What is wrong with over-designed characters?

Someone made a post in a video game subreddit asking what some of the worst characters designs people have seen with this character attached. Idk who this is but I think their design fucking rules and I have never understood why people don’t like over-designed characters unless you like don’t like drawing them lol.

Whats up with the post time skip hate lately?

Note that I have been slacking very bad on reading manga and watching anime so don’t say anything about elbaph cause ai haven’t finished lol.

Recently like over the last couple months people have been shitting on one piece post time skip for being significantly worse than pre time skip and idk why. I never really find myself agreeing with their points or they over exaggerate it from what I have seen.

Why does my earfun case smell so good?

I open it and it has a similar addicting smell as sharpies and I was wondering if anyone knew why

Are you not supposed to do b sides until you finish the game?

I finished chapter 1 with all the strawberries and the cassette tape but there is this one part where I don’t seem to have enough stamina to actually beat it. Is there like a stamina upgrade I’m supposed to have or what?

Edit: skill issue resolved I have now done the first two chapter’s b sides

In mgr why is my blade not cutting armstrong’s debris?

I am lining up the slice with right stick and letting go of right stick but nothing happens and I die, whats going on? Its gotten to the point where I am almost every run making it almost halfway down his first health bar and then dying to the debris.

Edit: I have decided I will not be cutting his debris and going without heals all fight because the cutting is genuinely the worst designed part of the fight and is such a huge leap in difficulty that it is not worth risking a one shot for a small chance of actually making it through the cuts and getting heals

Earfun Air Pro 4’s having audio issues

My Earfun earbuds have started constantly having the audio cut in and out which is the exact problem my old shitty raycon earbuds had but at least then I was able to temporarily fix it after turning them off and on again. How do I fix this?

Why do people not consider mgr’s story that good?

Started replaying metal gear rising for fun and to take a break from elden ring (consort radahn a freak of nature) and honestly the story is a lot better and more engaging than I remember but I saw that even people who like the game at most think the story is just alright. I’m not saying it’s one of the best ever and to be fair this is the only metal gear game I have ever played (which is hilarious to me cause it’s one of if not the only one not made by kojima to my knowledge) so maybe the other metal gear games stories are just so good that the mgr story is like comparing your steak to gordan ramsey’s steak but I was wondering what the reasons for people thinking this are since I have no knowledge of most of the other metal gear games.

Deadlock heroes ranked by skill cause that other guy is crazy for putting viscous in D tier

I mostly tried to base around skill ceilings but the skill floor also played a part and I think I mostly got everyone correct but I could see arguments for moving some down or up a tier so I am gonna explain every placement

Also no hate to the other guy whose tier list I saw we all have different game experiences you just schizo and thats ok we all a little schizo

S Tier

Viscous - Being good with his puddle punches is super hard and a sign of a very talented player and having good ball movement is also pretty difficult imo

Sinclair - Has a strange skill shot that takes good prediction skills to land, smart usage of assistant can be hard without good practice, and even though I think it definitely needs a nerf his ult takes a lot of skill to use properly

Pocket - Cooldown management is the most important thing on this character and if you fuck up slightly with your cooldowns you explode but I could see an argument for moving him down a tier as his cloak is a very strong escape tool that can get him out of bad situations where he fucked up

Holiday - Could see an argument for moving her down a tier as well as her barrels are strong rn and are not insanely hard to use but I don’t think they’re brainless either and her jump pad is very hard to get good with and good Holiday jump pad movement is up there with Viscous puddle punch movement in terms of impressiveness imo, plus she also has two skill shots

Doorman - While it is pretty easy to play a spirit bell kidnap Doorman his doors have an insanely high skill ceiling so I believe this placement to be fair

A Tier

Calico - Looking at this tier list again I think I would move her down to B but she still takes good map awareness and ganking skill to play properly and while I hate fighting her I definitely believe she is a skillful hero despite her dumbass flying ethereal shift ult

Celeste - Source movement the character, knowing her rollouts and movement is core to be a great Celeste player and takes much practice to master

Silver - Much like pocket she takes good cooldown management to play well and can easily explode with poor positioning and cooldown usage especially after her nerfs but her werewolf form is a very strong ult that is not as skillful (but still needs good positioning and awareness of the current situation) so she is not S tier

Paradox - Could definitely see an argument for S but I don’t find her bombs and swap to be S tier skill though she still requires great skill to play well and not just spam echo shard bomb, particularly I find good wall placement and carbine shots to be skillful

Shiv - High level movement but can be brainless in tight spaces which holds him back from S

Yamato - Very easy to fuck up with her if you dive in at bad times and her play style is pretty particular so there isn’t really any brainless builds or play styles with her, honestly now that I think about it she could be S but I think her ult is not quite S tier skill level and is what holds her back in A

B Tier

Dynamo - Good positioning required for him and good knowledge of when to black hole and while it is not the hardest ability his quantum entanglement does take a good amount of item and hero ability knowledge to use properly and his big fat bulbous hitbox can get him killed quickly if he is silenced or cursed (or positioned poorly), what holds him back in B tier is that none of his kit is super difficult but rather mostly a knowledge check of “are you using this at the right time?” and his stomp is extremely easy to use plus having built in aoe heals is very nice and easy to use

The Lash - Certainly good movement needed but I don’t think any of his abilities are particularly hard to use plus I don’t think his movement is as skillful or impressive as say celeste or holiday, I have like 3 games on The Lash so I could be wrong about this so do let me know if I am

Mina - While she has a very strong escape tool it is extremely susceptible to slowing hex or any silence and her hp is very low so good positioning is needed for her and she can do some impressive movement with her hover, she is held back due to the her entire kit being fairly easy and simple to use but I firmly believe she still takes above average skill to succeed especially since I think she is actually a little on the weak side

