The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has alleged that a coaching centre owner from Maharashtra's Latur paid Rs 5 lakh to obtain leaked chemistry questions before the NEET-UG 2026 examination.

According to the agency, Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar, who runs a coaching centre in Latur, allegedly paid the money to P V Kulkarni, a member of the National Testing Agency's (NTA) panel that prepared chemistry questions for the medical entrance exam.
