Am i ruining plain water with what i add to it?

I'm trying to stay hydrated and drink 2L of water every day. But after a while it makes my throat sore, and frankly the taste makes it a struggle. So ive began adding something. Things i've added so far, per 2L bottle:

  • a pinch of non-sugar sweetener + a pinch of granulated lemon acid
  • a pinch of non-sugar sweetener + a few drops of food flavoring
  • About 200 ml of lemonade (which i make by brewing citrus peels and mint leafs + sweetener)

Is it still as good for me as plain water?

I can't rationalize why does it bug me, but there is an episode of Invincible where 3 characters got the same eye injury.

They are a family, separated, in a huge crisis, maybe this was some attempt at symbolism, but for some reason I got annoyed at this. The eyes draw my attention in an unpleasant way. They could have shown complicated family dynamics with um... *writing*

Should each book in the series starting from second, have an inbuilt recap of previous events and lore?

Example.

**book 1**: Evilcountry attacks Peaceland, after a long battle Evilcountry wins.

**Book 2**: Hero walks the streets of the capital of Peaceland, looking at ruined buildings, refugees and soldiers. Hero sighs. Ever since Evilcountrians invaded, peacelanders had known no peace. Hero looks at the South Gate. This is the place where LoveInterest surrendered and joined the enemy, and for that Hero hates Evilcountry even more.

I love those little endearing things about characters thinking

I love how in the first 2 or 3 books Mat, Rand and Perrin each would think that the other two have a way with women.

I love how Egwene, Nynaeve and Ilaine each thinks the other two are annoyingly stubborn.

And I love how men and women each regularly think that the other gender is hard to reason with and needs to be protected :) some might think it's sexist and outdated, but with how consistent this is, and how they simultaneously all care for each other, I find it cute. A cute lovely quirk.

What do you think? BTW, setting the spoiler tag for where I'm at, just in case.

[Invincible] Why did Amber got mad at Mark after cyborg attacks?

She reasonably got mad at him being late and making excuses. She figured out he was a superhero, so then she got mad at him not trusting her enough to tell who he is. In the university, when the cyborg attacked, she got mad and disgusted at him for cowardly running away from the scene, as she claims. But if at that point she'd already figured he's a sup, then she should have known he went superheroing and obviously not just chicken out. So why?

Could I be having herpes zoster for the second time in 9 days?

Afab, 36yo, 2 kids (aka regular stress and exhaustion) 164cm height, 80kg weight

Thursday June 11th I'm having burning sensations and extra sensitivity on my lower back&side&thigh. Friday, I get an itchy rush. Saturday, rush becomes painful. I schedule an appt with a dermatologist. Tuesday June 16th, I see a doctor, get diagnosed with herpes zoster, prescribed valaciclovir for 7 days, start taking it.

Saturday June 20th, 4 days of taking the medicine, I get similar burning sensation around my neck on the same side.

Could the virus be striking again while I'm still actively taking pills for it?

There are no available appointments in the nearest 2 weeks, I got that one so soon by sheer luck because someone canceled. If I get the rush on my neck, do I buy more pills and restart a 7 days count?

I also got cold on Thursday 18th if that matters...

It's late spring, +18°C (64.4°F), cool breeze blowing. You're in jeans, t-shirt and flannel. You're wearing sunscreen. Which bench do you sit on?