McGinnis - I think people over exaggerate how easy McGinnis is, she is extremely slow with little stamina so you need really good positioning with her as if she gets caught out she doesn’t have many if any tools at all to defend herself close range as she is best at mid range, her wall also takes more skill than people think as it is easy to block out a teammate escaping or activating it too slow to catch an escaping enemy, the rest of her kit is easy to use but I think the level of positioning needed to not die to literally anyone even decent at close range and the skill with her walls lands her nicely in B

Mo and Krill - While obnoxious to fight I do think the level of skill needed in managing and knowing when to use his cooldowns is enough to put him in B

Mirage - Having great map knowledge and awareness to utilize his ult to the max is enough of a skill to land him in B tier even if the rest of his kit is pretty easy (even the skillshot of the scarab is easy, might be the easiest skillshot in the game or at least one of the easiest)

Ivy - Stunning at the right time to secure kills for your team or using the gargoyle form to dodge abilities and items along with ulting at the right times to fly to people who need help or saving teammates with it without getting shot before hand is enough skill that I think she lands in B even if I fucking despise it when she saves people and it feels extremely skill-less to me I can recognize that it does take some real skill

C Tier (gonna try to make these quick lol)

Abrams - basically soldier 76 for deadlock, his entire kit is very simple and straightforward

Apollo - easy to land abilities and strong early but can require more of a B tier skill late game as he falls off hard

Bebop - only semi challenging thing in his kit is landing hooks but with some practice you should be able to land them consistently

Billy - wait for them to parry them explode them, especially after the bashdown damage buff I think Billy is firmly C tier skill

Talon - skillshot is easy and you can just spam owls basically off cooldown

Vyper - just slide and shoot, hitting good bolas also is not terribly hard but can certainly be impressive in some scenarios

Venator - only challenging thing in his kit is the skillshot ult but it is not too bad and the rest of his kit is very easy and very good

Rem - just be careful when going for their sinners and you’re golden

Kelvin - His grenades and ice beam are easy to hit and use, ice path is a pretty good escape tool, and his ult is very strong and easy to use either to kill someone or defend objectives

Drifter - gun is piss easy to hit people with and the only semi skillful thing in his kit like with others here is his 2 being a skillshot, ult also gets lots of value just from pressing a button

Seven - nothing hard in his kit and he farms extremely well

Paige - Just chuck horses at team fights for great value and her stun is pretty simple to hit people with (rest of kit also very easy)

Warden - Spam flask and shoot plus cage silence

Wraith - easy to use escape tool and ult plus cards and full auto are pretty simple although hitting some cards can be a little hard

Vindicta - Just fly and shoot and buy counter spell so you can’t be knocked down without them having to buy phantom strike and snipe is not too hard to hit

Geist - lots of sustain and dmg amp spam = simple to play

D tier

Graves - auto lock primary, auto lock skulls, ghoul on stun, tombstone gives insane lane pressure for pressing a single button, pretty self explanatory

Haze - just curse and ult someone and they fucking die, genuinely more brainless than Graves and I will die on that hill

Infernus - Very good and easy escape tool and lots of dmg with his burn and a super simple ult

Victor - run at walkers and they die

Note that this list is not ordered within the tiers (like I did not intentionally place Dynamo above The Lash). Only change I think I would make looking at this list again is move Calico to B

Edit: Kril gets moved to c tier

I hate people who comment “so tired of seeing these posts”

Usually it’s when people are doing about me’s or tier lists and I just gotta say can you shut the fuck up? Let people have fun like if you don’t like the post then scroll and move on and let me enjoy reading people’s tier lists and about me video games or anything else. It’s also annoying when they comment that on a post where someone is asking about something. Either answer the fucking question or don’t bother commenting.

what are people's least favorite enemies to fight?

I just encountered these obnoxious decay carcasses at the krat central tram station underground and they might be the worst enemy in the game so far. It's the ones with the big decay arm that just sits at a mid range distance that is too far to hit with my greatsword and spews decay all over you. This is the only enemy in the game that I have actively avoided fighting and it got me curious what other enemies people hate to fight in this game.

Tips on using greatswords effectively?

I have been building motivity and have a blade with a handle that is faster than a greatsword and just bought the frozen feast weapon from alidoro and tried using it on some enemies but it is just way too fucking slow. Is there anyway to speed this up? Is it better used for bosses? I'm gonna be really sad if it turns out I can't really use this weapon effectively since the amulet I could have gotten instead was a good one.

Is the king of puppets intro that one funny clip?

I recall this silly clip where a guy is booing what I believe was the puppet clapping and then the king of puppets dropped down and he was completely silent. That was the king of puppets intro correct? And if anyone knows what I am talking about can you send me the clip.

how long does it usually take people to get to the big ass monster boss?

I am talking about the Fallen Archbishop and was wondering how long it usually takes people to get to him and then beat him as it feels like I am flying through the game (although I am having a great time).

When an elevator reaches it's destination and it makes this like clicking sound did that make anyone else think someone was opening their door irl?

I might just be a schizo but when I use the elevators in this game when the doors open up it makes this sound that sounds exactly like someone is jiggling my door handle in my room trying to get in as if it was locked or something and it scared the fuck out of me until I realized it was coming from the game. It still honestly sounds like it is coming from my door handle.

Why does Fuoco's fire attack cover so much area?

If you don't get lucky where he does it far away from you or you are able to react frame fucking one you just get overheated. Way to ruin a perfectly good boss with this bullshit. If there's something I am missing please let me know because this attack gets me every single time except the first time he does it when transitioning to phase 2 cause it takes him longer to do it

Are there any bad runbacks in this game?

Just started playing today and just beat the Watchman and it's been really fun so far and was just curious of if there are any particularly bad runbacks in this game?
