Pressure on the Front Office from Ownership according to Windhorst
I had the Hoop Collective podcast on while getting some work done to listen to their opinion on the AJ v DP showdown. Near the end of the segment, Windhorst mentioned that there are serious expectations for the front office from ownership to "rebound quickly and contend for the playoffs this year". I'm not surprised that Ted is trying to get things moving quickly after 3 years of abject poverty basketball but where do you guys think we could realistically end up in the retooled East? I think that if our core guys stay healthy (AD especially) we should be in contention for anything from the 6-8 seed. I think on paper we're on par or better than the following teams: Miami, Milwaukee, Brooklyn, Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, and Orlando. I might even throw Detroit in that mix because I feel they've taken a step back compared to the rest of the conference.
