I just bought an AMD BC-250 board off AliExpress. I mostly game on Windows, so I honestly don't know much about Linux, but I'm planning to set it up with Bazzite since I know Windows drivers are non-existent for the GPU side of this hardware.

Since I'm completely new to Linux and this specific APU setup, I'm trying to figure out how games behave here before I finish building it. Specifically, has anyone had success installing and running large repacks (like FitGirl or voice38) or handling DRM/Denuvo offline activation tokens on the BC-250?

Do the installation times for big repacks take forever on this board's GDDR6 setup under Bazzite? Also, do system or system driver updates end up breaking the hardware fingerprints for offline-activated games?

Would love to hear any tips or experiences from people already gaming on this board. Thanks!

Since I'm completely new to Linux and this specific hardware, I'm trying to figure out how things behave here. Specifically, has anyone had success installing and running large repacks (like those from FitGirl Repacks or voice38) as well as handling Denuvo/DRM offline activation tokens on the BC-250? Do installation times take a long time, and do system updates break hardware fingerprints for offline-activated games?

Thanks to someone on here mentioning 3D printing, I realized my local library offers 3D printing, so I’m thinking about getting a case printed for my BC-250 instead of buying one.

Their pricing is $1 per printed model + $0.05 per gram of plastic. They also have a maximum print size of 28 × 26 × 24 cm.

For people who have printed one of the BC-250 cases before, roughly how many grams of filament do they use? And are the cases normally split into multiple pieces because of the design, or would the whole case fit within those size limits?

Also, is it okay to just run it without a case at first while I figure things out? And are there mini ATX cases I could just buy instead of printing one?

Also, I just bought a BC-250 board from AliExpress for about $147. 😅 Still waiting for it to arrive, so I’m trying to figure out the rest of the build now.

If anyone has recommendations for a good case STL that would be easy/cheap to print, I’d appreciate it!

That opening with “New Noise” by Refused is absolutely insane. Every time that song hits, it gives me this weird burst of motivation like, “Yep, I can conquer the world today.” 🤣 I don’t even know how to explain it, but it just makes me want to get up and do something.

One thing I’ve always wondered, though: what’s the deal with the bear in the opening? 🐻 Was that a real bear, CGI, or AI? And what’s the symbolism supposed to be? Is it just Carmy’s recurring nightmare or anxiety made into something physical, or am I missing a deeper meaning?

Also, did Jeremy Allen White actually film those scenes anywhere near a real bear, or was it all done with visual effects?
