How foaming is the qv ceramides cleanser?

How foaming is the qv ceramides cleanser?

Hi there everyone, I’m wanting to hear from people who used this product before. I’m just wondering how foaming this QV ceramide cleanser is. I know that on the website it says it’s lightly foaming merchandise but I’m wanting to know if it it’s closer to a cream cleanser then a foaming cleanser. I tried to look up reviews and videos on TikTok of people using the product but unfortunately there’s really not that many videos of people actually using this cleanser so I’m having a hard time figuring out how foaming it actually is. I’m asking because my partner doesn’t like cream cleanses, and I’m wanting to buy this cleanser but I’m hoping that it is a good foaming cleanser.

Is there any way to help with the symptoms of my carpal tunnel so I can still live everyday life LOL.

Hi there everyone, I have carpal tunnel in both of my hands/wrists. I find that the pain is more so in my wrist than in my hands but I did go get scans and stuff done and I do have carpal tunnel in both of my hands. They say that apparently it’s meant to be more painful in your hands, but I find that the pain in my wrist is a lot worse. I struggled with it for about two years before I went and got scanned done. I would wake up in the middle of the night with excruciating pain and my wrist in hand would have pins and needles and would just go completely numb. I would have to try and sleep with my arm off the side of the bed so that the blood could flow down to that area. She sleeping was a bit of a nightmare. Since then I’ve gotten braces for both of my wrists and I wear them to bed every single night and they do help, but sometimes when I’ve overused my wrist the pain isn’t helped by wearing braces. I don’t know if anyone else experiences this but when I do something for a long period of time like painting or doing something where I’m needing to lift heavy weights like yesterday my partner and I were moving a bunch of rocks on our property after that my wrist and hand on my left side were in so much pain. I couldn’t do anything yesterday with my left hand. I couldn’t pick anything up. It was throbbing throughout the night and I was in so much pain. I needed to take painkillers in order to sleep. These are just things that I don’t hear people talking about when they say they have carpal tunnel. I’ve looked online and looked at all these videos on what carpal tunnel is and I just never see anyone talking about what I go through with the carpal tunnel. I wondering if anyone else experiences stuff like this and my real question is is there anything I can do to help with the side effects that come with carpal tunnel. I want to be able to help my partner by doing jobs with him like moving heavy rocks or doing some painting every once in awhile but it makes me feel like I can’t do those things without my carpal tunnel totally destroying my hand and rests and then for the next week I can’t do anything. Is there anything I can be doing to stop that from happening or is this just how it is now. Has anyone found that they’ve been able to soothe the pain in anyway apart from just taking painkillers. When I did go to the doctors and got my scans for the carpal tunnel they did say that the only two solutions were either a steroid needle or to get surgery on them and at the time none of those options really sounded good to me. I’m not quite sure how I feel about getting steroids injected into me and that’s not a permanent fix to them either but from what I’ve heard the surgery doesn’t always work. Anyway, any helpful advice or tips would be appreciated.

Oil splatter from cooking all over wooden floor boards

Hi everyone! I’m not really sure where to post this, but I’m hoping someone might have some advice.
My partner and I bought a 1980s home around eight months ago, and our kitchen has wooden floorboards and no exhaust/rangehood. One issue I’m struggling with is oil splatter when cooking things like steak or bacon in a frying pan. The oil ends up all over the floor around the stove, gets walked through the kitchen, and then I have to mop the floor two or three times just to remove the greasy residue. I’m also worried that constantly mopping like this isn’t great for the timber floors.
I already use a splatter guard, which definitely helps, but it doesn’t completely solve the problem. I still need to remove it to turn or check the food, and that’s usually when more oil escapes.
I’ve considered putting a washable rug or mat in front of the stove when cooking particularly messy foods, then washing it as needed. However, I’m not sure whether constantly getting cooking oil on a rug would eventually make it gross or difficult to properly clean.
Has anyone with timber floors dealt with something similar? Is there a better way to protect the floor from cooking oil? It’s becoming frustrating enough that I’ve started avoiding the frying pan altogether — I even cook bacon in the oven now!
Any suggestions would be really appreciated. 😊

Buying tretinoin online

Hi there everyone, i’m new to Reddit so hopefully this gets approved by the moderators.

