Do you think Doma would believe ... is a god?

Do you think Doma would believe ... is a god?

Doma doesn't believe gods are real and thinks anyone who believes in them is an idiot.

But in Muzan's memories, it's obvious that Yoriichi was no ordinary human. Even Kokushibo goes so far as to call him a god.

If Doma were to see those memories, do you think he'd finally believe that Yoriichi might actually be a god?

Blue and Pink's relationship is more uncomfortable than I remembered

Unlike Yellow and White, who made it clear that they saw Pink as immature, Blue genuinely seemed to enjoy spending time with her. She laughed at Pink's silliness, like her pyrite jokes, and appeared to have fun with her. But at the end of the day, she was still a Diamond, and she imposed rules and punishments whenever Pink did something they considered unacceptable. It must have been incredibly painful for Pink to see that the sister who laughed and had fun with her could instantly become just as harsh as the others.

It's also heavily implied that Blue used her powers on Pink, such as forcing her to cry. Being hurt by someone you love is already terrible, but being forced to feel emotions you don't actually feel, and having your own body respond to another person's whims, is genuinely disturbing. Pink lost her physical autonomy at the hands of someone who claimed to love her while insisting that she deserved those punishments.

Blue has always made me more uncomfortable than Yellow, and now I understand why. Yellow is predictable. She never really expects much from Pink and openly treats her like a child. But Blue feels like the kind of person who genuinely enjoys your company and makes you believe she trusts you, only to suddenly turn against you. And somehow, that betrayal hurts even more.

Opinion: Adam and Lute were mutually toxic and enabled each other's worst behavior, not just Adam abusing Lute.

I love GuitarSpear, but I don't think the relationship is as one-sidedly toxic as some people make it out to be. Even if Adam was Lute's superior, I don't think the dynamic is nearly as one-sided as people claim.

We see Adam encouraging Lute's worst tendencies. He praises her sadism, even if he seems a little uncomfortable when she goes too far. He enjoys and supports her whenever she spews hatred toward the people he hates. He treats her as his companion, someone he spends time with without disrespecting her, and he gives her enough authority to discipline the Exorcists alongside him.

On top of that, Adam is the one who taught Lute that she could get away with openly expressing hatred toward demons.

Lute enables Adam as well. Whenever Adam starts being misogynistic, she never calls him out and instead lets him keep going. We know she could stop him, because she told him not to reveal the secret in public, and he listened rather than shutting her down. That suggests he trusted her enough to rein him in when necessary. She also supports Adam when he's treating Charlie horribly during their meeting. And, on top of that, she loves him, which undoubtedly influences the fact that she likes him the way he is.

I'm not saying this can't change in future seasons, or that we won't learn more about what their relationship was really like. But based on what we've seen so far, I don't think their dynamic is nearly as unbalanced as some people suggest.

Why do Cosmo and Wanda end up with so many godkids from Dimmsdale?

In 1970, they were Bill Gates's Fairy Godparents, and two years later they were assigned to Professor Crocker. Thirty years after that came Timmy, and then Chloe. They're all kids from Dimmsdale.

We know they've had godkids in other places too, like Marianne from Germany and the French boy, Pierre. But why do they seem to keep ending up in Dimmsdale so often?

If you were one of the campers in this challenge, at what point would you say, "That's enough!"?

For me, it'd be the moment the challenges involved getting attacked by wild animals. Sorry, but that $100,000 isn't worth ending up mauled by bears or eaten by sharks.

"Perfect Princess" is so catchy. I can't get it out of my head

I'm at work, and I still can't stop thinking about it. I've only listened to it twice, but I can't stop singing it in my head.

Then why is it considered valid to blame Pomni, Ragatha, Zooble, and the others for letting Jax abstract?

The circus wasn't responsible for watching Jax 24/7, yet people still blame them for not paying attention to him and letting him spiral into suicide. So why is he the only one who gets a pass for abandoning people at their lowest point?

