Oferta A:
Due to plentyfull automation techs... I barelly need anyone at all!
I have hundreds of jobless colonists doing jack shit.
Is there job that I can dump them in mass? Something that I can spam?
Large park takes 1 big triangle and gives 40 slots.
In that same triangle you can fit 3 lakes and 1 small park for 65 slots...
Or 3 medium parks and 1 small park for 50 slots
If you go Cloning accession you need to dedicate 5 building slots per planet to fully utilize the ascension.
You need the Genomics Facility + Genetic Clinic (+15% job efficiency each) and 3 cloning Vats to fully utilize the pop growth buff.
Just those 5 builds fully utilize the urban slots from your planets, and you don't want to sacrifice your 6 specialist slots on the districts that could be labs, or refineries or unique planet buildings.
A simple solution is to turn the growth vats into a tiered building. Only cloning ascension allows you to upgrade it to tier 3. Thus freeing you 2 building slots.
I finished the game and I have no idea wtf is going on.
In the beginning I was getting it. This is some legally distinct SCP facility (Gate Cascade) that captures and researches anomalies.
At some point something happens and the anomalies get lose. Specifically the Exor that are some kind of multi verse bio engineered invaders that spread like a plague.
We want to escape the facility, but in Bioshock fashion, the way out is always blocked by some bs we need to solve.
There's this Order faction that wants to kill all anomalies and scientists to save the planet from our reckless excitements.
So far so good. Pretty much the plot of Half Life 1. I think I got it.
Then it gets complicated. There's this other faction, Gatekeepers, that used to work for Gate? The are kinda aggressive but sometimes not? They want to harness the power of the multiverse I think?
Why?
There's this witch looking lady that shows up from time to time and speaks in riddles and I have no idea what she is on about.
What's up with that?
They want to spawn this huge entity that I have no idea what is, what it wants or why they want it inside. It can't be that they worship it because the witch lady that seems to be the leader of the Gatekeepers kinda helps me around until the very end when I get teleported to a random island to kill the thing.
What?
I don't like how I'm limited to 10 imports. One aspect that I enjoyed from 4 was economical specialization.
You could do just Tourism and import what you needed. You could focus on what your island was good at depending on the climate, fertility rates and even proximity to the USA.
Tropico 5 and 6 forces you to produce everything because you are hard capped on how many goods you can import.
I was unemployed for a few months after my last company got bought by a another company and my department was sacked.
My dad then hooked me up with a new job, by asking his friends around. Thing is, the opening will only be clear for me to start in December, so it's a lot of waiting until then.
Well, my dad lost his job this month due to layoffs. I told him I could pay his house bills with my pay until he gets a new job, I figure it's the least I could do... Right?
No! He got mad saying that I "Owned him for the job" and he can't live without disposable income. So he told me to either call the company and tell them I won't take the job or he will do it himself and get the job for himself.
Welp, I refused thinking there was an ounce of humanity in my father. He indeed called his friend, made me lose the job opportunity and got hired in my place. He starts in December.
Never read any of the books, only know about the show.
At first we are lead to believe the world is fine. Then we find out the world is fucked and the air is indeed poison.
In season 2 whoever, two things bugger me. First, the revolutionaries from the other silo all die when they reach the surface but we don't see them coughing hard, they just march to the stairs flag in hand and are cut to them all dead. Second, Juliet goes inside the silo but no poison gets in, that felt like a plot hole to me... Until...
Season 3 comes and we see all the procedures they go through to prevent poison air from getting inside along with Juliet and Bernard. Masks, suits to move bodies, burning, etc etc. We also see 2 people going into the other silo with no safety problems with poison contamination, Lucas suit gets pierced and no poison gets in...
In the past plot they never talk about poison, only about the gray goo. We only hear about poison in the context of the safeguard weapon.
This makes me believe that the earth atmosphere is indeed breathable. The poison is being constantly pumped into the surroundings of the silo entrances to make the people inside believe the world outside is dangerous.
There's probably two poison pipes coming from the main poison pipe, like a T junction. One poison pipe goes into the silo and the other goes to the surrounding. The revolutionaries blocked the one that leads into the silo but not the one that sprinkles it outside. This is what the AI means by "The safeguard is unstoppable"
Tl;dr: Earth air is fine and breathable. There's poison being pumped in the proximity of the silos.
Industrial goods are cheaper than the sum of their inputs.
It's cheaper to export raw goods and import finished goods than the other way around.
Why?
I tried to do a Vassal maxxing nomad run and it was miserable.
After 5 vassals (only minor taxes on resources) with expansion permitted, me joining their wars (they dont have to join mine), expansion permited and restricted voting and 1 holding (the garrison one for more loyalty) they ALL hated me. Loyalty was in the gutter constantly.
This wasant all that bad, because at worse I would have to fight a few wars here and there. Thats fine and expected.
What made me mad was the CONSTANT planet revolts happening in my vassal borders. When a planet revolt happens and they fail the situation thing, no war happens. They just loose their planets to the revolt and now my vassal is diminished and I cant help at all. Worse is when this happens at their capital and I lose the holding.
I wish there was a way to feed my vassals with conquest. This way I could have 1 vassal that I just keep feeding new territory. Easier to manage.