I live in Australia and in Australia you need a prescription to get tread. I’ve seen heaps of posts on an Australian skincare reddit page with people asking where to get tread online. I’ve always been super sceptical about buying things online or from overseas because I don’t know whether or not the website is a scam or not or if the product is going to be legitimate. I see a lot of people recommending the all day chemist website. Just wondering how you were meant to identify whether a website is legit and whether the products you are getting also legitimate and not fakes of products? This photo here is a screenshot of the prices of one of the tretinoin creams on the all day chemist website. How is it possible that converted to Australian dollars? It’s around $8 for one tube yet buying it in Australia it’s anywhere from 70 to over $100. This is just what makes me feel like this is some sort of scam.

Skin care Product for everything

Hi there everyone, I am quite stressed out at the moment trying to figure out my skincare routine. I posted a couple days ago about me using azclear 20% medicated lotion for the past two years now and while it may of prevented a lot of breakouts I don’t really find that it’s done that much for my skin. My skin just looks the same as always and I guess a little bit dull. My concerns are
- acne prone skin
- closed comedones
- rough texture on my chin
-dull skin

That being said I really am not the kind of girl to have 1 million different products. I really would prefer to keep my skincare routine as simple as possible so I have one cleanser, I use the tbh milky toner and then I apply the azclear followed by my moisturiser. I’ve done this routine every single night for the past two years now and it’s worked well for me but I do feel that my skin kinda just looks the same but with less breakouts I guess. A lot of people recommend the finacea gel to me. I’m wondering if that would be a good switch or if I should try going towards a retinol instead. I’m basically wanting a product that can help with everything. The azclear has helped with closed Comedones but I still do get some cog paws especially on my chin and my nose. ChatGPT has recommended me to use a salicylic acid treatment as well but just wanted to hear what other people had to say. Ideally, I would just like to use one treatment and for it to solve all of my concerns lol so I’m wondering is a retinol like the CeraVe Blemish Control Resurfacing Retinol Serum 30ml or the The Ordinary Retinal 0.2% Emulsion 15mL might be some good options instead? Would love to hear any suggestions or tips.

Curtain above or below the cornice?

Hi there everyone, I’m wanting to put in a floor to ceiling curtains behind my bed to create a feature wall. I got ChatGPT to create a mockup of my bedroom so I could see what it might look like however it hasn’t really taken into account that I do have corners and I’m wondering whether it would look weird if I installed the curtains just below the corner corner. So there would be a gap where the cornice is. Would that look weird? I’ve seen people do it with white curtains and you can’t really tell because it just blends in but I’m wanting to get these turquoise curtains from IKEA and I’m just worried that it would look weird if there’s a gap up the top.

How to get rid of field mice and ants

Hi there everyone, my partner and I have just recently renovated the old shed that is on our property and turned it into our reptile shed. We have completely insulated the shed apart from the doors and have put plywood for the wall walls instead of using plasterboard. We have a 20 reptile enclosures in the shed at the moment and we have been facing what it feels like is a never-ending battle with field mice and ants. We have put mice traps all over the shed and we have tried to block off any possible entry to the shed but they are still finding a way in somehow. I have no idea how they are getting inside. I walked into the shed this morning and saw two of them running around. The ants has also been a major issue for us. We have no idea how to stop the ants from getting into the shed. We have tried every ant poison out there. We’ve totally surrounded the shed with this ant powder stuff and tried spraying as well yet they keep returning. They like to get into the snake enclosures and into the coconut core bedding. It’s almost like an investigation. They’re literally in every single enclosure and in the water bowls of all of our reptiles. It’s gotten to the point where I’ve had to do weekly clean out of all of the bedding that normally would last months and months I’m now having to change it out weekly because of the ants. Does anyone have any ideas on what I could do to fix these issues. My partner and I are literally at our wits end and have no idea what to do. Any helpful advice would really be appreciated.

