The Old New York Of Port Authority Grain Terminal

Opened in 1922, it was built to revitalize the canal system in NYC but it ended up being a commercial failure and obsolete eventually closing down in the 1960’s. It’s still standing today..

Whatever happened with this building near the 125 St Metro north stop?

Always noticed it while riding MNRR somewhere and it has broken windows.. such a shame to see a beautiful place withered away
