Need help finding some groceries

I don't like to order niche groceries online-- I'd rather seek out a physical store. I'm prepping to make some medieval stew as per Max Miller's vids.

I need verjuice, hyssop, and mace. Where can I find these in SA?

Team Dresden v. 'modern myths'

Who else wants to see Dresden or those close to him take on supernatural characters/concepts invented in a more modern era? I'd be interested to see Butcher's take on the Slenderman or the Backrooms, and how Harry would throw down with them.

Should I have even less motivation when I just start bupropion?

I'm on wellbutrin SR 100mg per day, and my first dose was taken today at 11am. A few hours later, I noticed I pretty much don't feel like doing anything. Even writing posts like this or speaking even is difficult to complete. Thinking too hard about anything is just something I no longer feel like doing.

I also kinda feel like I'm 'outside,' like when I am doing something it feels like I'm instead only observing myself doing that thing.

Does this go away, or should I stop? I really don't like this.

How does mastering/copying holograms work?

How do you copy a hologram? Let's say from DCG to photopolymer, or even from photopolymer to another photopolymer.

Also, is it possible to make a reflection copy from a transmission master?

How are holograms of people and large things made?

I've seen a lot of holograms about now of people's faces, or even entire bodies, and in this video they even seem to have a shot of a few buildings!

How is it possible to:

  1. capture at such a scale when the plates are so small,
  2. capture such hard-to-keep-still subjects as living beings?

what is the CHEAPEST way to make 'real' holograms?

I've been in love with holograms for some time now and I'd really love to try making my own, but even the Litiholo kits are just so expensive, it feels like this kind of magic is just out of reach for folks like me. Is there some hacky solution to make my own films for a little cheaper or something?

Bigger wheel for the PXN V10 Ultra

Has anyone been able to mod a bigger wheel onto the PXN V10 Ultra wheelbase? I got one for cheap and I love the set but I think the wheel is too small. If possible, a 'real' steering wheel like one I just pull from a junkyard or something would be preem.

Hotseat multiplayer?

Is there some way to make it so multiple people can pass around the same headset to take turns running a course? I'd love this for indoors social gatherings.

ELI5 What exactly are Light-Field Displays and how do they differ from fly-eye lenticular displays?

I've been kinda interested in holograms or anything else where a 2D plane can make a 3D image. It seems light-field is all the rage now in that aspect, but anywhere that tries to showcase exactly how it works, fails to demonstrate what makes it different from just a lenticular image.

What is the exact display stack for LFD's, what makes them different from lenticular displays, and why can the VR ones simulate different focuses of light?

Are light-field displays remotely feasible performance-wise?

Regular stereo headsets just need 2 angles rendered at all times.

A light-field headset would potentially need like a hundred or something, no? Why the interest?

Is it possible to seed a game torrent without duplicating the files?

I like to seed whenever possible. However, most games are downloaded as compressed archives which need to be uncompressed in order to be played. These compressed files themselves are still pretty large though, so I don't want to just copy it to have the original zip to seed and also a playable version.

What can I do?

Where to download cool 8K VR videos, and how to play them? SteamVR

NOT PORN! Where can I go for a variety of downloadable 8K VR videos of interesting places, things, concepts, just stuff that I could put on the headset and go "wow"?

'Revived' P991 not completely revived-- what's going on?

So a while ago, I tried to raise the G2 too high and the monitor shut down and wouldnt turn back on.

I realized, I could get it back on if I held the picture-reset button while turning on the monitor.

However, I have to do this every time I turn it on, and the picture on it is still very very dim. Bri 62 is about where the entire picture becomes visible but that comes with washing out the colors, and 45-50-something is about as bright as I can get it while keeping "true black" and that makes half the things in any dimmer image just not visible.

now, I figure I've permanently damaged the G2 gun with my buffoonery and if it's not fixable then whatever, but I'm moreso just curious: what exactly is happening here?

will DLSS Swapper work on VRChat to get DLSS in VR?

I was watching an unrelated video and noticed that on this tool called DLSS Swapper, VRChat was auto-detected and it says "DLSS" down there in the corner of the thumbnail. Will this program get DLSS or any other kind of upscaling working for VRChat in VR?

How come my /etc/fstab isn't working in Debian 13?

The entire file looks like codeblock below right now. Even with this set up, I still have to manually mount my SMB drives whenever I restart my VM.

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# Use 'blkid' to print the universally unique identifier for a
# device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name devices
# that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5).
#
# systemd generates mount units based on this file, see systemd.mount(5).
# Please run 'systemctl daemon-reload' after making changes here.
#
# <file system> <mount point>   <type>  <options>       <dump>  <pass>
# / was on /dev/sda1 during installation
UUID=7d921843-4d9e-468f-81c3-15cee999dcf9 /               ext4    errors=remount-ro 0       1
# swap was on /dev/sda5 during installation
UUID=8d23d04f-3ef2-4f56-b372-d336dc79e261 none            swap    sw              0       0
/dev/sr0        /media/cdrom0   udf,iso9660 user,noauto     0       0
//192.168.50.50/share /mnt/truenas cifs credentials=/home/crimson/mountcred/.credentials,user,noauto

What can I change?
