What We Saw from the Cheap Seats

What We Saw from the Cheap Seats

What We Saw from the Cheap Seats is a very good album, but unfortunately Regina Spektor supports Israel. Can anyone recommend any albums with a similar vibe?

Albums I can listen to instead of Crybaby?

As it turns out, putting songs from all three of her albums on one post was not a good idea, so I'm going to make three posts for each of her albums. Aside from Tag, You're It, Milk and Cookies and Pacify Her, I also liked the tracks Sippy Cup and Cake.

This dialogue choice at The End of Everything is interesting and confusing at the same time

The answer to these questions, in my opinion, are no and yes. Courage is beautiful, but by definition, it is the choice and willingness to confront agony, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation. There is no courage without adversity.

Albums that have a similar sound to K-12?

As I've said before, I used to listen to Melanie's music until the allegations came out, and I do not wish to continue listening to her music unless the allegations are completely disproven. Can anyone recommend any albums with a similar sound to K-12?

To be more specific, I'd like to hear songs that use a music box or something similar as a prominent instrument.

Is this a glockenspiel or something?

Yes, I posted about this song before, but this time I'm inquiring about this specific part of it.

Songs that sound like Ten Crack Commandments by The Notorious B.I.G.?

I love this sample used in Ten Crack Commandments, and would love to listen to some songs with a similar vibe

Songs that have a "prelude" or "monologue" like these tracks?

For context:

  • The Archetypes samples the instrumental opening of The State of Dreaming
  • The music videos for Ride and National Anthem start and end with monologues
