Season 2 episode 4…. Ramona, Luann & Bethenny were chatting as they prepared for a charity event. Ramona was giving (unsolicited) dating advice to Bethenny & said that Luann’s husband was twice her age to which Luanne was soooo appalled and upset. Imo this was in Luann’s most insufferable era like she was so hypersensitive over everything and took herself entirely too seriously. Alex did look hella old, until this scene i DID think he was twice her age!

What do yall make of this exchange? If i were Ramona, i would apologize for upsetting her but i wouldnt have stuck around for Lu’s little lecture afterwards…it was an honest mistake and 15 years IS a significant age gap! It’s not “twice as old” but his ass is older than you, girl cut the bs 😂!

PS: this era of housewives is so precious to me like the shade was so lighthearted. No allegations or trying to uncover ppl’s lives just good ole fashioned cattiness lol

I could write a dissertation on this but i’ll be brief: Felipe is literally just an ugly duckling/late bloomer that is trying to have an attempt at some form of “glory days” to catch up from being ugly his whole life. And im not calling him ugly! He literally introduced by saying he was an “uggo” most of his life….

He keeps saying his likes sleeping around, what he means is he likes finally getting the attention from women he’s been starved of. He’s constantly seeking that validation in rando women. Once he slept with beautiful Tori, the pursuit was over he proved to himself that he could get her & now he’s bored.

I feel bad for her she deserves better. I think she’s beautiful, smart and very well balanced

My 14m old doesn’t have any hard bottom shoes so he’s never walked outside. He walks inside all the time, but i want him to be able to walk around when we’re out & about, What are some recommendations on some good sneakers for him?

My bonus daughter is 5, almost 6. She is a brilliant girl, and has a tonsss of energy as most 5 year olds do lol. Her parent’s divorce settlement includes that any extracurricular activities the kids do, we pay for. And we’re happy to do it! Dad & I both grew up playing sports and doing other activities such as theater & chess club & believe strongly that they help build character & teaches lifelong skills.

Mom & bonus children live out of state, and we see them monthly but they only live with us during the summer. Since i grew up playing sports I fully recognize that the biggest commitment is not the money, it’s the time. The travel, the meetings, the practice… regardless of the activity she does we know that the majority of the commitment falls on her mom & we’re cognizant of that. So we’re looking into girl scouts. The only problem is that i have 0 exposure to girl scouts & before presenting it as an option for mom, we want to know what the time commitment looks like?

Does anyone have a child this age in girl scouts to give us some insight? I know in many youth sports leagues the parents HAVE TO rotate doing snacks and other things like that, and we just cant put that type of commitment on her mom. Shes in another state with not a lot of help and 2 children.

My bonus daughter really does need an outlet, particularly something that forces her to work with others towards a common goal, consider their ideas and feelings, and it would be awesome for her to see women in leadership positions because even at 5 years old she is truly a girl’s girl lol she loves feminine energy and being around women & girls. She’s an awesome kid but she has a few habits we want to nip in the bud and we feel that girl scouts checks off all the boxes from what we’ve researched.

These women as so corny, unfunny, and cringey!!!!!! Neither of them are interesting enough to have any segment of a television show that reflects or relies on their insight or opinions. They are sharing custody of one singular brain cell & it seems to have been on vacation last night??? The nerve of them to cry when talking about Melanie on some “ive been there before” shit and then losing alllll sense of empathy for Aniya??? Fuck out my face yall done pissed me tf offffff😭😭😭😭😭

EDIT: YALL I FIGURED SOMETHING OUT! I still think the hosts suck but also, i didnt watch aftersun for their opinions. I watched to see the interviews with the dumped islanders & i think THAT’S the problem with Aftersun. The entire format of the show is wrong. It shouldnt be a podcast that depends so heavily on the hosts opinions and perspectives. It should be more like Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen where the focus is 100% on the guest & the host is literally just facilitating conversation. They need to lean more into the interviews and do little games that reveal how the dumped islanders feel about their castmates and their experiences.

He wants her to yearn for the title, thats why he refuses to just say she’s his gf/ dating her. If being “exclusive” means you’re not seeing other ppl (which they have said they’re not) having sex (which they already are), going on dates (which they planned to do) and MEETING EACH OTHER’S FAMILIES (Which he said he wants her to meet his family) how is that NOT your girlfriend???

No one has been able to explain one thing that you gain in the “dating” phase that you dont get in this “exclusive” phase… what they’ve described as being exclusive is exactly what happens when you’re dating someone…. so what makes them different besides him controlling when she gets a title which he knows she wants?

Imo, once you start talking about cutting out other parties, you’re dating boo. Its not that hard
