I’m not sure on an exact timeframe year wise outside of late 90s early 2000s

My mother worked in the jewelry department of the Sears at Fair Oaks Mall, and she loved her job there. However, the manager said for her after a while to move down to Manassas because at the time, Sears was moving to a new pad, and my mom helped set up that store and was there on opening day. After that, she left the company and went to Khols.

This is a semi follow up to my last post on the matter, a friend of mine on Discord ended up going to Hot Topic and they had parts of the display not at where I saw mine, so enjoy, photos credit to him!

Added context here, my mother went to Disney World in 1989, and this is some of the stuff her parents kept. Enjoy, and let me know what your favorite stuff is in here. Sadly she can’t remember much from the trip so I don’t know what rides she totally went on, outside of the postcards maybe being a help.

Figured I’d share this after D23 yesterday, this was something my mom got on her trip in 1989, it’s really cool in my opinion

I will say, very smart of them to drywall the entrance, although I feel the space could’ve been subdivided like Fair Oaks, but currently Eddie Scumbag Lampert owns the building still, no one has bought it off of him. Oddly Spirit won’t move in this year from what the lady at Spencer’s told me, but oh well. I have a lot of memories here so, it’s sad it’s been gone for 6 years but that’s what happens

Wow compared to my usual it certainly was very different. Not huge on the register being in the side of the store and it just felt very cluttered, was bright though. Also yes, they do have working green neon in the back of the store (I glanced at it I didn’t walk back to that area), it’s awesome

My local mall, these photos stretch from December of last year, to today. Despite the handful of vacancies and its small size. the mall is still healthy in my opinion

Did better later in the day today, new art installations have been placed and a new store selling foreign snacks has opened! (I like how since it’s across from Candy World, they semi compliment each other). Not all good news however as 2 restaurants have closed since last time. Hope everyone here enjoys a tax free weekend too!

It’s my moms favorite Disney movie so, she has some pretty cool stuff imo and I hope y’all enjoy it

Yes they still exist. This store specifically is in my local mall, and is not closing, at least rn, they’re doing a light interior remodel which will probably half the DVDs and move stuff in the back to the front, enjoy these taken today 8/4/26
