Best phone camera settings to record concerts

My partner likes to do this a lot. I am someone who really just doesn't comprehend this because I'd rather watch the concert myself in front of me than watching it in my phone months or years later. But I care about her a lot and want to help her out.

Her issue is she thinks it's always her phone that decides if her videos to record are shitty or not. Then she ends up getting a new phone every 2 years because of this. I just think it's her settings but correct me if I'm wrong.

She uses an Samsung S24 Ultra which is already a powerhouse of a phone which again makes me think you just have to adjust the settings correctly to accomodate for concert conditions and the zoom is already pretty good. She doesn't sit on the best seats but she got the S24 Ultra to watch concerts by zooming in and recording them.

What would be your advice on how to maximize settings or other advice that would bring out the best of her phone? She read somewhere to not record videos using the video option but instead to hold the middle button while taking a photo so that it "records" which is all just absurd to me having to do that.

Edit: She's from Ukraine and they don't get a lot of concerts there for a lot of reasons. She just wants to get memories of the concerts she attended just in case she has to go back.

JLab GO Pods ANC stopped working and wouldn't charge now

My right earbud just stopped working. It wouldn't charge too at all. It does light up when it's in the charging case. I don't know what to do I already did a factory reset as well

[REQUEST] Sports Mobile Games

For some reason I ended up just playing a lot of Sports Games on my phone. I used to be a huge fan of Management Games like Kairosoft and then I fell into the Balatro Black Hole.

Lately I've been rotating the same games. Soccer Champs for Soccer and Hoop Land for Basketball. Do you have other Sports Games that you like? Just looking for games that are fun. I will pay for games if they are fun. I paid the Premium Version of Hoop Land after a couple hours only because it was that enjoyable.

Bonus if there are good Baseball or even Hockey games out there that does not involve opening packs for players. I did that with Madden back then and never again

Financial Advisor alternate career options/paths

I've been a Financial Advisor the past 5 years. All the job has been has just been growing the book because that's how we're measured. Building relationships, finding clients, franchising them, and repeat.

I don't know what type of satisfaction to find in this career. What other jobs, fields, careers can I move to?

Is it just gonna be sales for the rest of my life unless I go to school for it?

Co-op adventure games for 2 people

Me and my partner are dealing with life's struggles lately especially after going through some unsuccessful family planning that really took a lot out of her.

One of the things we enjoyed together was playing Switch games like It Takes Two and the Cat Quest series.

We were hoping to get similar games or just games that are fun and help make us feel joy. She is even a huge fan of Silk Song when she plays single player.

We only have Switch 1 so thank you for the recommendations in advance

Birthday Celebration in Montreal

I just got off a bad breakup and still grieving after my father passed away. I haven't been dealing with it as good so I was hoping to ask for some proper recommendations on where to have a good meal.

Last time I was there the ones I liked were Patty Slaps, Ma Poule Mouillee, and Cafe Olimpico for coffee. Didn't like the Time Out Market because everything seemed overpriced.

I haven't been taking care of myself as well so I want to start by doing a quick refresher in Montreal. Hoping for some good places please. Nothing too expensive too please.

More than 1 youth player acquired not working anymore?

So I thought having a player retire on your team and also having one free roster spot will give you 2 youth players in the off-season but I guess that doesn't work anymore? I'm trying to improve a national team so I gotta get more players from the academy

Will the game let you work on getting promoted if your team got relegated?

Or would I just get fired?

Would be an exciting idea though if I can recover from relegation working my way back to the Premier League

Saturday Night in Newmarket

I'm a little new in town and I'm wondering what people do in the evening and nights? I'm open to anything. Is there a restaurant you guys fancy to have a proper dinner? Cafe? Bar? Activities?

I started my day a little late and woke up quite late after a long work shift yesterday and I'm just sort of starting my weekend. Hoping to get some recommendations. Thank you!

Exy Extra Stretch Jeans don't age as well?

EZY*

I got a pair a year ago because it was comfortable and it looked nice. Over time, the fit just looks awkward now. It's comfy, but I don't think I want to go out wearing them with how it looks. Any recommendations on how to fix this? Or even alternatives?

What's your go-to movie snack combo?

I just realized how boring my options are because I usually just get a hotdog and a soda because a hotdog is one of the least noisy snacks you can have at a cinema but I'm seeing people put candy in their popcorn which was quite interesting and I've never tried that before.

What's your pick? What do you usually snack on or eat while watching movies at the cinema?

How did you manage to focus learning french while working a demanding full time job?

I've been in Canada for 5 years now after being an international student. I understand that a lot of the country's blame is being directed at me and people like me because I'm a foreigner from Korea but I would very much like to stay because I really do like the culture and the people here.

I ended up getting a pretty good office job since 2023 and kept rising up ever since to a near managerial level. I struggled working in retail before but I was happy I was able to escape and get what's basically a white-collar job. It is just challenging to juggle my work responsibilities as well as having to learn french on the side.

I am trying to balance work because it is a little demanding where I stay until 6 or 7pm at the office and be home at 8-9pm depending on the commute. French Draw is my only shot. I have been studying it since I was a student but just on Duolingo and listening to some videos but I haven't been able to lock-in so to speak because of work and life. I know I should be studying 7 hours on weekends but I just end up being depressed in my bedroom being exhausted from the work week. My only form of self-care is food and Tuesday Cineplex Discounts.

How do you guys stay focused? How do you balance work and needing to learn French to stay?

How to earn respect at the office/industry without being an asshole or a douchebag?

Pretty much the title. I feel out of place because I like my job and I don't feel like I need to exploit people or take advantage of them to earn business.

I'm just disliked at the office because I'm a bit earnest. I feel like it's my autism that makes me misunderstand jokes and social situations. But I believe in my ability and that I'm good at what I do.

That said, I also understand networking is essential in this job. I can be good by myself but knowing people and being liked is important. So far I've just been surrounded by people who are more high school jock type of people or frat bro/sorrority girl types. Quite two-faced too. Especially those who find business through people like me.

I can't be like them. So far atleast. I have internal feelings of disgust if I have to be an asshole. How do I meet it halfway? Do I also make fun of them? Banter?

Do you even find good prospects by scouting anywhere else besides Europe?

I just feel like I got the hang of things by scouting mainly just in europe because I rarely find any good ones. Sometimes in Asia but Europe is always the best place to find talent.

Is there a way to boost the quality of prospects in other parts of the world? I rarely find good players when I scout directly in South America and if I do find good ones it's because I scouted in Europe. Probably an academy prospect.

First haul for a mid 30s adult who just started reading proper books and needs recommendations

I just finished reading a short book by Ernest Hemingway called Old Man and the Sea. It was great. I felt every detail as if I was there with him. I get why it would be boring but man that's just life.

Forgive me, I'm just a guy who grew up never reading books unless required to at school. Just played sports, watched a lot of tv, movies, and played video games. Slowly trying to turn a new leaf and improve myself.

Any thoughts on these choices so far? I'm still new to this. I'm also a little shocked with how expensive books are. Recommendations would be much appreciated too. Hopefully not ones with a tv or movie adaptation because most likely I watched them already. Any genre would be fine
