Is this song a love letter to TBDM, a ripoff, or incredibly coincidental?
I heard riffs that sounded like the intro to Funeral Thirst, the main riff in The Blackest Incarnation, and the intro of What a Horrible Night to have a curse. Timestamps:
0:53: Funeral Thirst
1:00 and 3:20: The Blackest Incarnation
4:26: Curse
All of those albums came out before the one the song is on

Has anyone put Nordstrand (Dingwall) pickups in a different bass?
I’m looking at putting in Nordstrand pickups into my Ibanez EHB1000 as an alternative to investing in a $3k+ instrument. I would be swapping out Bartolini BH2 for Poly Vox or Big Single. I ask because the pickup description says these are designed for fan frets and my bass is a regular layout.
Edit: I accidentally found a video demoing Nordwalls on the same-ish model I have. Question over.
