Why did i gain it back?

I was cutting down on carbs, did a couple 24 hrs, one ish meal a day the rest of the time, walking a lot or biking 10+ km

Lost 10 lbs. Ate a burger and fries a few cookies, ice cream nothing serious and still a reduction from my previous. A few sedatary days Gained 7 of the 10lbs back fast. Wtf!

I am still in calorie deficit, still moving, still eating less food than i was previously

Is fasting mandatory now? I was just doing 24s i dont get it

Are you an adrenaline junkie? Or do you at least like it? Just curious

I was never one of those dudes backflipping off cliffs into the water, doing reckless stupid shit, which is why I never thought I was an adrenaline junkie. But I take a lot of joy in adrenaline things it turns out.

Apparently this is an adhd thing, curious about you? Yes I am diagnosed haha. Even biking fast through the city is a noticeable mental boost for me. When I jumped out of a plane I felt.... extreme joy? And I am not a scientist but i am not sure that is the feeling you are supposed to have in that situation?

I have an unproven idea that my headspace would be vastly improved if I made regular time for hobbies with a small chance of death

What about you?

Why am i good at hard things and terrible at wasy things

*Easy things

I just taught myself how to take apart my toilet on youtube, diagnosed the problem bought the correct parts, used 3 different specialized wrenches, took the whole thing apart reassembled bam done in less than an hour. Saved myself 300$ on a plumber, easy, didnt even break a sweat

But i cannot clean my house, find a job shave or brush my teeth daily, something that 99% of the world can manage

Why? this is making me feel so disabled.

So I am no stranger to "the adhd tax" aka costing myself more money/ time because of accidental carelessness

I was in a rush took my bike on the subway. I get to an isolated exit and there are only these tall narrow turnstiles. I said "f this I can do it" and took my bike into the turnstile. Managed to get stuck couldnt go forward or backward. Full panic mode stuck in this tiny space, with my bike, realized I might actually have to call the cops to come cut me out 😉 Only then do i see a sign that says "no bicycles in the turnstile"

Ended up taking off my lock, smashing the shit out of my bike rack to get free. All i had to do was go find another exit! Lol

And you?
