the amount of shaking that this scooter took scared me but it can handle pretty much anything it felt like offroading with a suv having to go slow and steady while everything is violently shaking the cover i have could not sit on the screen so i had to remove it and put it in the bag thats how badly it was shaking.

7 years of this scooter and it still amazes me it feels like a tank i trust it with everything.

I have worked on a case design the past 6 months for my 5090 astral it's sub 10 liters while another configuration is 11 or 12 and provides excellent thermals and decibel at 30 on load, i recently found out the true dimensions of the mugitya fe 9 around 8 liters which means my 10 liter design no longer is special at 11 liters, so i converted it for the 5090fe and got it to 6.81 liters, i am interested in seeing how this will work so i am curious if someone owning a 5090fe wants to test my design, you need a itx motherboard and sfx psu as well as a fairly low profile cpu cooler like the noctua l9i.

you need roughly 300g petg and maybe 200g pla

this is far from a functional case as i don't have the fe this is just a test to see how it fits it could be functional but it could also need adjustments, the astral case is fully functional however.

It's non-stop maintenance non-stop taking it apart non-stop losing several days on prints I am so tired of this

I am now home from the vet they found a tumor or growth on his belly and decided the best would be to let him sleep they said she not sure if that was accurate as i never asked for confirmation, they also assured me that this was not my fault even guaranteed it, two vets checked and came to the same conclusion, they said i could hold him when being given the medicine to make him tired but they said this could stress him so i chose to let him be in the cage as i just pet his head as he slowly fell asleep until the second part which i left for.

I got this bird with 2 siblings and another cockatiel named llana at the latest may 2007 as it is the first picture i have of him or his siblings i also have an email mentioning them in april 2007, he was fully grown and i bought them from a private person, it is likely i got them in 2006 but i don't know so at the latest it was 2007 fully grown meaning he would have been around 3 4 when i got him, making him one of the oldest cockatiels in the world, the picture shows him with his two siblings

This was a very special bird that wasn't easily frightened i could use an air compressor in my apartment without him even flinching

He survived all 2 of his siblings despite them not being good to him causing his lack of feathers, i thought it was 4 of them but then realized lana was one so they were 3 together.

I will miss the singing when i open the door to my apartment or hearing him in my apartment building now it's completely silent the rattling from him climbing the occasional singing all of that is now gone, i wish he had passed in my apartment with me but i am not sure if it was better to just take him there it cost me $350 and i could tell he was stressed by being checked as he stopped climbing as much after but he started to climb again after 20 or so min so i could take this last normal picture.

He started breathing with his beak and making sounds while breathing a few times a day like sneezing the vet suggested i take him so I worry as usually there's never hope on that he's been featherless since 2019.

My G30D has a secondary throttle that controls the electronic motor brake, so I don’t use the drum brake at all. In fact, I disconnected the handbrake cable years ago because I never needed it. The brake throttle has made riding dramatically safer for me. My finger moves to the brake throttle before I consciously realize I need to slow down, so when I do realize it, my finger is already there and I simply press down. It’s completely seamless — I can ride at full speed almost nonstop because I only brake when necessary, and my finger naturally hovers near the brake throttle without me thinking about it.

Whenever I ride over uneven terrain, my finger automatically shifts toward the brake. Sometimes I even get confused for a moment, wondering why my finger moved, until I realize it was just because the road surface changed. These micro‑movements happen constantly without conscious thought, which means I’m always ready to brake instantly.

I would argue that this braking system is far safer than a traditional handbrake. With a handbrake, you either have to keep your hand on it all the time — which I doubt anyone actually does — or you have to move your hand to reach it when something happens. That means you’re never ready before the situation occurs. You lose about a full second adjusting your hand, so your reaction time becomes around 1 second instead of the 0.3 seconds I get with the electronic brake. The handbrake also requires more force and feels more cumbersome, while the brake throttle is extremely light, easy to press, and feels natural.

On top of being intuitive, the electronic brake is also much smoother than a handbrake. Pressing it fully doesn’t cause the scooter to slide; instead, it slows down in rapid micro‑steps, almost like a simplified ABS system. You stop quickly, but without losing traction or control.

I believe this is why my original tires — almost 7000 km old — are still holding up. I rarely slide the tires when braking because the regen brake slows the scooter softly and evenly. I’m not even sure if the tires are completely bald at this point, but I don’t feel any issues with them, and they’re still the original ones.
