Bought it on sale for Amazon, and I got to save $15 more with my credit card’s cash rewards. Remake had pretty good performance so hopefully it's sequel does as well. And for the actual quality of the game, I hope it’s just as good if not better than the previous entry.

Genbu and Tantal feel like a slog to get through, and the plot hasn't been really interesting this chapter. Please tell me it gets better towards the end.
Mario games are not known for their plots or compelling characters. You are meant to turn your brain off and have fun while playing them. People should apply the same logic for the movies instead of wanting them to become un-Mario-like just to satisfy their own preferences.
As for why I’m using a fire-type against a water-type it was my last Pokémon standing. My other party members besides Arcanine were Lapras, Vileplume, Nidoking, Alakazam, and Dodrio. Only Arcanine and Nidoking survived the Elite Four, leaving me with two Pokémon for the final battle.
That was a close call, although I actually lost my Gyarados to a Self-Destruct crit during my failed Cinnabar Mansion encounter.
Maybe it’s the eyes?
The last time they were in a mainline game was LGPE and any caught in Gen 7 or GO can’t be transferred to that game, which means they have no way of leaving HOME since they were dexited for the entirety of Gen 8 and 9. Why are they the only Pokémon with this distinction and do you think they will come back in WiWa or Gen 10 in general?
