It’s why he chooses his overly complicated and decades long “finding the Papyrus and destroy everything with the Solego’s circuit” plan, since he probably could got and came up with a simpler and possibly effective plan.

This also makes Isabella a interesting foil to Scrooge, Della and Mrs beakley.
