im trying to expand my music palette and get into edm, but are there any artists that are more pop adjacent? i want to listen to songs that are like 2010s edm vibes and have like a bunch of lyrics instead of just like 2 words and then just 6 minutes of straight beats

i keep hearing everyone saying Subtronics is amazing top 1 and allat but tbh its not for me

if it helps i like songs like stay, clarity, the middle, party rock anthem etc
i like some avicii and alan walker but at the same time their beats arent strong enough

looking to get into dj as a hobby so everything i do would just be for home use, also can i be good at it if i currently have zero music experience?

For music I'd like to be an Artist Manager/MV Director etc
and as for film I'd like to be a Director or 1st Directing Assistant/SFX Makeup Artist so and so and whatnot

What are some good schools that have both an excellent film & music program? or does it not matter as long as I 'work hard'? Also I'm not sure if I would A-levels so if the school had a good foundation program it would be a bonus (Looking to study in Europe/US)

im buying my first ever guitar soon and i've decided to go with the tele but im not sure which pickup to get, i can only find S / H comparisons on youtube but not any between the H/HH, i know its just an extra pickup and probably doesnt make much of a difference but which would be better if im just starting out?

This sub probably gets questions like this all the time but I'm totally stumped. I was already planning on buying an electric guitar a few months ago and i remember doing research on the types of electric guitars (forgot everything about it now though) and had decided on a Squier Sonic HSS Strat

but clearly i did not do enough research because earlier i had the bright idea of seeing what my favorite artists use to play instead and I have noticed a pattern. Most of my artists use a double humbucker guitar (half of them being telecasters). So now i feel obligated to also buy a double humbucker telecaster, HOWEVER.. some of them also use the sss strat to play other songs, so i feel like i would have to buy something thats like in the middle ground like a mix of both

i live in Malaysia and i was looking at the Fender telecasters online but all i see are mostly almost all S/SS, though i have seen a few H/HH/SH (was thinking of getting an SH one but its like twice my budget..) Other brands im thinking of are schecter, les paul but theyre all just so expensive!!

These are some of the artists I listen to: Melanie Martinez, MGK, blackbear, Twenty-one pilots, Panic at the Disco, Sleeping with Sirens, Pierce the Veil, Nessa Barrett, Forrest Nolan, Olivia Rodrigo etc

Genres: pop / alt pop / indie pop / pop punk / emo alt rock / etc

now i need helping finding a new electric guitar and i have a few questions:

1) should a beginner like me be going straight into using a double humbucker for my first guitar or should i go with a different pickup?

2) what specific type of Fender Telecasters would you recommend? [open to other brands]
(please dont say all of them are good and it doesnt matter just please suggest something, i will research all the suggestions myself later on before finalizing my decision)

3) why did you pick the one you picked and how does it stand out / differ from the other types (explain in really really simple but also specific terms pls)

4) which one is going to best fit within my budget of 275usd MAX (the cheaper the better)

all of this is just for home use for fun nothing serious and as for amps i have decided on either the Fender Mustang LT25 or the Vox VT20x

also please dont tell me to go with whatever one my heart feels or tell me to go into a store and pick up and feel whichever one is best because my heart is extremely indecisive and this is a very expensive hobby and even if i test out the different types of guitars im not going to know which one is better or feels right because theyre all going to feel the exact same to me (only thing i can do is judge by their prices and appearance lol)

im currently in highschool but im only graduating next year so i cant say my education is year 11 because im not even there yet, but i have free time and need some extra cash so im looking to do some online work (i cant drive yet) but like most job applications, a resume needs work experience which i have none so half the page would be empty

im hoping to work in film/music when im older (currently in highschool) and im just wondering if i can work in the music industry if i have zero musical experience like i cant sing/dance/play an instrument

i know theres stuff like makeup artist, choreographer, agent/label(? not too sure in that department) but i like the idea of being able to possibly work with my favorite artists or musicians in general as well ykwim

i have a short torso and ik genetics play a big big role in this (my grandma also has a short torso) but i feel like i could probably make my spine straighter and make me taller

im tryna correct my posture rn which adds like 1cm but theres barely any difference

i recorded myself doing bar hangs and my torso instantly became longer by like an inch and a half ish bcs of like gravity n stuff

been trying to be more active but bcs of school and classes im on my ass for like 19hrs a day so (bcs of this (and some doomscrolling...) i also only sleep like 5 hours a day :(, also trying to sleep earlier but not going well its 11:50pm rn)

**anyways TLDR;**

im insanely jealous of people my age because i know a bunch of people from my school alone in my grade they all are like extremely athletic, musically talented and stuff like that like they win championships and competitions like first place in everything

like i know a few people in my school who already have music degrees despite being in hs or like they do ice skating or ballet and also get first and second place and like i even know a couple people who are/were models as well and some classmates who are learning dance professionally and won plenty of singing competitions

its like i have accomplished absolutely nothing in my life
(i have a feeling someone is going to tell me not to compare myself to others but i just want to be a better version of myself bcs i have painfully average, possibly even below average in like every aspect)

i know all these people obviously learned these skills from a very young age bla bla bla but i still believe i can learn something if i start now (im graduating next year tho so probably something i can learn within a year)

TLDR:
i need like a backflip-equivalent of a hobby/skill/talent ykwim like really cool and not many people can do it, ion want those overrated bs like drawing or smand hopefully something that could be used to like earn some cash in the future ykyk
