Earth 668 Part 2a: "My rogues gallery? Yeah, sure, I guess I got one of those. Might take a bit to lay 'em all out, but consider this part one of three."

Earth 668 Part 2a: "My rogues gallery? Yeah, sure, I guess I got one of those. Might take a bit to lay 'em all out, but consider this part one of three."

"Doc Ock. Otto Octavius. A man ruled by his hubris. Our version of Doctor Octopus I feel is both worse and more tragic than most others I've been told about. Apparently the power core in his version of the arm harness is... different than what most used. It's mutated him over time, made him more angry, more arrogant, and also, unfortunately, more powerful. May tells me there's an element of it similar to the gamma power behind the Hulks, though different. More than once it's taken both of us and several allies to deal with him as he's grown in strength, especially when he fields another version of his Sinister Six."

"Electro is the second to wear that name. The first was Max Dillon, a long-time thorn in my side before he went straight. Went to work for the Fantastic Four, helping them explore realms only he could survive. The new Electro didn't pop up for some time. Shawna Sterling gained her powers as part of a group of troublemakers and outcasts who were granted them to fight May and I. Of them, she's been the most persistently dangerous, to the point that she may have actually killed Flint Marko, fusing all of his molecules in a way May tells me even he may not be able to come back from. She's a brutal mercenary and criminal, and if she has any redeeming qualities it might be that she doesn't tend to hold grudges. Ruthless and clever, she's proven to be a good team player in a number of criminal groups and enterprises, but her hot head thankfully means she can be goaded into losing her cool and making mistakes. Still, I doubt I'd be able to handle her half as well without May's own electronics prowess."

"Our version of the Green Goblin is a particularly devilish puppet master. It took much longer for me to learn who was behind the mask than it did for many others, in no small part because he's often sent copycats and other goblins at me, and later May and I. The Hobgoblin, the Grey Goblin, the Goblin Prince, the Night-Goblin... those are just a few of them, as well as many impersonators, all who tended to spiral downwards and burn out."

"Oh yeah, little detail I forgot to mention. Our Norman Osborn isn't the Goblin; he wasn't a nice guy, selling his son's soul and all, but the Goblin in our world turned out to be his business partner, a man known as a hero in other worlds, one Tony Stark. Near as I can figure, ours was corrupted by Osborn's influence, but also over-shadowed his partner, set him up so that for a long time we did think it was Norman in that armor, and eventually killed him. Norman died protecting his son, his final redeeming act, and the one that set Harry on the road to being a hero. And Stark continues to be one of our deadliest foes."

"I know I said Miles Warren died, and that's true, but I also mentioned his clones pop up every now and then. One of 'em got into a turf war with Calvin Zabo, Mr. Hyde, during phase when both were using their skills to peddle designer drugs to criminals, that would offer temporary powers. It was a nasty affair, and in the end it turned out neither of them was the real menace. No, those turned out to be Janet Waters and Anton Stevenson, a conniving pair who wormed their way close to the the newest Jackal clone and Zabo respectively, stoking the fires of their war until the two took each other out. Then they became the new Jackal and Hyde, using and refining the tech of their former bosses to make themselves a formidable pair of crooks. The Warren clones didn't stay gone, of course, they never do, and Zabo survived to haunt us another day, but these two are a far deadlier one-two punch than their predecessors."

"Imagine my surprise to learn in other universes, Mysterio's identity is a known thing. We've never figured it out here, or even what gender they are; we've long suspected Mysterio may be a woman, but their body type seems to change between encounters, like the true illusionist they are. Though we've often put a stop to their schemes, we've never managed to see what's under the fish bowl, and the few times they've been captured they've always managed to slip away."

"Who names themselves after a notorious nazi madman? The new Red Skull does. After the original died during his failed assassination of President Barnes, we thought we'd seen the last of that old alias. But then along comes the new guy. He's another merc for hire; body guard, bounty hunter, enforcer, you name it. We're pretty sure he's got some kinda power set, he's pretty strong and fast, but what really makes him dangerous is his skill with weapons and tools of all sorts and his mind; he never says anything, but he clearly understands strategy. We've yet to take the mask off him, but it's only a matter of time..."

Air-bathing: this is a classic example of air-bathing. CD, on the right, is actually bathing, while Maui, on the left, is responding to him bathing but not actually doing it himself. Often just seeing water, like their human washing dishes while on the shoulder, is enough to initiate this.
