I've been thinking about buying one of these. Anyone know anything about them? It has a proprietary automatic movement.

I assume this one is a replica because I bought it for $350 worth of credit card rewards. It did, however, come with a receipt for 63,000 Hong Kong dollars (USD$8000).

After 9 days it's running -2.33 seconds per day. Not as good as the Murph, but still damn good. I'll check it again next Friday. We'll see what it is after 16 days.

I recently rewatched the entire series and felt that we don't know much about Uncle Benjen. He's a true hero but there isn't much background about him. Can someone who read the books fill in the blanks for me? Hopefully there's more information there.

I'm talking about Game of Thrones.

Twenty-five yrs ago, when walking from the subway to my apt in the E. Village of NYC, I stopped at a place with NY style pizza, the very best pizza, that was outstanding. I also bought a Caesar salad. I could watch it being made fresh as I stood at the counter where I ordered it. It was wonderful.

This is a photo of a raccoon living in a hole in the wall that surrounds most of Central Park in NYC (Manhattan). Something else from the TV show The Americas.

I recently came across a series called The Americas. Each episode concentrates on a particular location, and the photography is absolutely amazing!

This series, on Peacock, takes you across what it calls "The Supercontinent of the Americas." You'll see some incredible scenes of mountains, forests, rivers, wildlife, and more.

I'm not certain, but I believe you can watch some of the episodes on NBC.

The first episode shows you how the photographers were able to shoot so many incredible scenes in very hard to reach places. You'll see, among other things, close-ups of hummingbirds, that are no bigger than a thumb, flapping their wings at 80 times a second. If it's available to you, you must see it to believe it.

I watched They Will Kill You (2026) last night. I thought it was great. Not what I expected from the beginning. Lots of blood, but I love Zazie Beetz.

Recently I answered a question asking for a movie with a great soundtrack. I should have said Atomic Blonde (2017). I'm watching it now.

I'm thinking of buying this Hamilton watch with a titanium case. Any thoughts? I own two other Hamilton watches that are my most accurate mechanical watches I own. Much better than my COSC watches.

Last night I watched Gladiator (2000) and Gladiator II (2024). Today I'm going to watch Gladiator Extended Edition. I'll see if the Theatrical version is better, as Ridley Scott says it is.

I just watched My Son (2021). James McAvoy wasn't given a script, so he had to improvise his role. He's a great actor (e.g., Split (2016)), and in this he was good; the movie was not. I didn't feel an emotional tie to any character, something that's essential for most movies. What's your opinion?

I just finished Beautiful Creatures (2013), and just started A Good Year (2006). I own these in digital HD and can watch them repeatedly, enjoying them as if I'd never seen them before. What do you think about them, and do you have similar favorites?
