Where is gate M13 at Munich?
I can’t find a single M gate. Is this a remote stand with a staircase?

What could this possibly have been? If anyone knows

Damaged package which was supposedly empty and discarded is now out for delivery?
So is it not actually damaged and empty? Or are they going to deliver an empty broken box? I already contacted the store this is going back to, but they haven’t responded yet as it was the weekend

I have questions about travel insurance for my upcoming vacation to Banff & Jasper in Alberta, Canada
I have a family vacation coming up in the fall. We just booked our flight tickets, rental car, and hotels. If I were to buy travel insurance how would that work? And what should I be buying?
Some details:
- fly from EWR to YYC
- pick up the rental car
- 1st night in Calgary
- drive to Banff and Jasper
- nights 2, 3, and 4 in Jasper
- drive back to Calgary. 5th night in Calgary again
- fly back to NJ
On Insure My Trip it asks for the trip cost. This might be a stupid question, but am I supposed to put the grand total of everything here? Or just the flight? I am asking because atm nothing is paid for except the flight. The hotels can be cancelled up until a few days of check in and the rental car can be cancelled at any time so long as we haven’t picked it up
My fear is the EWR-YYC flight gets cancelled and we either arrive in Calgary a day or two later, or we can’t go at all. If either of those things happen my hotel costs are lost. I’m certain insurance can cover it, but what should I make sure my insurance policy includes to ascertain coverage? Guys, the Jasper hotel is the most expensive hotel we’ve ever, ever booked😭(like on a per night basis) and I don’t want to test their generosity to not make us pay if it comes to it
Thanks for the assistance in advance!
Visa exchange rate calculator not working?
I bought plane tickets yesterday in CAD with my Bank of America travel rewards Visa credit card. I am aware the bank’s applied conversion rate may not be what is shown on Google or Siri
I was charged $7 more than what Google showed I should’ve paid. So I went to the Visa exchange rate calculator website, but it keeps saying “⚠️There was an issue with your request.” Is this happening to anyone else?
Can I use a AC gift card purchased from Costco.ca in the US?
I already asked this on r/costcocanada, but I’m double checking with y’all on this sub too before I pull the trigger
I discovered Canadian Costco has a spectacular deal on air canada gift cards. I’m planning a trip on AC so I hatched a plan. Buy 1 e-gift card worth $1000 at the discounted price from Costco Canada. Then use it (in conjunction with my credit card) to book my flight
The only thing I need to confirm is that I can use a Canadian issued AC gift card from the US. I don’t mind having to pay in CAD for the flight, my credit card doesn’t have foreign transaction fees anyway. So, can I do this?
Update: it seems to have worked, I was able to buy my tickets with the gift card. Just keep in mind you have to use the Canadian AC website. You’ll be charged in CAD, so use your no foreign transaction fees credit card just like you would in Canada. I saved US$129 this way, not a bad deal at all
Does anyone know if I can use the discounted Air Canada gift cards from Costco Canada in the US?
I live in the US and have a Costco membership. I believe I can buy the e-gift card on Costco.ca, but will I be able to use it for an Air Canada booking that will start and end in the US?
(I don’t mind if I need to pay in CAD to make this work)
Update: it worked. Just remember to use the Canadian AC website and bear in mind you’ll be charged on CAD
Simplicity Plan is a hard pass for intl roaming
MX/CA is 2GB per billing period instead of 2GB per day
Other countries you have to use the $12/day travel pass instead of having roaming talk and text and 15GB of roaming data included
Hard pass, Verizon. Also the fact that you can’t switch back to the old plan if you switch to Simplicity is nuts
Sneaker sale isn’t authentication guarantee? Shipping address is to the buyer’s apartment…
I listed a sneaker for sale. It was supposed to be done with the eBay authentication. I received an offer from someone located in the UK. I didn’t care about the international buyer as I know eBay will handle it
Buyer pays so I go to get the shipping label. In order details I see his apartment address in California. Huh?? I was anticipating the authentication warehouse. What gives?
My theory is authentication only applies to US buyers so there’s no authentication. And the California address is the actual recipient, in other words this is a gift for a person in California being purchased by a person in the UK
Ice forming on inside of freezer drawer
We have a LG French door fridge. On the inside of the bottom freezer compartment there is some ice forming (it’s circled in the first picture and I’ve zoomed into it on the second). Is this something we’re just going to have to deal with? Or is there a way to stop this/is something broken?
We bought this fridge in April, it’s still basically a brand new unit.
Trip guide asked for a tip for himself and the bus driver in the UK
This happened last fall. Been sitting on this story for a while since discovering this subreddit, now it’s time to tell
I took a day trip tour bus from London to the Stonehenge and back. Right before we were dropped back off in London the trip guide mentioned he and the bus driver appreciate tips left. I was kind of appalled. First of all, this is Europe/UK. No one tips here afaik. Second, y’all are just doing your jobs…why do I need to leave you a tip? Also I didn’t even have £ cash on me so what would it help, they’d have to get it converted
The older American couple sitting across the aisle from me, the husband immediately asked his wife for a $20. In my mind I was like “these mfing clowns getting scammed.” Do you agree?
At any rate, I got off the bus, thanked the driver and guide, and headed off
