The arcade and Sega Genesis games were released in 1990.

Seemed like a simple concept, but when you're a kid...how cool was it to see your sandwich served in a container that split it in half?

And the McJordan (basically a QPC + bacon + BBQ sauce) was the absolute BEST burger from McDonald's!

I've played a few games on PS1 and PS2, and yet I find myself still firing up my ZSNES emulator to this very day. The assortment and quality of games - not to mention the obvious lack of microtransactions and DLC - make it all the more worthwhile to go back down memory lane over and over again.

This cereal was the combination of two popular Keebler cookie favorites: Fudge Shoppe Fudge Stripes and Chips Deluxe.

So many people on my dorm floor has this machine (or similar). Kinda hard to believe that we now have smartphones that are way more powerful than this. In addition to Blood, Doom and Quake; we also played emulators such as NESticle and ZSNES on these for endless hours.

Too bad this wasn't available in cherry...

For those of you who are too young to remember, this is what a McFlurry looked like from McDonald's. Seems like all the machines have been 'out-of-order' for so long, this photo seems more like an elusive relic of history.

Has anyone been to a McDonald's in the past few years where the McFlurry machine was actually working??

If you ever participated, how far did you get? And does anyone know of anyone who ever won one of these?

IMHO when people ask me about these newsgroups, I would tell them that it was a very, very early predecessor of reddit.

Personally never a fan of G1 Optimus Prime, but definitely wanted to pay homage to Peter Cullen nonetheless.

First movie I saw at a drive-in movie theater was The TransFormers (1986).

This was a television series created by HBO and the for-profit branch of the Children's Television Workshop (CTW). The series premiered on HBO in 1988 and ended the following year, lasting only one season.

This turned out REALLY well! Folks really seemed to like the flavor!
