There's a saying that I heard that the worst thing about social media is that you are forced to engage with people who you would not engage with or give the time of day in the real world and I think this has happened in the modern sports arena. In the old days callers who acted how the worst of sports social media act wouldn't get on the air and no one would be subjected to their insanity but now modern sports media/talk is chasing the vitality of sports social media which only has those types of voices so now the inmates are running the asylum.

I always thought of all the new generation of hosts Moose was the one who modeled his broadcasting persona the most after Mike and I'm pretty surprised they haven't collabed more. I obviously don't know the reasons why, be it schedule conflicts or time constraints but it would be pretty cool to see them work together. It's even more surprising since Sal and JJ are now on the bet rivers network and appear on francesa's show from time to time. They seem like a bit of a personality clash but I know Mike has a long history with Sal. What does everyone else think? Would you like to see big Mike and moose work together in the future?

I have two friendships that I have come to the conclusion that they may have ran their course. I'm thinking of possibly ending things but I might let it play out but wanted to go on here to see what you guys thought is the best course of action. In friendship A we've known each other since 2017 and we've only ever interacted online(I don't even know their last name) and we've interacted less and less over the last couple of years(a lot of stuff has happened in both our lives). They pretty much never initiate a conversation, I'm the one who almost always texts first and when they do respond they seem very disinterested. The other thing is they are religious and I'm not which leaves a limited number of topics we can talk about. Friendship B: we've been friends since highschool and we've met in person and talk over the phone also video chat since I left my hometown where they still live. They take a while to respond to messages but they do eventually respond and there is no limits on what we talk about. The one big thing is that they seem to be stuck in the past with alot of things(have a lot of the same interests and thinking as what we had in highschool)but for the most part they are a solid friend.

This is where the dilemma comes in, both friendships have their pros and cons but both are also pretty strained at the moment with all of us being busy adults and interactions becoming more and more rare. So I bring this here to ask you guys what is the best course of action: stick with both of them, cut one off, cut off both or just start new friendships all together lol any advice would help.

I was wondering for the past few months why I can't watch the show South park for more than an episode at a time and I don't find even watching it an enjoyable experience anymore. Then I realized that I have outgrown the show. The humor just feels very silly and juvenile to me now. What are some shows that you guys feel that you have outgrown and why?

With everything going on in the world I was thinking about a conversation I had with a male friend and they were talking about a female coworker who is very difficult and how the coworkers in the office let it go. It reminded me of my older sister who is incredibly manipulative and guilt trips me all the time but when I call her out she acts innocent. We really have to hold women more accountable and call them out on their bullshit even though they'll play the victim.

I know the obvious is a win but what aspect of the game that would tell you this thing is being turned around? For me its if they look like a competent football team: low penalties, no backbreaking mistakes, good game management and beating teams you are supposed to beat like the titans.

I'm trying to think and I don't remember him calling in as much as he does now on the fan. Anyone who knows please fill us in the comments. He was on with Joe this morning and he was bashing boone again. That guy is a riot.

I can think of a few but Kevin James getting in shape for a couple seasons of king of queens was pretty impressive. What do you guys think?

I've had a tough time with women over the years and finding out more about men's rights and how society treats men it's gotten harder to deal with women out in the world. I'm on the bigger side(6 ft 4) and the way women look at you like you are gonna attack them if you walk past them or talk down to you when you ask them something it's become really tough to handle. I try to be an easy going and sociable guy and I'm always polite and kind but being bombarded by all the anti man rhetoric you see everywhere then seeing women treat you like a placeholder for all their anti man bashing is tough to take. Ideally I wish I could be by myself most of the time but I know that's not possible so I guess I gotta just learn how to deal. If anyone is dealing with a similar any advice would be a big help

It's been an ongoing thing now especially over the last few months. His obsession with crapping on everything the jets do and acting like mougey is controlling the organization now even tho every jets beat reporter debunked his report. I don't know if it's residual stuff from the parcels divorce or he just doesn't respect woody johnson the act has gotten tired now. Probably the most annoying thing is that he refuses to acknowledge that the team was obviously tanking after the trade deadline and he acts like they were actually trying to win but we're just inept. Am I off base with all of this? I know it's the jets and they are terrible but the bias has gotten out of control.

It's been going on for months now but I've completely lost all pleasure around food or eating and I only eat now for fuel and bc I have to. When I'm not at home I eat the same thing and I don't even care about the taste. I know most of this is due to my depression but I've lost all interest in food and don't care if I regain it at all at this point. Does anyone have any advice about this and how I can change? If you guys have experience with this a different perspective would be good.

I have a relative that reminds me a lot of Carrie from The king of queens and it kinda almost ruined the show for me but I eventually got over it and still watch the show. What characters remind you guys of people in your life?

I'm watching "chocolate milk"(S02E02) and that scene came up with Terry woozy from the anesthesia and him saying that holt needs to smoke some weed. Which got me thinking which characters would react the worst or best to recreational drugs? We already know about amy and her drink limits but which other characters do you think would have funny reactions?(I'm gonna add an nfsw tag bc idk how this sub operates with certain topics)
