Fourth quarter is upon us starting tomorrow. The Amex HH Aspire has that nice $50 quarterly airline credit that works with just about anything charged by an airline.

If you don’t have a flight planned you can buy a gift card from some airlines.

I can personally say that AA, AS (though it appears Alaska/Hawaii airlines gift cards are unavailable at the moment), WN, and United Travel Bank will work.

Delta does not work since their cards are sold via a third party at checkout.

This is an easy credit to burn and isn’t really restricted like the Amex Platinums credit which is intended for incidentals.

Please share your experience in the comments about any other airlines that have worked.

IC Miami was actually fantastic!

At check in, we were given two drink vouchers and 600 points. Our booking included club lounge access so breakfast was included anyway.

Room was very nice with a great view towards the cruise ports. A nice note and chocolate covered strawberries were waiting for my wife.

Breakfast in the lounge the next morning was really good. Plenty of options including pastries, hot items, and cereals. Many wines and beers were available along with sodas and water.

They gave us a $75 F&B credit (see my previous post about that - https://www.reddit.com/r/ihghotelsresorts/s/ViF40F542e) so we ordered room service shortly after arrival. The food was delicious and we easily burned that credit.

Looking forward to another night later this week after our cruise.

Farmers Dog 5,000 for $17 first box cost - used virtual card and deleted so no further charges.

This is interesting.

The Amex SLH (small luxury hotels) offer $100 back on $300 was triggered when I booked through the Hilton app.

Did the 10,800 miles offer for Boost Mobile. Paid $10 + tax for the first month with BYOD and an eSIM.

I did this one last year too, and simply canceled prior to the second bill.

Unfortunately it wasn’t on any of my Hilton cards but still a good offer regardless.

These seem to be coming around pretty frequently so keep an eye out.

My Cap 1 offers portal is loaded with “spend x get x miles” offers this morning, including several in store ones. Most appear to be spend $20 get 1,000 miles but there are some variations of other amounts too.

This is one of my favorites that I’ve taken advantage of so many times I can’t count.

Not because I (or my dog) like the product, but because it’s a money maker deal.

Farmers Dog is showing 6,500 miles or $65 cash back on my offers. I’ve seen it even higher too.

During the quiz, make sure to input the smallest breed dog (I use Chihuahua) you can get the initial box for about $20. That makes this a $45 money maker deal.

I always just use a virtual card and the hide my email feature on my iPhone during sign up so I don’t have to worry about cancelling the subscription after.

May be worth checking to see if your account is targeted.

This one actually has me somewhat interested.

I’m an avid Virgin Voyages cruiser and they have some cruises in 2027 available for 160k and up (prices are per cabin/2 sailors).

I found one that I’m interested in April 2027 for 185k.

I currently have about 92k in my Virgin Red account so is only need to transfer 47k to cover it.

I just ordered the only three things available on the menu. Used up my $20 credit. Hopefully this one gets delivered (and is cold).
