I heard you can turn off EAC and the game separates the players who use it and those who don't. Will I find more games if I keep it on? I hate kernel anticheats but rather use it than play it against cheaters.

I'm getting the game and Geese is the character I'm most interested in. I tried him a bit in CVS2 bit and my hand brakes on his supers. Although modern ff probably is a bit more lenient on inputs.

Can I still play him optimally if I lose the extra dmg on his true inputs?

Is there a way to play that version on this? P-groove looks much more fun and I don't care about roll cancelling. Ot is getting the steam collection the only way to play that?

I mainly played SF6 and Tekken 8 so far, but I'm branching out to other games, including old classics like CvS2 and Third strike.

But I'm really really struggling with Geese in CvS. I'm really interested in him since I played him in Tekken 7 (same reason I picked up Akuma in SF). It's not even about the pretzel input and the likes it's about how precise you need to be compared to modern games. SF6 is so lenient, if you do a motion kinda close the move will come out what you wanted most of the time.

But I can't even do a simple crouch heavy punch into Jaeken. I was sitting there in practice mode for half an hour and not a single one came out, even though the inputs looked clean. So I probably don't do it fast enough, but no way in hell that I can do it faster than currently. And I can't even imagine this quickly cancelling into his harder motion supers...

I'm playing on leverless are there any good tricks for it? For example in Tekken I bound an extra forwad and back for easier electrics, it's tournament legal and makes a ton of difference.

I'm considering just getting Fatal Fury Cotw so I could play Geese with easier inputs shame on me...

Got the game recently and I love it, but I don't have access to servicable internet for a few months so I can't play it online really. So I've been playing against ai, but it's so easy on hard and way too input reading on very hard. But it's still piss easy since it will just eat some moves 99% of the time so you can exploit it very easily. Which is also not fun...

There are so many good mods for this game, is there any that improves the singleplayer experience?

I want to learn him in 5, but he has a high skill floor execution wise and I'd like to know if the majority of the muscle memory will carry over 6 or not.

Since it's been so long since the last game I don't know if they are going to do a full reboot where it's basically completely new and only the characters and name is the same, or will legacy knowledge make you better?

I'm a new player and I already realised I'm not very original, these 2 seem to be the most popular characters. But I'm a sucker for Vergil in any media and Dark Phoenix install looks so fun.

I'm thinking Dr. Doom (love him as a character I know he's also very good), spiderman (favourite marvel hero), akuma (playing him in sf6) but I'm open to any fun recommendations thaz work well with these two.

I saw that this game also has machine learning ai. It's pretty good in SF6 and terrible in Tekken 8. Where does this one stand? I'm not buying the game exclusively for that but it's a nice feature to have when you don't have access to good internet.

I'm on a fighting game buying spree on steam (and also got the Arc sys humble bunde). So far I got DBFZ, Virtua fighter 5, SF6, Tekken 8, and heavily considering Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising (I'm kinda having fun just with the free edition lol, forcing me to learn new characters every week is fun).

Now the last one I'm considering is COTW, honestly it looks even more fun that SF, but not sure about it's longetivity seeing it's current player count. What do you think?

I loved playing Geese in Tekken 7, would be fun to try him in his own domain.

I'm having trouble finding combos for all characters, there are some on dustloop, but most are incomplete or not recent. What are the best places to find all the combos for a character?

I tried asking in the discord too maybe here someone figured it out. I really don't want to have shitty EAC installed on my pc just to play this offline singleplayer.

For example in Dragon Ball Fighterz you can choose to run it without EAC.

I returned after around 5 years and have some rp left on my account to burn. So far I got Soulfighter Viego and Samira. Love the Viego skin, but Samira def not worth ultimate pricing. But it's her only decent skin so...

I play a ton of different champs so just looking for general recommendations of what skins should I check out.

I only played 2 games with him so far on mid. First one I absolutely destroyed the enemy Yone and carried the game. Fell in love with the champ.

Second game a Talon absolutely destroyed me. What I figured out in the first game that it's good to stack q on as many minions I can, teleport with e on the casters in the back and dash with the e aa back on the canon and melees. Super fast clear kinda like Kata. I just clear the lane in a few sec and go roam.

But the probem is, enemy talon could just jump me any time I walked or teleported in and he was ahead of me, and with every trade I lost more hp. And Locke q on it's own doesn't deal enough dmg to reliably last hit minions from range, you have to get that aa or e in.

So could anyone who already figured him out more give me some tips? I really like his playstyle and I want to pick him up as one of my mains, but I like if my champ can play well from behind.

I'm just wondering since in Street fighter it's very clear that it's Ryu (even though Ken, Akuma and Chung-Li are all very close). But in Tekken Jin is the main character, but Kazuya is the one who got into Smash and that's probably for a reason.

I mean yeah in earlier game he was the main character, but it's been longer now that we got Jin, but I feel like he's still way more popular.

So who do you think is the face of Tekken? King kinda gets close in the competition too, probably a large audience outside of Tekken also recognizes him, but he's not on the disk art or something so he can't get into the conversation.

I want to download a bunch of mods, but the new dlc and update is just around the corner so I'm not sure if it's the best time to do it. Everything might break and I have to wait for updates and do it all over again.

So should I expect mods to stop working after the update?

I just saw the Sasuke mod, holy hell I didn't know the modding scene was this advanced now. Animations and effect look so smooth, last time I checked most characters were just asset flips.

I finally got my gf interested in fighting games (thanks to 2xko of all things) and we're trying out a bunch of them to see what sticks. Tried the free edition and I instantly bough the deluxe+character pass 2. It feels like if dbfz and street fighter had a baby, it has all the grounded footsies of sf with the flair and cool characters of anime fighters. It's very easy to pick up execution wise, but there's enough depth to be competitive.

It's kinda perfect in a way lol, how come it's not bigger? I hate that all fighters with aesthetics like this are all tag games with turbo gamespeed, it's refreshing to see a more grounded anime game.
