Por que é que os sotaques dos Açores são tão difíceis de perceber?

Não sou falante nativo de português

Quando ouço um português de Portugal continental consigo perceber grande parte do que é dito.

Mas quando se trata de um açoriano tudo fica muito mais difícil.

As vogais são ainda mais reduzidas ou até completamente apagadas e curiosamente às vezes o sotaque deles faz-me lembrar o francês 🤔

Do you feel Spanish is some kind of Portuguese dialect? (Despite knowing it's a different language)

Many Hispanics say when they hear Portuguese they think it sounds like some kind of drunk or broken Spanish, meaning as if it were a broken dialect of Spanish

I wonder if Brazilians have the same impression when they hear Spanish

What do you think about the fact in the United States most of the time mixed people are considered black just because they have some African ancestry?

For example in that picture you have Stephen Curry who is clearly mixed, however in the US most people consider him just black even if he's mixed.

I know in Brazil he would be considered pardo and the same thing would happen in other Latin American countries such as Venezuela, Colombia etc.

I am trying to improve my looks and one of the things I'm wondering is whether most women like men who are fit.

I am not talking about being built like a bodybuilder, I know many women don't like men who are too muscular.

I am asking if most women like men who are just fit, meaning they have a healthy lean/fit body with some muscle mass.

O que vocês acham do fato de a Igreja Católica Romana ensinar oficialmente que católicos e muçulmanos adoram o mesmo Deus, apesar de os muçulmanos rejeitarem a divindade de Jesus e a Trindade?

Nesses documentos, a Igreja Católica Romana afirma que:

  1. Muçulmanos e católicos adoram o mesmo Deus. (apesar de os muçulmanos rejeitarem a divindade de Jesus e a Trindade)
  2. Os muçulmanos se submetem a Jeová da mesma forma que Abraão se submeteu. (apesar de os muçulmanos se submeterem ao deus do Alcorão e não ao Deus da Bíblia)
  3. Os muçulmanos são os primeiros não-cristãos incluídos no plano de salvação. (apesar de não crerem em Jesus nem seguirem os ensinamentos de Jesus)
  4. A Igreja olha com grande estima para os muçulmanos mesmo que historicamente eles tenham invadido e assassinado muitos povos católicos e cristãos, e que ainda hoje, cristãos estejam sendo perseguidos e mortos por muçulmanos em países como Nigéria, Síria, Líbano e outros.