Has Azelaic acid worked for you?

Hi there everyone, for the past two years I’ve been using the same as azelaic acid product. But to be honest I just haven’t really seen the result that other people have shown after using as a lake acid for a long period of time. People claim that their skin is almost as good as when people use tread however I just haven’t really had that experience. My skin hasn’t really done anything since using it. I haven’t really seen any changes in the areas whereas like acid is meant to be really helpful. Has anyone else experienced this when using a product. Maybe it’s just not meant for me. I don’t get a massive amount of breakouts on my face and to be honest I’m not that worried about it because everyone gets breakouts and everyone gets acne. I’m not the kind of person to go out there and buy the newest and latest product just to clear up one little spot on my face. I did a lot of research into Azelaic acid before purchasing the product and using it for a long period of time as I thought it was the best product for me but I’m no expert. I like to keep my skincare routine very very simple and I don’t like 1 million products. I use a calming facial serum first, then Azelaic acid and then I moisturise. I’ve been doing this routine for the past two years now and yes it’s seemed to work really well for me. My skin is nowhere near as bad as what? It was three years ago but my skin doesn’t look like the glass skin that I see online with everyone using this product.

Mineral sunscreen causing breakouts.

Hi there everyone, just wanted to see if anyone else experiences acne breakouts from using mineral sunscreens. I thought mineral sunscreen was meant to be better for people who have acne prone skin so I have tried a couple but every mineral sunscreen I try I end up getting breakouts from using them. I don’t know maybe it’s a coincidence but just wanted to hear and see if anyone else has experienced this or not. My skin has been relatively good for the past two years but I noticed that when I try a mineral sunscreen I do end up breaking out after using it. This doesn’t happen when I apply a chemical sunscreen. Anyone else experience this?

Carob drink

Hi there everyone, I am two months in into giving up caffeine entirely. I have posted about how shitty I’ve been feeling in here before. And some days I really just crave having a nice beverage in the morning so I’ve been having coconut water most mornings, but I’ve only just recently came across carob powder. I’m wondering if anyone has tried making a drink with carob powder? Every time I try to do it it just tastes grainy and sandy compared to raw cacao powder but I don’t wanna have that because it does have caffeine in it. Any tips or advice from anyone who makes drinks with carob powder please let me know.

Help me find an accent colour

Hi everyone, this is a mock up of my living room. I already have the couch, blue cushions, white bedspread and coffee table. The stair railing I painted with dulux reef resort which matches really well with the blue cushions. I’m wondering what accent colour I can use to really make this pop. I though maybe a terracotta/copper coloured cushion but it looks way to mid century modern which isn’t really what I’m going for. Yes I have chosen pieces that are mid century modern but I don’t think you can define your style based off of a couple pieces you own.

So what other colours would work well in this space? I was thinking maybe a soft light blue, a burgundy, maybe a plum colour or maybe a butter yellow. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Bedroom design colour help

Hi there everyone, I am wanting to style my bedroom but I’m really struggling on how to decide what colour palette I want to go with. I’m finding it really difficult because of the wooden floor boards that we have throughout the house which is a very deep red cherry coloured wood. Our bedside tables are similar and match in well with the floorboards but I’ve gone with a lighter coloured wood finish for our TV unit which is in our bedroom just to break up the different wood tones. We have a window above our bed but unfortunately our bed can’t really centre in the window because my bedside table is a lot bigger than my partners. I am wanting to get ceiling to floor curtains to go across the wall behind our bed to hide the fact that our bed is not scented to the window and just sort of act as a pop of colour in the room. I think that’s would be cool behind the bed. From there I’m not sure what to do with the colours of the curtains, quilt cover and bed spread. I originally loved burgundy but ChatGPT says that the room will be too warm and moody which isn’t really what I want. I want there to be contrast and for the room to feel bright but also grounded. I also want my partner to love it so I try and work with colours we both like, greens, blues, Burgundy and maybe some terracotta. Can anyone suggest any colour palettes that may work really well with the cherry red floors?

