The word “Peak” has destroyed online media discourse
Not everything is peak and thinking something isn’t peak doesn’t make you a hater
We are so polarised it makes discussions about movies and tv shows impossible
It’s either got a ton of issues but still “peak”
Or it does the bare minimum and it’s “peak”
Or it’s “peak” and fans that say otherwise aren’t “real fans”
Nothing can just be fine or good anymore, the reason writers and studios don’t even try anymore is because they know hordes of toxic fans will defend them from any ounce of valid criticism no matter what.
Fans of movies and shows should demand better instead of fighting over scraps otherwise the quality will continue to get worse and worse
