Is this small crack in a bathtub a concern?

Just noticed it recently and I think it’s new. It’s in a rental unit I have and a shower I don’t use. I cleaned it before some guests last week and noticed it right after they left (when I started cleaning for the next guests)

Is it a concern? It’s about the size of a nickel and has a small ridge when I feel jt.

Newby: mason jars or square PVC pipe for 5-8 veggies?

New to Kratky and want to get up and running asap. Seems like the buy in cost isn't too bad, so I'm wondering if I could have all the veggies I want in 1-2 pvc pipes. Would this be okay or should I stick with mason jars and socks?

Benefit of PVC pipe is I can utilize space better and only have 1-2 reservoirs to fill as needed. It will also look cooler and more sleek/professional.

Downside could be cleaning and maybe more prone to spillage.

The veggies I want to grow (for now):

  • basil
  • mint
  • cherry tomatoes
  • regular tomatoes
  • lettuce
  • kale
  • radishes
  • raspberries (if possible)
  • pepper (some sort, not sure which kind yet but not hot ones)

Any suggestions on jars vs pvc? Are all these or most doable with either?

Kratky harvesting - start from scratch after? Are these veggies possible with Kratky?

I'd like to try growing lettuce, kale, cherry tomatoes, regular tomatoes, basil, raspberries, peppers, and mint.

From what I've ready, it seems like all of these should be doable, but tomatoes may require a bigger reservoir. When I harvest what I want to eat that day/week (particularly with lettuce), do I have to start from scratch after and plant a new seed? Or can I just pluck what I want and have a continuous supply?

I'm not eating tons of veggies at a time but would like to up my intake too. Appreciate any advice. Haven't started my supply yet but plan to go all out next week and plant all at once in mason jars! (Though I am also contemplating using 1-2 square PVC pipes with multiple veggies in each).

Just wondering the best way to go about it!

Part time job/volunteering for 2-3 days a week in West Omaha?

Any one know of "low key" jobs or volunteering around 108th-156th street (between center and Blondo)? Ideally paid desk job but also open to volunteering if its not too much physical work. This is for me to mainly just keep busy but extra income would be nice too!

Are any of these Henckel knives worth it?

Been wanting my first chefs knife. Each of these were $15 or so at Homegoods. Seems like the Zwilling (2 man logo) is better quality. Still not sure if I should just spend $50 on a Victorinox Fibrox or Mercer Renaissance.

Any suggestions?

Just wanting for basic kitchen chefs knife stuff.

Levi’s that are sliiiightly more tapered than 505s at the foot end?

I like the crop look (there’s no flood here boys). But something is unsettling about the lower half of the denim.

It still looks too wide (like bell bottomy) but I may also be viewing it under a magnifier. Someone once told me it’s because I have wide hips but I’m not sure that’s it because I have a pretty skinny build (except the tummy region).

Any suggestions for another Levi’s version? Otherwise I’m loving the color and feel and it’s my first Levi’s pair!

Any suggestions?

Which side should my chaise be on?

It’s NOT couch in the pictures because i don’t have it yet, but I’m hoping to put it in the same place. The new one will be a good amount BIGGER

When facing the couch, on the right side is the garage door and nothing else. I don’t use that door a ton but when I do, I often am carrying bigger things.

Left of the couch is the stairs to go up the the main level (as well as some smaller storage rooms - laundry, furnace, cellar, etc.).

On the wall opposite the couch, I am going to use my projector.

Last picture is the blue couch I hope to put. If the chaise is on the left side, it’ll close off that area and make it a more defined space while not blocking the garage entry. I also feel like I’d mostly use the chaise side to sit so it’ll be nice to not be sitting right next to the garage door. The height of the couch is sort of a concern. But I could also put my stationary bike next to it to make it look less weird.

If I put the chaise on the other side, as soon as I enter the garage, I’ll have to walk all the way around the couch. Might make an awkward closed off area.

New to gardening - which method is best for low maintenance AND year-round indoors?

I was originally planning on a hydroponics tower, but now I'm wondering if I should do Katky instead or something else.

I'm hoping to get everything setup for $50 or less. I like the idea of a tower because it takes less space, looks cool, and seems neat. But I've heard it can cost more and also hear people suggest Katky over it. Not really sure which is better.

What do I want to grow? Whatever grows well indoors, but the most desired are (in no particular order):

  1. Basil
  2. Tomatoes/cherry tomatos (might just put a pot with soil outside)
  3. Kale
  4. Mint
  5. Radish
  6. Asparagus (maybe)
  7. Green onion
  8. Lettuce

I'm not super picky. Mostly just want a basic variety and to up my veggie intake with minimal spending/work. I'm open to switching things around as well.

Appreciate any tips! Would like to get it up and running asap!

Been looking for a while and found a low mileage (under 10k) Mach E in one of my top 2 colors, clean carfax, etc. There's no other issues but still waiting on the official inspection to complete.

It also sounds like they will offer a pretty competitive trade in value for my current car and there are not any significant other fees (doc fee, admin fee, etc.)

I've been looking for a while, and haven't been able to find anything else better than this recently.

Everything checks out so far. Just not sure if 33k is high...If I find it somewhere else on the other hand, there are likely to be some other dealer fees and/or worse trade in value.

Other than price, my only other concern is if I should get Extended Range, but I could probably do without because I almost never go on road trips.

Any advice? Is this price good or at least fair?

Price is competitive. Low miles - under 10k. Sales rep was nice, but difficult to get ahold of. Carfax and pictures look good. If I buy it, I'll probably have to drive about 8 hours each way. Totally willing to (otherwise it's $500 to ship....not too bad still, but if I trade in, it might be double). If I don't end up with the vehicle, it'll of course be a huge waste of time and a whole weekend.

That said, I can't see the vehicle before. I'm pretty interested, have been looking a while, and it's been tough to find one in my range. Is there anything I should do before buying? Any tips? It's been sitting at this dealer for a couple weeks, which seems odd. They have 3.8-3.5/5 stars (depending on the site), 2 really bad recent ones, but otherwise pretty positive.

I'm just a little nervous buying out of state, but it's likely my only option, now or in the future. There's not many turning up in my state because its a less populated one. Should I go for it?

My current strap is a nice color and style but the quality isn’t great. I had it custom made years ago.

Looking for something still medium/dark brown and for a smaller wrist. Ideally under $30 or so.

Any suggestions? Or should I keep as is (only concern is comfort and durability as it’s fallen off a few times but from impacts)?

Basically, if I complete a strength training workout one day, I want to create a reminder (either 1 hour later or at a set time each night) to drink protein if I complete a workout with my Apple Watch.

Just did a trip where I unfortunately relied on Airalo. It was a nightmare and took so much time to set up, only to barely work.

Contacting support through the app/website doesn't even work either. Even found a comment saying to message on reddit, but cant even do that because they have messages off or something. Any suggestions?
