Honest question, why did Godzilla and Gamera never collabed in a movie?

I hoped into Godzilla Battle Line last month to saciate my hunger for Godzilla games (and because Zilla was added and he is my favorite Kaiju) and was surprised to see a bunch of Gamera units in the game. So, if Toho added multiple Gamera and other kaiju from the both the Showa and Heisei era in a Godzilla game, then they KNOW that it is lucrative and that fans would enjoy it.

Hell, there is even a double unit where Godzilla 2000 and Gamera are together. So.... why did Toho never made a movie about it? Godzilla fans and Gamera fans usually overlap and Kaiju fans in general would flow cinemas to watch it. So why did they never did it if they know that their fans would love it?

What do you guys think of Anime Trilogy Gigan?

This is my absolute favorite version of Gigan, even though he only appeared in the prequel books, for a bunch of reasons

I believe it is the first time ever that Gigan was represented in his fully organic form, as a monster hibernating in the sea that was later on used by the United Earth via mind control tech to fight Godzilla Earth.

When Gigan first fought Godzilla, without any cybernetic enhancing, their battle lasted for 5 days straight. It was the first kaiju in that universe that made Godzilla Earth sweat, since all the monsters that Goda fought until now where easily dispatched or incinerated with his atomic breath. Earth's BS shield was very innefective against Gigan's purely physical attacks.

With each battle that Gigan fought and lost, his design made transitions into his movie counterparts. First he looked like his Showa era version and then later on looked like his Final Wars version.

And last but not least, his experimental nanometal form is BADASS. The descriptions in the book of Godzilla blasting Gigan's body away with his atomic breath only for Gigan to regenerate and keep on attacking were awesome. A shame that Godzilla just then blasted Gigan with all his energy and left nothing of him left behind. Poor Gigan got the Kid Buu treatment.

Low cortisol Kiryu Girl (made by Gobrus)

Gobrus keep giving us more and more reason to like Kiryu. Also I love how her "tears" get more red cause she is getting ashamed.

Alright fellas, which Gigan do you prefer: chubby and silly or slim and edgy?

And no, you can't pick both.

What do you guys think about Wikizilla?

As a site, I think it what every other wiki should strive to be. Never before have I seen a wiki so rich in content and organization, I used to spend hours of my teenage years reading through a ton of kaiju profiles.

And when I found out they had an Youtube channel, I was very pleased to see that they are also very cool on Youtube too. Their kaiju profiles are really awesome and they bring in a lot of Godzilla trivia in neat edited videos. And whenever they livestream together, it gives me a cozy sense of nostalgia because it reminds me of the crazy nights that me and my friends used to have, all in a group eating snacks and playing videogames in the couch, since all the staff of the wiki seems to be really chill and enjoy having fun together.

What about you guys?

What are your opinions about the Godzilla NES Creepypasta

I think it is a pretty neat piece of Godzilla horror media. Sure, it does not have the shock value and the same kind of horror like other Godzilla horror media like The Man in the Suit, but it is cool!

Honestly I like everything about the story that does not revolve around the horror stuff. Like the presence of other kaiju that should not be in the game like Titanosaurus, Biollante, Mecha King Ghidorah, the sprite work is simply amazing.

Isn't she Lovely? (ToraGoji x TADC) (OC)

I saw a Vegeta video using this music and thought abou making this video.

Consider this a small tribute to my favorite kaiju: ToraGoji or Zilla, if you want to call it that way (please do not bring uo technicalities about naming in the comments). She is, indees, lovely and her only mistake was being a single mom in America lol.

Why isn't Kong called King Kong in none of the movies that involves TOHO? Is it a license thing?

Like the movies from the Showa era and the Monsterverse movies, Kong is never referred to as King Kong, even though that is his original name. So why is that?

Do Kaiju need to eat and drink water?

And when I say eat I mean like, literally ingest organic material like flesh or plants. Godzilla does not count because most of his encarnations make him get the energy he needs off of radiation or other forms of raw energy, but what about the other kaiju, like the Monsterverse ones or even the OG ones from Toho? The only ones I remember that where eating or were trying to eat something where:

Kamacuras trying to eat Minilla.

Rodan eating a dolphin in Destroy all Monsters.

ToraGoji eating a lot of fish.

Destoroyah larva eating fish off an aquarium.

Monsterverse Kong eating an giant octopus.

So, do you think that the other Kaiju need to actually eat or drink in order to survive?

Explain to me, why did everyone hated the 1998 movie so much but loved the animated series about it?

It has the same Godzilla design (plus an atomic breath) and the same human characters, but everyone absolutely loves the animated series. Why is that?

Is Godzilla Rulers of Earth the peak of Godzilla comics?

I see Godzilla Rulers of Earth as like, the Final Wars of Godzilla comics. It has a LOT of action and a ton of different kaiju and even an original kaiju at the very end, alien invasion, Shobijin shenannigans and everything else.

Godzilla has a ton of comics but I don't think any other is better or at least as action packed as Rulers of Earth.

But what do you all think?

Which one of these made the best use of their time realated abilities, Dio or Diavolo?

Notice that I am not asking which one of them are stronger, I am asking that in terms os strategy and tactical use of stopping/skipping time, which one of them made the best use of their abilities in order to win battles.

I gotta go with black cat since she is my childhood crush man, ever since I saw her in Spectacular Spider Man, she awoke something in me.

What about you all?

u/HealthMother3125 — 18 days ago

To be honest, this is how most of us would act if we woke up with a stand one day

Yes, while most of us have imagined ourselves making punch barrages, stopping time or doing whatever your favorite stand does, it would most likely not be like that.

It would be like Doppio here: poor guy is fighting for his life while his boss won't stopping yapping in his ear and can barely figure out how to make King Crimson's arms manifest, and even less how to use its and Epitaph's abilities. So this crash out is totally justified and would apply to most of us I think.

Like, manifesting a stand is probably not as easy as it looks, the protagonists probably had to dedicate days of their lifes on training how to manifest them and figure out what the hell they do.
