I always loved the cosmic episodes of TNG. Think of episodes where the Enterprise-D did something outside of dealing with people, aliens, conflict, and standard TNG drama of the later seasons.

Season 1: The first episode gave us Q and the Jellyfish aliens. "Where No One Has Gone Before," "Lonely Among Us," "Hide and Q," "Datalore" (Crystalline entity), "Home Soil" (ugly bags of mostly water), "Skin of Evil" (tar monster), and the bug aliens from "Conspiracy." I absolutely loved it when TNG did wild episodes like this.

What is your favorite wacked out cosmic episode from the series? There are no rules, anything goes, it just can't be a traditional drama episode where guest stars were pastel pajamas and look angry. lol

I feel like the show moved away from cosmic episodes after S2, but "Genesis" in S7 is an absolute favorite. Mutated Worf was werewolf-level terrifying.

I watched: Moon Girl (short), Coraline, and ParaNorman.
I still plan to go back and finish watching the extras on my ParaNorman DVD.
Next up: The Boxtrolls, Kubo and the Two Strings, and Missing Link.
Then this October: Wildwood!

I've never gone Urban Exploring myself, but I've watched a lot of it on YouTube. Sometimes, a lot of artwork or media gets left behind to just rot, which is sad. I have a genuine question. Why not salving things like artwork, paintings, books, DVD/Blu-ray/4K, records, music CD's, video games, game systems, and stuff like that? If the home or building is truly abandoned, is there any wrongdoing in salvaging this stuff?

I'm not advocating the commission of crimes, just asking a genuine question. Thanks!!!

I feel like the Enterprise-D exploded a lot on TNG for shock value episodes. LOL Does anyone want to tally it up? We can count "Cause and Effect" as one given the Groundhog Day premise. LOL

RoboCop (1987) leads into RoboCop 2 and into RoboCop 3. I feel like the 1994 series was trying to be a sequel to the trilogy, but with a number of things chained around because copyright, and because transition from movies to TV series.

Nancy Allen's death is ignored, and now she's Lisa Madigan.
Sargeant Reed is now Sargeant Parks.
The Old Man is now the OCP Chairman.
Nikko is reimagined as Gadget.
I can keep going, but y'all get the idea.

From the TV show POV, do you think the "general events" of the 3 films are still canon?

I think Prime Directives was intended to be a direct sequel to the original film, ignoring the 2 sequels and the 90's series. Then the new film from 2014 was a straight reboot.

I think it'd be fair to think of RoboCop continuity like this:
Storyline A = trilogy + 90's series
Storyline B = 1987 film + Prime Directives (4-part miniseries)
Storyline C = 2014 reboot film

I love Yellow Jackets, such adorable insects, but suddenly, I'm getting attacked were I park my car. It's happened on at least 3 different occasions where I get swarmed and attacked on my left or right leg. The last time it happened, I sat in my car, surrounded by Yellow Jackets bouncing off the windows and windshield trying to get to me. WTF did I do to offend these buggers?

I'm not asking for "medical advice," but if anyone knows what's setting these buggers off randomly and with the rage of a xenomorph, please spill the beans!

Most of the Predator films have been Earth-bound.
Predator home world = AVP-R (cameo), Killer of Killers (ending), and Badlands (bookended the film)
The game planet = Predators.
Genna, the death planet = Badlands
Were there other alien worlds that I missed?

NOTE: I'm asking about the films, but you're welcome to nerd out on other media.

First, we had the original 4 Alien films, Ripley vs. the xenos.
Then we had the 2 Alien vs. Predator films.
Third, the 2 Ridley Scott prequels.
Fourth: Alien Romulus, the in-between sequel.
Now we have Alien Earth, an ALIEN series.

Which of these do you want to see continued?
Personally, I would LOVE to see Alien 5, focusing on Ripley 8 after the events of Resurrection. It can be Ripley post-xeno or have fight the xenos once more. I'm game either way. The question is, would Sigourney be down for one more film in her old age, do we recast, or do we pass the baton to a new character?

I'm down for a 3rd AVP either as a sequel to the two films we have or as a reboot. I'm game either way.

Am I the only one holding out for a sequel to Alien Covenant? That cliffhanger was a banger!!!

Alien Romulus was fun, but it felt like a one off. Is anyone expecting or hoping for a sequel?

Finally, there's Alien Earth. S2 is locked in, yes?

