When I feel like gambling I play GGS ranked because if I win a match is 100% dictated by me accidentally inputting reversal (I cant input for shit when I actually want to)

Yes, I am so bad that I cant input half the moves in action

See that crouch slash at the 0:05 mark? That was me trying to input sword throw special

With how its designed you cannot convince me that it was ever supposed to actually determine strenght of characters and who beats who. Chainscaling is just an addition to proof of how nonsensical it is

2039 will allow very aggresive gameplay?

So first thing that really got my attention is how often player is opening fire in wide open, without bothering to crouch or make use of corners, especially in first image when stuck on the line, without moving around too much.

If I tried to pull the same thing in Exodus I would get instantly sniped, playing without making use of covers and baiting enemies into exposing themselfs is essentially an instant death, but here it seems that game allows running up to enemies as long as you will play aggresivelly, also in last image enemy seemed to have intentionally bad aim so player wont die the second the are in their line of sight

Also mutants seem to have a harder time landing attack for you when you are closer to them, making it less essential to make sure to kill them before they get close

Honestly I wont mind game allowing aggresive gameplay, hell, I will like it even, also stealth is still going to be an option so if someone is not fond of it they dont have to do it

I seriously don't understand why people think this guy is harder than Rey Dau + Uth Duna

Is there a good reason for it? Other than most people starting with World and not realizing that they have better fundamentals now?

Edit: Thanks for all the responses that helped broaden my perspective!

So I finally watched the movie and it ruined Larping the Rooms for me

So there is a vocaloid song "Looping the rooms" that is about a child lost in backrooms (not Kane backrooms just backrooms in general) and it exists right

And then there is Larping Tombstone fanmade sequel to this song "Larping the Rooms" that is about this child few years later coming back to backrooms (in this song its Kane backrooms, you could say that LT retconned previous song)

And in this song Protagonist finds still life made not of her now, but of when she got lost in the backrooms few years ago.

Its very cool story and stuff, but watching the movie made me realize that it makes no sense because:

  1. This still life is like Pirate Clark huge monster that (as its implied) its not very friendly, but since still life reflects personality traits of person it copied, and she was just a lost child trying to find an exit, why would it create a aggresive monster and not a gremlin pointlessly running around?

  2. Still lifes are usually slightly, or little more, higher than the original, but the monster is OVER THREE TIMES BIGGER THAN THE CHILD. Its already HUUUGE for a still life copying an adult, but it copied a child so at best it should be size of the current protagonist!

So either protagonist should face, not very dangerous, running around gremlin, or copy of her current, traumatized self, that would make more sense to be bigger than her and aggresive

Im not criticizing Larping Tombstone cuz I really like the whole idea of finding monster of your past, but I wanted to point out huge incosistency with how it should operate

Im interested in buying the game but I noticed that it have big dlc so I wanted to know something about it before potential purchase

Is it a separate save like Ark/Doom dlcs? Or is it extension of base game that you get to after beating base game or midway or something like that

And if its separate experience is it base game but better or more base game but different?

Im considering buying the game but I see it got a lot of DLCs so I wanna know: Is base game good enough on its own?
