I just want to know if this is normal or even allowed? My property manager who I could not even get a hold of. Ignores contact most of the time. Takes days or weeks to respond. When I went to the office to renew the lease for year 2 he tried charging me not only the next month rent but another months worth of rent. So it was double what I was expecting. He did not put it in writing and was not explaining what the second charge was. He just kept saying escrow.

When I moved in a year ago I paid first month, last month and security deposit which he still has. So it seems like he was demanding a second security deposit? I really don't know what was going on.

It was really sketchy behavior. He actually may have tried to charge me rent twice for September. I called them to correct it but it's still on my website account.

The manager of my place has a bunch of really bad reviews on Google.

I'm currently using a P8P at my apartment in the city, using the hotspot. I'm only getting 1-2 bar signal strength most of the time. This really limits my hotspot speed with my computer and laptop. I am willing to get a newer Pixel phone if they have better signal strength.

I sometimes work from home and also play videogames in the evening and talk to my buddies on the chat. I watch my TV sometimes too. That can get a little loud sometimes.

I was wondering if there is anything I can use (without major construction) to contain that kind of noise in my room so it doesn't go upstairs?

I see there's acoustic foam (polyurethanme)/acoustic panels (felt/polyester fiber) on Amazon like TroyStudio Acoustics.

Horizontal lines just appeared on my widescreen OLED monitor. New X36 model. Across the entire screen. Not moving or anything just static lines. Somewhat hard to see. Idk if it's the monitor or GPU or Windows problem. How to test? Is this a known problem with the OLED monitors?

Reset the monitor settings and it's still there.

I've used the website contact form in the past but now I can't find it. Is it gone?

Is the Steam integration broken? When I started GOG Galaxy it said I needed to login to Steam again. It prompted me to do it. Tried logging in and it's not working no matter what I do.

I'm moving soon and have a basically brand new HAVA T02 portable washing machine I'd like to get rid of. I only used it one time. Apartment washer was broken so I bought it thinking I would need it for a while but ended up not needing it. $160

Hey guys I have a question. Can strokes actually cause a form of dementia? My relative had a bad stroke and the damage was significant but there was a decent amount of recovery after it. However, over time they seem to actually be getting cognitively worse. Like there is something that is progressing. They're not old or in poor health except for the stroke that happened. I'm wondering if the stroke actually caused some form of progressing dementia? My information is limited because the family has been very guarded about the whole thing.

Does anyone know of a bed gap filler/mattress extender that is five inches in length? Trying to add five inches of length to my Full size mattress so it is as long as a Queen size mattress. Going to put it at the head of the bed between the mattress and wall. It will sit on the bed frame.

On Amazon there's a ton of foam gap fillers but none of them seem to be five inches. They all go from four to six inches for some reason.

My mattress is between 11 and 12 inches deep. Between 53 and 54 wide.

It does seem to be possible to have custom ones made but they are at least $100 if not $200 to do that.

It would be nice if Secretlab sold a high quality floor mat for carpets. In the past I have used the GORILLA GRIP 36x48 PET plastic floor mat. It's pretty good, it's thick and and doesn't arrive rolled up like most do. However, I feel it's slightly too small for how much rolling around I do my big desk so the chair goes off of it and gets stuck on the carpet.

How are tenants supposed to deal with automatic annual rent increases in leases? I have rented from small private landlords before and my rent never increased with them. When I moved to a different place (corporate owned) the lease was almost 30 pages long (crazy imo) and inside it was an automatic annual rent increase of minimum 3 percent but no maximum listed. I never saw the lease until I was in the office for the signing because the landlord never provided it. That was probably intentional.

If I had known this in advance I never would have moved. I know for a fact that the prices in my building have gone up hundreds of dollars over the last couple years from talking to the other tenants. Automatic rent increases means that after a few years I probably won't be able to afford the place and will have to move. Really upsetting. Moving is a lot of work even when you're experienced doing it.

Around the city the rent is just insane. Even for a single small room/studio the rent is high. There's basically no cheap places to rent except for house/room sharing setups which suck for many reasons.

Is there going to be an official bed extender accessory? Like the Ford Maverick has for example.
