i painted a sad horse.
i don’t feel better but now there’s a sad horse. maybe he’s sadder than me. i don’t know how he feels. i wonder if he knows how i’m sad like him.
i found a plush at a garage sale when i was like. a toddler. like 4-6 and i remember it was like a horse or an alpaca/lama. may or may have not had a horn? it was pastel rainbow, it had some sort of texture to it that i remember as thick soft crochet. i genuinely have had my parents tell me that i had dreamed it. but i have thought of this thing every day since the day it disappeared. it’s like a major part of my life that i question. i don’t know why. id say its like 12 inches tall.
i was scheduled for two morning shifts and 4 style shifts as a GM closing expert 😭 ik schedules are just weird sometimes but HUH??? i’m not trained in style or anything lmao

a pearl left behind during the war, survived from being bubbled. ended up being found in a field in what is now Texas (near the border) she’s helped the community around her for thousands of years and become a bit of a tex-mex folk legend in the area. she blends well with humans. her gem was originally on her navel but after a few reforms, it still sits there though disguises itself as a belt (inspired by Mexican rancher belt buckles being large/extravagant!) she can summon a wrangling rope!

the community she is close with in texas is aware that she is a gem, though doesn’t really grasp the concept. they are just aware that she is immortal* and there to serve the community! she was actually elected as mayor for a few years but she didn’t want permanent power role over the area so she stepped down! now’s she’s just a member of the city’s agricultural council!
am I as a 16 year old, in Texas entitled to a thirty minute break at work if i work a 5.5 hour shift? i have taken my 15 minute break. but i have TLs tell me i do not need a 30 minute lunch. and TLs tell me i DO need a thirty minute lunch. it often ends up in me going back and forth and someone is always mad. i’m so confused and nobody agrees.
i’m in GM but every SINGLE time i pick up a shift in checklanes i ALWAYS get a bunch of tiny cuts on my MIDDLE FINGER. just my middle finger. and i have NO clue where it’s coming from. does anyone have any clue?
cattywampus is a representation of the parts of me that i hate, my messy hair, my uneven eyes, my teeth and nose, my hands and the horns represent where my head is hurting at the moment. though it’s mostly just two horns. he’s a boar and has trouble controlling himself around food. i’ve grown to love this character, and in turn, love these parts of myself.
