Which weapons should I fit to the Ravager ?

Which weapons should I fit to the Ravager ?

Dear Archons,

I often see Ravagers equipped with disintegrator cannons rather than dark lances.

Is there a reason for this? The number of shots? The random nature of the damage dealt by lances of darkness?

Feedback from a newbie and some questions.

Hi everyone,

I’m back with the Dark Eldar after taking a decade-long break from the hobby. I first started with this army in 2011 before life took me away from our favourite game.

Although I finally returned to it in 2024, I’m back with a Thousand Sons army based on tanking and Rubrics.

I love our transport units, our vehicles, the Incubi and the various types of Kabalites, not to mention Lady Malys, the Archons and the Drazhar.

Is there a detachment that allows you to play without necessarily seeking out close combat, instead circling the opponent and harassing them from aboard our transports? If so, what sort of priority asset should I choose?

Knight Blood artwork. What do you think?

My first piece of artwork and only the second drawing I’ve done in colour. I’m not necessarily a fan of the Blood Angels and their heirs, but a close friend of mine is, and it was for him that I wanted to give it a go.

Aurore 🏳️‍⚧️

A gift for my daughter

Tomorrow is my daughter’s birthday – she’s a big fan of Stitch. ‘The blue one, not the pink one, mind you,’ she told me. So I thought she’d love to have her very own personalised picture of her favourite fictional character.

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that she’ll like it 🤞

What should I buy to get started?

Hi everyone, 👋

For a new player joining your faction, what advice would you give them once they’ve bought the Spearhead?

The aim, of course, is to reach 2k points.

Thanks

Fyreslayers gameplay ?

I don’t know anything about this faction’s gameplay – what’s it actually like?

It’s obvious that it revolves around infantry and close combat, but what can you tell me about it?

A drawing of one of Sanguinius’s cursed sons. The project is still in progress.

It’s coming along nicely. It’s a drawing project I started a while ago, and I’ve finally managed to turn it into something nice. What do you think?

Which units should I start with when building an army here?

Hello,

Following my post the other day, I’ve decided to go for a skeleton army.

As the number of entries in the battletome is limited when building an army consisting solely of skeletons, which units would you recommend?

Advice for a newbie

Hello,

Having played AOS and the Kharadrons back in 2024, I’ve since moved on from the game and that army to Kill Team and Warhammer 40,000.

However, I’d now like to get back into the game and I’m wondering whether to do so with the Flying Capitalist Dwarves.

As I want to play a Arkanaut Ironclad, what would you recommend to complement it?

Thanks!

Which faction should I choose?

Hello everyone,

Having played AOS in the past with the Kharadron, I eventually gave up the game at the end of 2024 to switch to Kill Team and 40K.

After playing both of these games for a year, I’d like to return to AOS and the fantasy universe, but I’m wondering which army would suit me best.

I’m torn between several options and would like to find out more about the different factions, their history and their playstyle.

The ones I like are the Soulblight Gravelords, the Nighthaunt, the Helsmiths of Hashut and the Fyreslayers.

So, please feel free to sing the praises of your faction.

Thanks! 😘

Where to start ?

Hello dear Xenos,

Having returned to the game in V11 after a long break between 2014 and 2025, I’ve picked up where I left off with my favourite faction, the Thousand Sons.

As I particularly enjoy shooting armies, I’m considering getting an army whose gameplay suits what I’m looking for.

So, I was wondering what advice you’d give to someone looking to get started with the Taus?
