After a year of being on the fence about spending $100 on a silk bonnet (that’s basically final price after taxes), I bit the bullet. The minute after I dropped $100, I start getting served influence adds for the same bonnet, $35 cheaper. I bought the $35 cheaper one thinking I’d return the full price one. I wrote to the company to ask for a return label. No dice. I have to pay to return it myself.

I think that’s shady and it makes me question the business and their ethics in general. But, regardless of you agree, don’t overpay for these bonnets. Find an influencer add and make sure you buy it for less.

I hate these classes with such a deep passion but I am a 48 year old woman in perimenopause so I need to do them to preserve my fast twitch muscles fibers so I don’t fall when I’m older. 😫

Because you have to do an all out, everything you have sprint for 30 seconds or so, it feels horrible. I suffer the most in the 15 seconds after I’m finished.

Any tips on how to make them more tolerable so I don’t dread/avoid doing them?

I sent the item in a very well sealed package. It sounds like USPS mail theft. But I am sure Vinted will refund her and I’ll be out another item. Any advice on how to fight back? Her recourse should be through the post office, not me.

1. Has ZERO added sugars (real or artificial) or flavors.

2. Is made from whey isolate. If it has a small amount of stabilizer in it, that's ok, but nothing else.

3. Dissolves in hot beverages so that you cannot tell it is there.

Protein Prodigy from Glucose Goddess fits this bill but it's extremely expensive. Seems to come out to $99 for a 1 month supply of only 20 grams of protein/day.

If you're using something you like that fits these parameters, please let me know. Thanks!

I was really hoping that tirz would help with this. If it works for alcohol, why not sugar? But it really hasn’t. My sugar cravings are as crazy as ever. Would love to hear what has worked for you if anything!

USPS claims that the label was either canceled or refunded. The item I sold is now gone. Anyway, I just sold a Canada Goose kids jacket for $45 on Vinted but when I printed out the label, I got worried. What if this is also a bad label? What happens if this item mysteriously goes missing and I get screwed again?

Has anyone had a similar experience? I’m thinking of suing Vinted in small claims court in my state. It’s not a lot of money but it’s the principle of a company making money off of me and refusing to take care of legitimate issues that arise.

I started using compounded tirz from Pom in early December 2025. I wanted to lose 15 lbs and I did, slowly, by mid April 2026. I also had SIBO and was on a low FODMAP diet for about 6 weeks. Once that went away, I resumed my normal diet.

When I was losing, I was taking 4.5 mg. I then switched to Trimi and went down to 2.5 mg to maintain but got very hungry. Went up to 3.0. I recently noticed that I’ve gained back about half of what I lost!! 😩 I gave myself 5 mg at my last injection.

When I get back down to my goal, is there a way to suppress my appetite enough so I am not gaining but also not losing? How do I figure out what the right dose is for me to do that? I’m new to this so thank you for your patience and help.

This episode is an interview with a New Yorker writer who published an essay about how our beauty standards are evolving to be not human and AI generated. Very interesting and kind of terrifying. I am also susceptible to the pressure to look younger and prettier but this really made me think. Especially about the future for my daughters.

I have a friend who I have known for 35 years. We met at sleepaway camp when we were 13. We have lived together and been very close at times, called each other best friends. Our families have been vacationing together once a year for the past 11 yrs. We used to live in the same state tho 6 hours away from each other and we saw each other a few times a year. 4 years ago, I moved across the country. Now we mostly just see each other on that once a year vacation. My kids consider her kids cousins.

Over the past few years, she’s become a neglectful friend. She rarely reaches out to talk over text or phone. I used to text her frequently but after getting low effort responses and emoji reactions only to my messages, I’ve stopped more or less. I went through a very, very difficult time last year and she was hardly there for me at all.

I’ve tried talking to her about this and how much it hurts my feelings. She always tells me that it’s not about me and she’s not upset with me she’s just really busy (yet when she was in a deep depression for a few years, it was the same. I was always there for her but she rarely wanted to connect because she was depressed). She also made some closer friends where she lives in the past few years. I feel like I’m not needed anymore. And she knows how lonely I have been since moving to my new city but she still doesn’t seem to want to be more involved in my life.

Despite trying to talk to her about this and how it makes me feel several times over the past few years, nothing ever changes. I’m tired of bringing it up and I suspect she is tired of hearing about it!

Recently, her family was travelling through Europe. They had dinner with my daughter who was on a study abroad trip. My friend didn’t write after to say anything about seeing my daughter. Not a word to say, looks like she’s doing great or whatever. I found this odd and hurtful but more of the same pattern.

The last time she and I texted was July 17. She never responded to my last message. Last night she texted me “I can’t believe I left you on Read. 😳 What’s up?! Let’s catch up please. Also \_\_\_\_ is on tour and I wish we could go see her together 😩”

I know I have to respond but I am so tired of how she treats me and the emotional labor involved with this friendship. It’s hard to pretend I don’t care but she doesn’t seem to have any intention of changing. Our families are going away together again in a few months so it’s not like I can just cut her off. And I don’t really want to do that anyway. I just want her to be a better friend.

I know that I need to just accept who she is right now and stop expecting things to change, but it’s really hard to do that and it involves me pretending that I’m not hurt and that I don’t care which is also very difficult and exhausting.

How do I respond to this text? Truth be told, I was so happy when she wrote and I do want to catch up but I also feel hurt and neglected. And kind of angry. Both are true at the same time.

Is it just me or are Siegfried and Mrs. Pumphrey just incredibly unlikeable this season? She’s gone full loon and he’s become a real a-hole. I’ve always loved this show and hoping I’m not going to have to give up on it. It used to have real emotional depth and some gravitas but this season just feels… shallow? Is it going the way of Call the Midwives in just turning into fluff with no substance or genuine characters?

Just want to let you know. The minute I got notified of the charge, I asked for a refund. My kid didn’t understand what she was doing.

First they said, oh, we can’t issue you a refund because you disputed the charged with PayPal (before I even knew it was my child and not fraud) and the case is still open. When PayPal nearly immediately denied the dispute, and I sent them the email saying that from PayPal, they said, PayPal hasn’t notified us so we can refund you. So I got on the phone with PayPal to close the case and notify Canva.

Then, they said, oh, the case is closed but we can’t refund you because you filed a chargeback. Even though we have been paid, we can’t refund you if you file a chargeback.

I said, so you’re retaliating against me for disputing the charge. They said, oh, no, that’s not it! It’s just that we can’t do it because, you know, we won’t do it! See?

What stupid unethical jerks. And their product sucks.
