Does anyone else knows Pocoyo is already on his sixth season? The first episode was uploaded 9 days ago on YouTube.

Nice to know Stephen Fry is still the narrator for this season. Also Pocoyo still talks.

What are Dragon Balls fans thoughts on Guilty Gear? I’m a big fan of this series thanks to Dragon Ball FighterZ being the main influence of interest.

My first introduction to Alone In The Dark was through the Game Boy Color and Dreamcast game. My first thought were these games are a “Resident Evil ripoff” little did I know that these games came out BEFORE RE and were the inspiration for RE gameplay (and now I feel like an idiot)

I gotta say for 1992 the graphics look absolutely amazing for the time. Home computer games don’t get enough recognition IMO. I always thought the early Alone in The Dark games were 2D and they copied Resident Evil when they transitioned to 3D when in reality they actually aren’t.

Yesterday I’ve watched the 1989 Japanese horror film Sweet Home. (Via a restored HQ Fansub On YouTube) The movie that inspired the Resident Evil franchise. It’s actually really good! (albeit VERY messed up!)

I also showed this movie to my mom (who is a horror movie fan) and she also liked it (even tho she laughed at the effects for the kills which baffles me cause the deaths in this film really scared me)

This movie really deserves some more recognition considering it has a special place in pop culture history for inspiring the creation of the Resident Evil franchise from Capcom

Retro game series I really want to see in Smash Bros. (I’m disappointed they aren’t in yet and not many ppl talk about it)

I feel like this franchise are MORE then deserved a spot in Smash. (Hopefully as fighters)

Since Persona is in Smash and is a spin off of Shin Megami Tensei which started as a novel (Digital Devil Story) are other novel series eligible for Smash Bros?

Can we see Harry Potter, Lord of The Rings or The Witcher appear in Smash Bros?

Remember when the Bubble Bobble Puzzle spin off games (Puzzle Bobble) were named “Bust A Move” in the west? I wonder if that’s a reference to the song of the same name by Young MC?

We all know how Japanese games got the “Americanized” treatment much like with Anime and Bubble Bobble puzzle games are unfortunately one of them. I realize that the international name for Puzzle Bobble is the same name as the Young MC song which came out in 1989 and the first Puzzle Bubble game came out in 1994. Is it a coincidence or is that an intentional reference? (BTW My mom listen to this song all the time)

What are Guilty Gear fans thoughts on Dragon Ball FighterZ? This game is what got me into Guilty Gear.

I understand FighterZ is by Arc System Works who is the company behind Guilty Gear, certain producers worked on both and apparently FighterZ was inspired by Guilty Gear with it’s visuals and presentation (they both definitely have resemblance visuals wise)

I’m curious. Did Guilty Gear Strive took inspiration from Fighterz? Considering how successful it was.

As I’m typing this I recently got Xrd Sign for my PS5 and still just learning the controls. (I’m not good as most fighting games unfortunately)

How would Smash fans feel if Wreck-It Ralph was in Smash Bros as an Disney rep after Sora? (If Sora returned)

Does Cartoon Network have any good video games? I love to be proven wrong. (That's one thing Nickelodeon has done better then Cartoon Network IMO) Enjoy these meme images I made by the way.

Overlooked franchises that (in my opinion) would break the internet if they actually got into Smash Bros.

(These franchises are possible but are definitely not likely as of right now)

Useless fun fact: Madagascar video game came out three days before the movie. Technically they can be in Smash Bros. (And that’s scary lol)

Useless Fun Fact: Jimmy Neutron, The Loud House and Team Umizoomi had video game before their respective media came out. So technically they can be in Smash Bros. (Read text for context)

Let me start of by saying that I’m well aware that these franchises are VERY unlikely to be in Smash Bros and I know some might counter me saying that they are “conceptually” cartoon characters (which is arguably true with Umizoomi and Loud House) But technicalities within the Smash Bros fandom is a fascinating topic that I want more outsider exposure.

I feel like Jimmy Neutron is the best example that actually works for this technicality since the GBA and PC game came out in November 2001 a whole month BEFORE his debut movie. Furthermore despite being piloted in the late 90’s he was originally piloted for a TV series and was originally named “Johnny Quesar” (I’m sure most ppl are aware of this already) but then Nickelodeon proposed a movie THEN a TV show soon after so knowing that the GBA and PC game was actually Jimmy Neutron very first media publication.

The last two examples aren’t as good since they had pilots years prior but Team Umizoomi and Loud House have had Browser flash games that came out roughly two months before their show’s premiered on Nickelodeon. (Team Umizoomi had three flash games centred on Bot, Milli and Geo. These were the very first Umizoomi games and were archived as far back as December 2009. Loud House had two flash games before the show most notably “Welcome to the Loud House” and a Loud House character quiz game. Flash browser games count as video games right?)

If a franchise from Midway Arcade world could join Super Smash Bros. Which one would you want? (Read text for context)

This post is actually a sequel to my previous post about Lego Dimensions characters joining Smash Bros. Aside from me making other posts I never got around to it cause I’m lazy.

The original post was solely focused on Lego Dimensions main roster and there was one omission that being the Midway franchises within the Midway Arcade level pack. Considering how Gamer Kid is the main representative and how none of the characters from the games in that universe are playable and are support NPC's (unless you count the Spy Hunter car) I decided to make a separate post dedicated to them. I guess you could argue Lego Dimensions had its own Gaming celebration within Midway considering how there are some fairly recognizable gaming franchises that come together in this one universe. (Some like Rampage is surprisingly still around with a movie)

So which Midway franchise from this level pack would you want in Smash Bros? (Excluding Gamer Kid)
