Need advice from seasoned users who travel to UK.

I’m new to THS and am going to the UK in October. I’m trying to land long term sits to lessen the chances of having to pay for hotels in between too much. The plan is to get two or three between Sept. 30 and return to the US around first week in December.

Just from googling, it looks like basic 3 star hotels are about 100.00 US dollars per night in most areas, more getting closer to London or bigger cities in the fall months but IDK for certain. Trains between sits or to just get short distances from sit to entertainment looks about 20.00 to 30.00. I know there’s an additional 20% on top of most purchases for Americans, then food costs, etc.

Am I crazy to think I can do this on about 800.00 to 1000.00 US dollars per month for just the basics I’ve listed here?

How much should I budget for provided nothing weird happens like having a home owner cancel last minute?

Thanks for taking the time to respond.

I asked Google AI a question and got a run around answer that wasn’t factual. This was its response to my getting mad at it.

My question was: are there any videos of Kaitlin Collins face during the dinner recently where Trump insulted her. It gave me several videos to watch but no photos though it originally said yes, there are photos. It lied. When I asked it why it didn’t simply provide facts this was its response.

Here’s a weird one. I’ve never had this happen and need information.

I bought retinol on Amazon. The box/packaging says Retinol but the bottle inside says Alpha Arbutin. Absolutely not the same thing, right?
Immediately contacted Amazon and they ship me a replacement. The replacement is exactly the same; says retinol on box, different thing inside.

Of course I’ll contact them again but has this ever happened to anyone here? I would think the chances of it happening twice were very slim.

Information on COA

This is probably already known by people in this sub but in case it’s new to you, I did a deep dive on Freedom Diagnostics and found a few suspicious items including the fact that the address for the lab is same as address to insurance company.
I’ve been trying to find a good so^~}ce of peptides with legit COA and this one isn’t one of them.

Omg NO SO SAD!! Police never seems to Amazing me with their lack of intelligence. I really would love to study the training they receive cause huh!!! A Harmless Dog Sagittarius what y’all think?

LAPD killed her dog. He was wearing his Knicks jersey.

His name was Jameson. A golden doodle. One of the sweetest, most gentle breeds alive. He wasn't dangerous. He wasn't a threat. He was a family dog celebrating a championship with his owner and her child.

A neighbor called a noise complaint. That's it.

20+ officers showed up. Then a helicopter. For a noise complaint in an apartment complex.

And they shot Jameson dead. In front of his owner. In front of her child.

No warning. No de-escalation. Nothing.

The media is barely covering this. No headlines. No outrage.

Like it never happened.

If this was your dog... your child watching... how would you feel?

Jameson deserved better. That little boy deserved better. His mama deserved better.

Anyone here in the spiritual community? Looking for other women, especially those 55 and older to connect with.

Hello, I’m currently in Brockport but hoping to move to Rochester soon. In my area there don’t seem to be any women who aren’t fairly conservative so I’m an anomaly.
I’m an activist, spiritual, freelance writer simply looking to connect with others of my kind.
Hope it’s okay to post here.

I’m struggling with something in one of my closest relationships and I need help figuring how to handle it and what it might be teaching me.

I’ll be as brief as possible. I moved 3000 miles away to be closer to my daughter. I’m currently staying with her and her fiancé until I find an affordable apartment. It’s been working out well as we’re all fairly easy going people and appreciate each other’s strengths, abilities, boundaries.

I’m naturally the main cleaning person having raised a family, grown up doing it. But I’ve noticed that my daughter has stopped doing any cleaning completely. I’ve never seen her vacuum or clean the bathroom, rarely does the dishes (last time was over 4 months ago), and neither one EVER cleans the bathroom. Her fiancé just likes dusting, period. I do all the grungy, get on your knees, sweaty work. I also do most of the laundry.

I don’t really mind most of the time, it’s exercise of a kind and at 65 I need it. The thing that bothers me is that there’s an unspoken expectation that the housework is my job in exchange for staying here. I don’t agree. I pay a third of all expenses and often buy better groceries like fruit and vegetables in addition to paying a third of food bill. They eat only boxed foods, frozen meals, no fruit or vegetables at all.

Obviously I need and want to move out ASAP but my concern is my perspective from an awareness standpoint. Two things: how do I adopt and maintain a loving stance here? And should I say anything to them, ask them why they seem to have this expectation of me?

I’m grateful to be here. Grateful to reconnect with my daughter but I’m also cognizant that this situation is a mirror. I’ve been the pushover all my life and had to learn to give without losing myself, be kind but not allow myself to be taken advantage of. I’m learning still.

Anyone care to help me get a higher perspective? Decide my next move, if I should do anything at all?
