Even if Mitya is only an ordinary human, his scarf is obviously something unique

It’s not like Escoffier’s tail, I’d say it’s closer to Oz or Ajaw, it has its own sentience and a heighten sense of awareness(as seen with his conversation with Vodyanitsa)

I hope the story is either that it was his baby blanket made of some kind of Fae magic, it’s a body part to a ancient being, or his stellar pin was wrapped in it and the elemental energy brought it to life

And not just “I found it in some old ruins”

Especially considering Odette speaks about his scarf as if it was a living thing

Does his fast cryo application complete the requirements or does Durin’s pyro ruin it?

When we first saw all the new BP weapons, the effects were a little confusing

The one’s built around stellar usually made it clear that it had to be reaction trigger not reaction dmg so unless Sandrone is the only Cryo character on the team. She’s not gonna be reliably triggering the passive.

Danica on the other hand

We now know that

Danica is a claymore, since she’s electro, she’ll have an easier time triggering the passive

Mitya is a catalyst, a hybrid dps built for on field and off field damage so the new catalyst would make sense for him

Tsaritsa is a bow, EM and ATK the stats the bow gives should definitely be her bread and butter

The sword and polearm

Pretty sure Vesna’s mobile play style makes her a shoe in for it

Polearm is obviously Escoffier/Alyosha/Zhongli And maybe a new character we haven’t met yet

But yeah any thoughts?

I feel like Anemo is more believable as his element

At this point we have 4 electro characters all made for stellar conduct and that’s not even counting the buffed units, stellar swirl only has Mizuki

Besides, it wouldn’t be the first time we’ve gotten a purely red anemo character

Not only that but the same leak who said he was Dendro was wrong about both Tsaritsa and Danica’s weapon so I have reason to be skeptical

Although, in the end, I would be happy with either Dendro or Anemo I just think it’s wild that stellar conduct is pretty much an oversaturated market right at the start

And if so these are the teams that I’m thinking of

Mizuki C2/Vodyanista/Oddette/ Sucrose or Faruzan C6

Wriothesley C2R1/Furina/Skirk(R5 Wolf Fang)/Escoffier C1

Leaks say that he’s a field DPS mainly but his burst can allow him to attack off field, his supportability is locked behind his early constellations

Basic attacks are irrelevant

Skill, different effects, based on tap and hold

Tap, tap enters a skill state that allows him to do normal attacks aligned with stellar and at certain intervals he can use mini bursts

Hold, a massive electro explosion that restores a certain amount of energy

Bust, using his skill straight up conjures an off field summon that deals stellar electro dmg

Passive 1, whenever he does stellar electro damage he gives nearby party members 10% of his EM

Passive 2,

Overworld passive, hold down the jump button, and his scarf will vault him into the air, while airborne, you can press the dash button too consume stamina and perform a forward swing, well the active character is airborne. You can switch to Mitya to preform a forward swing as well

C1. After using his hold skill he creates a shield, and while the shield is active, the on field character gets 100 EM and 50% stellar conduct damage, additionally, after using the hold skill the cooldown is immediately resets

C2. After using his hold skill he can bring out the summon from his burst, while he’s in skill state he can perform an additional mini burst, when he does stellar dmg he shreds cryo/electro

Don’t get me wrong. I love the guy so much. He’s so cool. His scarf is so funny and the fact that he went toe to toe with Ronova was awesome

I’m more or less talking about the leaks about him. I’m happy that he’s a stellar character. It’s just that…. He’s kind of part of a diluted market.

I was hoping that he would be a sub DPS at a baseline because of how many stellar conduct dps is that we already have

Sandrone, traveler, Cyno, Wriothesley

But according to leaks, he is hybrid just not in the same way Durin was, his application is bound to his burst which I was hoping it’d be on his skill but apparently that’s reserved for C2

I was planning to go vertical with him anyway and I know we shouldn’t trust leaks completely this early in the game but it still doesn’t look good especially with how soon Vodyanista got clocked

Tap create an off field summon that can apply electro and deal stellar aligned electro dmg, scales off EM

Hold, he enters a skill state where his scarf becomes a huge claw, he barely lifts a finger while the scarf does all the work, he does normal electro attacks then an indicator will show up, allowing him to do a special charge attack that does stellar electro damage(think Cyno), scales off EM

Burst, big PP dmg

Passive 1, gains ER/EM based on the electro/cryo members in the party

Passive 2, gives party 10% of his EM

Off field passive, while outside of combat, if you hold down the skill button, his scarf will vault him into the air, you can consume further stamina to perform a forward swing for extra distance, if a character is already moving or airborne you can immediately change to Mitya as he swings forward and regains 50 stamina
