Is it me or are the roads really bad in Hungary?

Had to drive from Slovakia to Budapest airport. As soon as I cross that bridge, the roads became horrible. Almost Africa horrible. Hell, some countries in Africa has better roads.

I thought, okay, maybe it's just the villages that have bad roads. Budapest will be better. Budapest was even worse.

What happened to all the free eu money that was supposed to be earmarked for transportation?

Carlsbad California - meet Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) Czechia

(not Ai written) Karlovy Vary is a UNESCO heritage sight located in western Bohemia, Czechia (Czech Republic). It's named after Charles IV,, and is a sister city to Carlsbad.

It's UNESCO because it is a spa city. With over 14 recognized springs around the city (meaning you can put a cup there to drink the water) as well as countless spas where you can swim in the mineral water etc etc

It's also known for its international film festival. And two beautiful, massive, and uniquely built colonade.

As you can see from the photos, and feel free to Google it, KV's architecture is beautiful. If you've been to Prague, which can be considered a fairy tale city, then Karlovy Vary is a fairy tale town. It's so beautiful, so walkable, very family friendly.

At just 2h by bus from Prague you can visit as a day trip, but honestly it's best to spend 2-3 days here to slow down, unwind, and enjoy western Bohemia and all the spas it has.

I'm happy to answer any questions. Your local friendly Californian traveler. And Czech lover.

Should my buds 3 pro be picking up so much background noise when in a call?

I bought this because I've read reviews of people saying the mic noise isolation is great. Someone even commented a year ago that the sound came through clearly even when standing next to a plane.

But when I'm using it, like to leave a voice note, my voice is literally drowned out by background noise while I'm on a bus or jn a gym

I have an s23fe. Is there a setting I'm missing?

Mexican places that offer mass taco deals?

Where I live there's a local hole in the wall that offers 20 tacos for $25.

Anything like that around? Throwing a little party and don't wanna break the bank.

Figure I'd offer this plus some panda express catering since that's the cheapest for mass food I've seen so far.

Taking any other suggestions.

Has anyone gone through the IVF Process with Kaiser?

We have our HSG blood test for my wife next Monday, and the nurse practioner who called initially to discuss the whole process has been nearly impossible to get a hold of to ask some questions, and she's not replying through KP messages.

For those who have gone through this process with Kaiser, what happens after the HSG blood test is done?

My understanding is that, the NP would take a look at the HSG blood test, and all the other tests that both my wife and I have been requested to do, and schedule a call with us to go over the results, and only after that she would introduce us to a fertility clinic that takes KP insurance. This clinic isn't run by Kaiser.

In terms of time line, since the HSG test is on the 30th, and we're planning to go on Vacation for 2 weeks starting Aug 7th, would the next step be to arrange a time with the clinic to start taking the shots that holds back the eggs to be all released at once?

And how long does this usually take? Just trying to see if there are any other time-intensive acts that needs to be done on certain date in relation to the period, or we can do this shot after our vacation.

Cheers

Living in the US but all my viewers are from poland

Mind you, the phone I'm using has never been to France or Poland. Yet 90% of my viewers on 2 separate accounts are either from France or Poland.

When I go to create a new account, the phone # defaults to a Polish country code auomatically.

Anyone know what's wrong and how I can fix this?

Wife and I will file jointly for the first time. Can we still both contribute to an IRA account and then backdoor it to Roth?

We make too much for Roth. I already did my backdoor back on January 2nd. Want to see if she can contribute 7500 to her IRA and we can backdoor that as well, and then fill out the two forms next year when we do our taxes.

Google tells me yes but just want to confirm