Do you think Jerome and Jeremiah Valeska could have been redeemed? I can't remember Jerome's relationship with Bruce. Jeremiah was obsessed with Bruce in a brotherly sense, is that right? I've only watched Gotham once through and it's currently not streaming. From what I remember, early on into the Jeremiah arc, if Bruce reached out and said, screw it, let's leave Gotham, just you and me. You want to be brothers? Drop the criminal act. Let's leave. You and me. Let's go. Would Jeremiah have taken that up? Could he have chosen Bruce over crime? Gotham could have spared Bruce for a season if it meant Jeremiah never became the Joker. What do you guys think? Am I onto something? I would love to get this show on disc. haha

I don't know when I found ER first run on NBC. Dr. Mark Greene was my favorite character, so when I caught the show randomly, he was why I watched. I remember tuning out in S8 after he left the show. Wikipedia and Hulu show the show had a 15-season run. WHOA! So far, I've watched the TV movie pilot (24 Hours) and 1-2 "Day One." I dunno if I'll watch the whole 15-season run, but I'm at least committed to Season 1. I know the characters, but not the episodes and story/character arcs, so this is going to be fun.

This will be my 2nd hospital show where I'm watching start to finish following House. haha

How do I get my dog to stop peeing the couch? Long story short:
#1 She's ruined the built-in cushion. I'm not mad, because the couch needs replacing.
#2 I try just lying down bath towels I don't care about and wash as needed.
#3 She will pee on the bath towels.
#4 I tried something different, tried sitting on a trash bag.
#5 I literally caught her walk up on the trash bag, squat, pee. WTF?
#6 WHAT AM I DOING WRONG? I pamper my dog. Why does she torture me with this???!?!?!?

P.S. I'm about ready to grandma plastic the couch despite having seen better days.

I am trying to make a 2nd Google account so I can make a YouTube account. My original from 2009 won't let me. I think because I made it at a community college? Anyway, not the point. Is there anyway to bypass giving Google my phone # such as an email or something? Why does Google need my email?

SPOILERS FOR THE SERIES FINALE - "ENDGAME"

Does it make sense for Voyager to become a museum ship? In "Endgame." it took Voyager 23 years to get home. By the time of her homecoming, she'd be 23 years out of date. Turning her into a museum ship would make sense. With Admiral Janeway changing the past, now Voyager came home just 7 years after being lost to the DQ. While the ship may not be up to Starfleet specs, the ship went through plenty of alien, Borg, futuristic, and "we made it up as we went" upgrades.

In the streaming era of Star Trek: Picard, Lower Decks, and Prodigy all verified Voyager's immediate retirement upon their homecoming from the edge of the DQ (they were about to enter the BQ). I feel like in the current timeline where Voyager only took 7 years to come home, becoming a museum ship was more about PR than outdated (7 years vs. 23).

Did you like seeing Voyager as a museum ship in Picard 3-6 The Bounty and Lower Decks 4-1 Twovix. What about the Voyager-A in Prodigy S2?

Roswell ran 1999-2002, 3 seasons, 61 episodes. The closing 4 episodes served to wrap up the show. It was rushed, but fun and great pacing. Now it's been 24 years since the show ended. I think the ship sailed a long time ago for a traditional movie or miniseries revival. Would anyone be up for a "next generation" sequel? Assuming most of the main characters had kids, they'd all be 24 and under. Why not? Would anyone watch it if it were a mix of original cast and new characters? Would you want to see a film or a miniseries?

You live in Gotham city. You've done wandered either into the wrong part of town or onto a crime going down. You're in X supervillain's territory. Who is he and why would he be the least likely to off you? I feel like for me, it would be Penguin and Victor. Penguin seemed to have a soft spot for people genuinely nice to him, because that was so rare. Victor didn't seem to care on way or the other. If Penguin said don't kill him, Victor's like, OK, whatever. LOL

The other villains: why didn't Penguin kill you? ME: I was just nice him. (closes eyes, thinking this is it) I wonder if I'd just be "that nice guy" that Gotham City's worst is just like, leave "that guy" alone, he walked my grandma across the street. LOL

Wha'cha guys think? Would NICENESS be my shield to survive Gotham City in this show? LOL

Is it me, or is there a lot of post-T2 hate based on the sequels not being what fans expected? I went into T3, TSCC, T4-6, Zero with zero expectations. I saw the trailers, got excited, and was game for another film or series. I can understand being hard on one or more sequels if you thought it was badly made. I don't get hating on the sequels because, "I wanted something else." They are what they are. (shrug)

The first time I can remember seeing William Sadler in anything was as Section 31 Agent Sloan in a few episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, specifically in the final two seasons. The next role I caught him in was as the town Sheriff on Roswell (1999), he was main cast for all 3 seasons. Since the show ended, I always get excited when I see him in something, new or old.

2013: Iron Man 3 (President of the USA)
2020: Bill & Ted Face the Music (returns as Death, LOL)
2024: Salem's Lot (I think he had a small part, but still fun to see Sadler!)
