So a few months ago I was playing retro FF games. Played VI and loved it, then VIII and disliked it, and by the time I made it to IX, I played 30 minutes and was gravely uninterested and bored. But since then, I've seen a lot of people praise it and call it the best FF game. Should I give it another shot, or is it not for me?

Put in the computer details cuz idk if the type of computer and its charger affects anything. I looked to see if there was a new one to buy on Amazon but they're $40...is it fine for my charger to be like this??

Ignoring, yk, blatant racism, it's also just logically dumb. If a pervert is in any other country, bad on the pervert. If it's one in Japan, I've seen this sub start saying stuff like "only in Japan", labeling it as a pedo country (US government is right there btw), mocking it as an "anime paradise", etc.

I think we need to just start treating Japan like a normal country with bad and good...and tbf it does have higher highs than other countries. Bad things happen everywhere, just dont make it a country thing, make it a person thing like is done with any other country.

I'm a big JRPG fan ofc, with my favorites being Xenoblade Chronicles, Persona, and Final Fantasy (with Xenoblade Chronicles and Persona > Final Fantasy by a bit). I was considering playing IV, but also heard of Tales of Berseria, which I've heard nothing but good things about, and it also looks dope and I'm all for a female protagonist. I'm basically wondering if once I beat a few games I'm playing right now, if I should go try Tales of Berseria, or if I should play it safe with FFIV.

Is Tales of Berseria worth is as a Xenoblade Chronicles, Persona, and Final Fantasy fan? And even then, is it just generally good? I want a great story, characters, and engaging combat (at least as good as let's say, Xenoblade Chronicles 1's).

Length is also a factor for me though. I'm planning on beating FFVII Rebirth (almost done with chapter 13), FFXVI (beat the Titan boss, so I think i'm mostly done), and doing the deltarune weird route all by the time Final Fantasy Resonance drops October 22 (though I have some wiggle room).
And lastly, is Tales of Berseria one of those JRPGs that takes a while to pick up and has long setup, or does it only take a bit to get right into the action?

Platform is PC or Switch, but ik these are on both.

P.S. why on steam is there the remastered one for $10 cheaper than the original? They also look like the exact same.

Edit: so I'm now learning ToB is part of a series. Do I need to play previous installments to enjoy it?

It's been going on for a while and this tech guy said cleaning my fans would help, but I just wanna confirm. I tried blowing compressed air in from the outside and tomorrow I'll take this to a PC repair shop, but just wanted to know if this sound will stop once my fans are cleaned. I've always wanted this figure since i first saw it after playing her ServantFes, but I knew my family would burn me at the stake for putting her in my room.

But now that I'm in college and in a dorm, I realized there's nobody to judge me (except my roommate, who's pretty chill) and nabbed it!

For me it's this, it's so dumb because people forget factors besides quality go into popularity. Harry Potter would be above 90% of fiction if popularity would be anything to go by.

I'm one tier away from maxing out her relationship, but she's been at that blue almost complete smiley face tier forever. Now I'm being given this choice, does that mean it's too late now?

This sub treats her like she's everything wrong with current society. I've even seen people say she makes Re:ZERO worse, which imo you can not like her, but that's an illiterate take. Her dynamic with Subaru is one of my favorites in fiction, and I admit her development can be slow, but you can't look at her post-arc 4 and tell me she's the same she's always been with no development. Her involvement in the battle against Regulus is absolute proof of that, alongside other parts.

So say what you will, but taking her out of Re:ZERO would be a very poor decision (where tf would the plot even go?!) And she may have flaws (like every other character in fiction), but she's a really solid character.