Constant fatigue after giving up caffeine.

Hi everyone,
I’m a 25-year-old female, and I’m now two months into giving up caffeine and coffee. I gradually reduced my caffeine intake until I stopped completely. I decided to quit because I wanted to be able to function like a normal person without relying on caffeine every day. There are plenty of people who get through the day without it, so I wanted to see if I could do the same.
The thing is, I’ve been drinking a cup of coffee every day since I was 14 years old. Maybe I don’t actually know what life feels like without caffeine because it’s been part of my routine for so long.
The problem is that I’m really struggling. I’m tired all the time, irritable, and get cranky because I’m so exhausted. I’m still functioning, but nowhere near as well as I did when I was drinking coffee. I also have very little motivation, and it takes me a long time to get myself moving or complete even simple tasks.
I recently had some blood tests done to check for any deficiencies. Everything came back normal except for my iron, which has always been low, and I already take iron supplements. One thing that did come back abnormal was my C-reactive protein (CRP), which was 10.6 mg/L. From what I’ve read, CRP is a marker of inflammation, and a mildly elevated result can happen if your body is dealing with inflammation or an infection. The confusing part is that I haven’t been sick recently, so I’m not sure why it’s elevated or whether it could be contributing to how I’m feeling. I saw these results through My Health Record here in Australia, but I still need to follow up with my doctor to discuss them properly.
I’m just wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this after giving up coffee. Is this actually how people who don’t drink caffeine normally feel, and I’ve just never realised because I’ve had coffee every day since I was a teenager? Or does this sound like something else could be going on?
I already eat what I’d consider to be a healthy diet. I cook all of our meals at home, rarely eat takeaway, and generally try to eat well. My mum suggested that maybe eating fewer carbs might help, although I don’t eat a huge amount of carbohydrates to begin with—apart from the occasional pasta meal.
I’m honestly feeling a bit stressed because I’m struggling with the constant fatigue. If anyone has experienced something similar or has any advice, I’d really appreciate hearing from you.
Thank you!

Hair oils recommendations

Hi there everyone, I’ve been struggling to find a good hair oil that my hair actually likes. I have medium to find hair and I do find that hair oil does weigh my hair down so I can only put the tiniest bit in. I’m looking for a hybrid oil that has natural oils as well as silicone in it. I’m hoping to find a hair oil that just makes my hair feel so silky but not way down. It’s such a mission trying to find the right hair care for you. Hair care brands don’t sell samples like skincare and make-up so you’ve just gotta continue buying a whole bottle of product and giving it away to friends when it doesn’t work for you. Obviously, I know that different products are gonna work differently for everyone but hoping to get some recommendations

Fragrance free hair leave in products recommendations

Hi there everyone, I’ve been searching for ages for fragrance free leaving products and so far these are the only two products that I’ve found that people have suggested in other reddit posts. Are these really the only two highly recommended live conditioners? It makes me so sad that there is such a limited range of products for people who want fragrance free product products. I’m looking for a leave in conditioner, preferably one with a heat protectant in it. A fragrance free hair mousse and a fragrance free hair oil that has silicone in it. I find that hybrid hair oils (hair oils that have natural oil and silicones work best in my hair) however I haven’t been able to find any mousse or hair oils. It’s been really quick disappointing. I know SEEN has a hair oil but looking at the ingredients and the price, I’d be better just buying The Ordinary 100% Plant-Derived Squalane but again I’m looking for a hybrid oil. I’m thinking that it just doesn’t exist sadly. Can anyone help?

EDIT: I’m in Australia so I can’t get some products from the us
