My grandfather's collection of vintage 1940s International Mutoscope Reel Company arcade trading cards featuring risqué and cheesecake pin-up artwork by artists Earl Moran, Gil Elvgren and Earl Carroll.

When I was 13 in 1997 I saw a lunch box with an image of Bettie Page on it in a Hot Topic store. That triggered an obsession with Bettie and pin-up photography & art going forward. When my grandpa passed in 2013 I inherited all his naughty/dirty/cheeky stuff.

All my books have been in storage for almost a decade. Today I found 2 of my 3 1986/1987 Marvel Labryinth comics. I may be in a bit of a panic about where #1 is.

I found this while helping my parents move.

I found these in the basement while helping my parents move from the home they've lived in for over 35 years.

The Hechinger Company was an American chain of home-improvement centers (like Home Depot and Lowe's) from 1911 to 1999. Their slogan was "the world's most unusual lumber yard".

My dad worked for the company from the early 1980s until their closing in 1999. He worked in various stores throughout upstate NY, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

The location he worked at the longest is 2 miles from the home I grew up in and is now a children's activity and gymnastics center that my daughters attend regularly. The scent of processed wood is still one of my favorite smells and to this day I can't go into a local Lowe's or Home Depot without one of my dad's former employees chatting me up.

I found this in a box of my old baby clothes and memorabilia while helping my parents move. Circa mid-1980s.

I found this in the garage of the home my husband and I just bought.

I found my dad's 1960s shoe shine kit while helping my parents move. The actual product is long gone, it's filled with more modern shoe shine products but this was still glued to the inside of the lid.

I'm clearing out my parents' house as they're getting ready to move and I found these Tori postcards in the basement. I used to get these from Hot Topic, Borders and Barnes & Noble and plaster them to my walls from about 1996-2002.

I'm clearing out my father's workshop and found these at the bottom of an old tin can. My parents had a time share at Vistana Resort in Orlando, FL from the late '80s through the mid '90s.

I was reminded of this beauty after seeing the post by u/Tiberius_Johann of the Dodge Brothers' tomb in Woodlawn Cemetery and had to share!

This is the Winter Mausoleum in Pittsburgh’s Allegheny Cemetery. An Egyptian Revival monument built in 1930 for wealthy banker and steel industrialist Emil Winter.

It has been affectionately nicknamed the "Titty Sphinx" by locals because of the distinct, human-like anatomical details of the twin female sphinxes (modeled after Greek rather than traditional Egyptian styles) flanking the entryway.

My parents are moving from the home they've lived in for over 35 years. I found this McDonald's Happy Meal pencil case tucked away in my dad's basement workshop (filled with poker chips and cards 😂) while helping clear it out.

My husband and I just bought our first house. It was built in 1865 and the previous owners had lived there for 60 years. I found this tucked away in the workshop in the basement.
