39-year-old Jamal Crawford becomes the oldest NBA player to score 50+ points in a single game, scoring 51 points at the age of 39 and 20 days, and it has to be broken.

The previous record was held by Michael Jordan, who scored 51 points at the age of 38 years and 315 days - Wizards vs. Hornets - 12/29/2001

AND HE DID IT OFF THE BENCH

He finished the night with:

51 Points on 18/30 FG (60.0%), 7/13 from 3 (53.8%), 8/9 FT (88.9%), 5 Rebounds, 5 Assists (4 TOV), 1 Steal, 1 Block, 4 PF, and a +/- of -5 in 38:08 minutes played.

He almost led an incredible comeback at the end.

He scored 26 out of the Suns' 40 points in the 4th quarter, scoring 26 Points on 9/12 FG (75.0%), 4/7 from 3 (57.1%), 4/5 FT, alongside 2 rebounds, 2 assists (2 TOV), and 2 PF - he played the entire quarter.

He nearly ruined Dirk's final home game in the Suns' final game of the season, the 2018-19 season (the Mavericks had one more game).

Crawford went on to play one more game for the Brooklyn Nets in the next season, the bubble season, before retiring a day after his 40th birthday.

Crawford announced his retirement a day after his 42nd birthday, on March 21st, 2022.

He is so good; he hit 4 in a row at point while trying to miss.

The Suns fail to bring the final ball to Devin Booker, but the veteran, 19th season in the league at this point, hits the game-winner.

Khris Middleton caused a mini-drama, as with 0.8 seconds remaining on the clock, he hits the corner 3 - a potential game-winner buzzer-beater, but the small pump fake he did prior to the shot caused him to release it a bit too late, and therefore the Suns win.

Mind you, Kevin Durant signed with the Golden State Warriors to start the 2016-17 season, and it was reported that the relationship between the two, who were teammates, went downhill, as KD signed with the team that defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 4-3 in the Western Conference Finals series a season ago.

The Warriors lost the NBA Finals 4-3 to the Cleveland Cavaliers (after being up 3-1, the same way OKC were up against the Warriors in the WCF, before losing the series).

Reports of tensions between the two were also reported in the last two seasons of KD with the Thunder, before his departure.

East vs. West - 2017 NBA All-Star Game - 2/19/2017

One of the funniest sequences you'll ever see in an All-Star Game: 4 straight missed dunks.

He was huge in the clutch moments of the 4th quarter, leading to a comeback.

9 clutch points, including a game-tying 3-point shot, and an assist in the final 2:10 minutes of the game.

In the 4th quarter, he had a chance to tie the game after he got on a 3-point attempt, but he missed the first free throw, then missed the second.

He tried to miss the 3rd free throw, but unfortunately the shot went in, sealing the win for the Pistons.

Both the Pistons and the Cavaliers secured a playoffs spot, it was the final game of the season.

The Cavs were the 1st seed, the Pistons were the 8th seed. Both teams let their main players rest.

The Cavaliers let LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, J.R. Smith, and Iman Shumpert rest. Midway through the game, they let Tristan Thompson rest, who was wearing his Kobe shoes.

The Pistons let Andre Drummond, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Tobias Harris, Marcus Morris Sr., and Reggie Jackson rest.

The Cavaliers went on to sweep the Pistons in the 1st round, and their season ended with a ring, which McRae saw only a total of 4 minutes in 2 games, going 4/4 from the field, 3/3 from 3 - a total of 9 points.

But a ring is a ring.

McRae was the 58th overall pick of the 2014 NBA draft (drafted by the Spurs), and his last season in the NBA was the 2019-20 season, playing for the Wizards, Nuggets, and Pistons - a total of 37 games that season.

Since then, he has been playing across the globe, in China, France, Israel (Hapoel Tel-Aviv and, recently, Hapoel Holon), Greece, Egypt, Italy, and even in Rwanda.

He also played in Australia after being drafted.

He is currently 35 years old, playing in Karditsas, Greece.

Detroit Pistons vs. Cleveland Cavaliers - 4/13/2016

It was the final game of the 2015-16 regular season, in which Joel played only 19 games.

It was a fun game to watch.

The Miami Heat did not reach the playoffs this season.

Detroit Pistons vs. Oklahoma City Thunder - 12/7/2014

It was a must-win game for the Spurs in order to remain in a playoffs position, in the second-to-last game of the season.

The Spurs went on to lose the final game of the season 122-98 to the New Orleans Pelicans on the road, managing to secure the 7th seed.

The Spurs went on to meet the 2nd seed and eventual champions - the Golden State Warriors, losing the series 4-1 in the First Round.
