobby closet around 200 items and I post at least 4 new items daily.

Is it just me or anyone else? I sort of remember this happening on old Posh—I used to resell in 2022/2023 with this size closet. Before that it was just my own clothes I'd post, I began in 2016 so I don't really remember 😳

Image searching app for comps?

I saw a video the other day of someone using an app to pull up comps on clothing. I know there's google image search which I use but then I have to search for comps separately. This app seemed to tell them how much the item was worth and pull up similar listings.

Does anyone know what this app was?

(US) I've purchased WAY too many items during the free shipping event. Here's my thoughts

he free shipping event. Here's my thoughts

  1. It's a 3-way split. 1/3 of my items have arrived clean with no scent, 1/3 have arrived heavily perfumed, and 1/3 have arrived a bit dirty (think lint, pet hair) but nothing crazy.
  2. If your item is written on the polybag, be cautious! 9/10 times these items were significantly not as described. I don't know why but it felt like some kind of conspiracy.
  3. You can 100% tell the difference between genuine sellers trying to clear their closets vs people deceiving on purpose. One sweater's photo had the arms covering up two areas of pulled threads, no mention of it in description. Another seller messaged me "Hi your item arrived please hit that you received it now! <3," and of course I did not. Got home and opened the item and it had a hole on the shoulder not shown nor described in the listing. A new user or someone without secondhand experience might have listened to her and been out of luck with a return.
  4. CHECK YOUR ITEMS AND CHECK THEM AGAIN, and again! I've had a handful where I didn't realize there were flaws until I put it on or hung it up. A few of those being small holes/rips, a few stains—most did end up coming out, or would come out with a second treatment, but some did not!
  5. Overall I've had a very positive experience. I've found some gems and items I'm really excited about. I've found closet staples to replace my old ones, and more things for the season ahead. Best of all the prices were amazing like better than my local thrift and I feel like the positive (for me) has outweighed the bad (which were not even bad experiences, just disappointing).

That's all I can think of! Also sold a lot of my items on there with no issues and used the money I made to get most of my new items, although a good chunk did come out of my bank account.

I will probably continue to hunt and shop once the free shipping is over (possibly this Saturday?), because who can beat thrifting in your bed? Especially if the shipping is low!

Edit: Oh yeah forgot to add! Super quick flip on the items that didn't fit me or I wasn't thrilled with. IMO can't beat that

Cross listing to depop

I finally decided to cross list to depop because I've heard great things about other people using it. I've sold a few of my own clothes there for cheap back when it was free shipping. Over this week I've been importing my Poshmark closet and I've only had 3 likes.

I feel like everyone raves about Depop and I see other resellers I follow making steady sales there.

what's everyone's experience?

Basement must smell transferred to all of the clothes in my laundry

Washed a sweater I bought at the thrift with a couple of my own clothes. This item smelled like basement and now it has transferred to all of my clothes that were in that load :( I was just trying to save water and money since it's expensive where I live.

I really don't want to wash them again until I've worn them but obviously if the smell is too strong, I will have to.

I used tide free and gentle powder, and downy rinse and refresh.

Any tips to help get the smell out of my clothes?

Buyer can't find item and wants me to cancel (US app)

I bought a dress from someone with about 200 items. They've kept me updated saying they searched high and low in their storage and can't find it after three days now.

Now today they told me to go ahead and cancel.

I feel as though they should cancel since I'm the buyer and its their fault they can't find it?

I don't want negative feedback because it's not at all my fault and I dont necessarily want her to have it either. Is there a way to do this?

We've been friendly so far so I'm thinking of either asking her or just waiting it out.
