Cutesy: Standard Issue Sleepyhead
Almost 16 years of sleeping like she's never slept before (and eating like she's never eaten before).
The Beatles - The Magical Mystery Tour
This was tacked to the wall in the attic of a house my husband and I are considering buying.
Page 15 of the insert from The Beatles The Magical Mystery Tour vinyl (1967). "Meet Major Mccartney and Sgt. Spinetti!" and a photo of George and John.
My husband wants to convert the space into his drum studio and is a huge Beatles fan. I'm thinking it's a sign.
Cutesy's Brokey Teefies
She's fine, they've been like this for years and the vet is not concerned.

It's a sign.

Limp Bizkit backdrop posted by Fred Durst on instagram, is this AI?
The aliens look a bit off to me and I really need to know if this is AI cause I just do not tolerate it at all.

Festival Hygiene
One of my husband's bands is playing at the Into the Pines Revival Festival at the Sterling Stage Kampitheater in Sterling, NY (upstate/central NY) July 2nd-6th and I need some advice regarding hygiene.
A little background: I (42f) came up in the goth/metal/punk scene and had never been to a camping/overnight type festival until I met my husband (43m) six years ago. He was/is more of the hippie type and has frequented festivals for the last 25ish years. I've now been to 6 with him (Estival Festival x1, The Great Blue Heron Musical Festival x4 and Into the Pines x1) and I love it.
However, I'm mildly high maintenance when it comes to my hygiene/showering. It hasn't been much of an issue in the past as he was performing in headlining bands and we were provided upgraded/private showers (didn't stay over at last years ItPRF). The SS Kampitheater apparently has no bathing facilities.
As high maintenance as I may be in that area, I am a tomboy type... I enjoy getting dirty/wet/muddy, bugs/creepy crawlies don't bother me (in fact I love them), etc. Buuuut... I have a condition called PCOS. Two of the symptoms are hirsutism (I can grow a better beard than some dudes) and excessively greasy/oily skin. On top of that I will most likely have my period. I don't expect or need anything fancy but I NEED to be able to take care of my cleanliness and shave my face to be able to properly enjoy myself.
Are outdoor showers/tents worth it? Any tips at all are welcome! Does anyone else have this condition that can weigh in?
Lord Valentine's Castle by Robert Silverberg, 1980 (Ron Walotsky)
Book 1 of 2 of the Majipoor series

This cover is not the worst but the look on that horse like creature's face and duder's outfit are so silly I think it has a place here.

I've recently inherited my father's 500+ library (mostly sci-fi, fantasy and horror) so I'll be here periodically while I go through his collection. I hope everyone enjoys!

(Resubmission) Peewee Gaskins. Here are pictures of the Former home of SC (USA) most sadistic and highest recorded body count's former home in Lake City SC. My grandparents were his landlord to this property
Peewee Gaskins: He was most known for pickup up hitch hikers from a small farm town (Lake City SC) which is about an hour from Myrtle Beach SC. His victims were young women and children but he also killed his prison cell mate with an improvised bomb. I'II leave a Wikipedia link if your morbid curiosity has you wanting more details!
My grandparents were his landlord and he has been inside their house numerous times to pay rent in cash.
My grandma is getting older and she finallly decided to take my cousins on a tour around his old house they rented to him. And the back roads
Numerous shallow graves were found near his house within a mile of my grandparents home.
New Tunnels & Saddles!
I started re-stretching 2.5 months ago (was 1"/25mm 20 years ago) and got back to 00g in that short time with no issues or real effort. Taking a break for a while so I celebrated with some nice jewelry.
We've Got a New Recruit (sound only)
Just a little snippet of my husband's 10 year old drum student playing Peg at their lesson today. They're working on Gaucho and Bodhisattva now. It put a smile to my face and I hope it does the same for you too!
