Garro, just on the precipice of finding out the betrayal of the Warmaster. His battle brother Saul Tarvitz seemingly gone mad by stealing a Thunderhawk and gunning it to the planet below. Garro knows something is deeply wrong and disobeys direct order from Eidolon to shoot the ship down. The build up to this moment gives me goosebumps every time! Such a brilliant book!

Things are petty tight right now but one day I’ll have this! Maybe next year sometime, it might even be cheaper by then.

Bought a second hand kindle paperwhite yesterday just as a spontaneous buy. Haven’t put it down since. Absolutely in love with it already! Best buy of the year by far.

Blu rays look fine for this series anyway. Maybe one day on sale.

Around midway through the film all hell breaks loose literally and the film turns in Apocalypse Now/ The Deer Hunter. Did not expect to have such an emotional response at a John Woo film! This is an absolutely must have in anyones Arrow collection. 10/10 release.

I’ve been out of the loop with Kindles for the longest time. The last one I had must have been over 10 years ago. In my old job I could listen to audiobooks all day so reading went out the window for at least 10 years.

Now I’m getting back into reading and this little paperwhite caught my eye today in used games and tech shop. Had a little wear but it’s already grown on me.

Starting fresh with the Horus Heresy. Nothing like reading a good book in the park on a sunny day. Best 50 quid I’ve spent in a long time. The beauty is I still have all my old books I bought years ago on my account!

Watched Bullet in the Head last night. Incredible! Honesty my favourite releases of the year. Just ordered A Better Tomorrow trilogy. Arrow has smashed it out of the park with these John Woo releases.

Due the nature of my last job I could listen to audiobooks all day. I’ve listened to the whole of the Heresy on audiobook. Now I’m going back and actually reading them all. Different experience entirely. Betrayer is one of my personal favourites out of the whole Horus Heresy saga. Could you imagine if they made a film about this one book. How epic it would be!? Just started today and can’t put it down.

First bike since I was a teenager. Been driving in London for the past 12 years (miserable experience). Had enough. Walked in my local bike store and said give me your best all rounder. They showed me this one. Sold. Been cycling everyday for two weeks. Not only does it feel like I’m free for the first time in decades I’ve instantly lost weight.

Riding a bike in London feels like I’m on easy mode after a decade of driving a van around. The buzz I get is unmatched to anything I’ve done before or since! Absolutely love it! Feel like a teenager again!

It’s actually only cost me £15! A beautiful Arrow 4K with a slipcover! Very happy! Watching tonight! Was originally going to get Westworld but this caught my eye.

I’ve got Bullet in the Head 4K coming this week! I love every single one of these films and watch them multiple times a year.

I’ve just finished watching the first one last night. It was excellent. Love the look of this set. Of course Tony Stella’s artwork is incredible as usual. For anyone who’s seen all three are they as good as the first. Can’t wait to own this with Hard Boiled, The Killer and Bullet in the Head. They all complement each other perfectly.

I got it on sale a few years back and never see anyone mention it. It’s a really beautiful set.

RIP to the GOAT of film artwork! Just incredible. Makes the purchase of physical media a little bit more special.

These were the sweetest most delicious strawberries I’ve ever had and ironically the cheapest strawberries I’ve ever bought. 10/10.