Besides, Jax is partly responsible for their abstractions as well. He didn't just cut them off and act like he didn't like them anymore. He gaslit them, isolated Ribbit from the group while painting her as manipulative, called Kaufmo crazy when he became obsessed with finding the exit instead of supporting him, and generally made things worse.

So Jax did much more than simply distance himself and pretend nothing had happened.

In your experience, which character has the worst fans and the worst haters?

I'm speaking from personal experience here. I'm not saying all fans of these characters are like this, I'm just talking about what I've personally encountered.

For me, some of the worst fans belong to Sera. A minority of them have actually argued that the Exterminations didn't matter, that she wasn't responsible for them, that controlling Adam wasn't her job, and that she has no obligation to make amends to Hell for what she did.

I find that ironic because Sera herself acknowledges that turning her back on the Exterminations and burying her head in the sand was wrong, that Adam wasn't the only one to blame, and that she has to fix what she did so it never happens again. Being a fan of a character while believing the exact opposite of what that character ultimately stands for is incredible to me.

As for the worst haters, I'd say Stella's. My God, they can't tolerate anything that isn't criticism of Stella or portraying her as a terrible person. I've seen them complain about fan art of her in AUs, saying she's evil and awful, without letting people enjoy an alternate universe where she isn't. They also throw fits whenever someone asks for Stella to be more than just a one-dimensional evil harpy.

What about you? Which fandom's fans or haters have been the worst in your experience?

Even though it would be great for him to appear in the series, Michael would not help the show and would not be well received (Hazbin Hotel)

The idea of the archangels, and especially Michael, appearing in Hazbin Hotel is highly desired. I admit that I want it too. But thinking about it carefully, it wouldn’t be good for the series.

To begin with, we already have a very large cast that still needs development, and adding another character, especially one that generates such huge expectations, is not a good idea. No matter how Vivziepop handles him, someone will be dissatisfied with how Michael is portrayed. Whether he’s a depressed twink, a sadist who delights in the death of sinners, or a cinnamon roll, there will be controversy.

Related to this point is the fact that there is no role left that isn’t already occupied by an existing character. A bloodthirsty angel who revels in massacre? Adam. An angel who regrets their actions and is on a path to redemption? Sera. An angel who is losing their mind and has a high chance of falling? Lute. A cinnamon roll? Emily. An angel who still doesn’t have their path figured out? Abel, etc. And not even as an antagonist, since Vox will be the one who challenges Charlie on whether anyone can be redeemed, and there are many other antagonists who still need their time, like Alastor and Val. Michael doing any of those things would feel repetitive.

Then there’s the power scale, because yes, although it shouldn’t matter in the Hazbin Hotel universe, tt does. Michael is widely known in popular culture as the one who defeated Lucifer. Portraying that in the series is also problematic.

If he’s depicted as an all-powerful being capable of defeating anyone, the same questions will arise as always: Where was he when Vox threatened Heaven? What was he doing during the extermination? Why doesn’t he defeat the big bad of the moment? And if they do the opposite and make him weaker, the controversy will be about why they made him not powerful, that it’s a waste, blah blah blah. On top of that, the Hazbin Hotel fandom already deals with enough harassment from powerscalers to add this to the mix.

Finally, there’s the issue of time. So far, the seasons have been very short, with eight episodes, and the next three are likely to be the same length. There’s already a lot to cover (Angel’s family, Lilith, the Vees, Vox, Alastor, what’s happening in Heaven, what Lute is doing, Seviathan, etc.). Adding Michael is yet another thing that requires time, time the series hasn’t had so far. If the show doesn’t get longer, there’s a real chance his development would be rushed or nonexistent. There are simply too many things on the table to add another character.

Those are the negative points I’m clear on for now. Obviously, there are many positives, like seeing what his relationship with Charlie and Lucifer would be like, his role in Heaven, and so on. Those aspects are very interesting. But setting that aside, he would hurt the series more than help it.

In short, adding Michael to the series would be problematic because the cast is already too large, it creates power-scaling issues, and there isn’t enough time.

My headcanon is that even as an angel, Emily would be vegetarian

She wouldn’t tolerate eating meat because, to her, animals are friends, and you don’t eat your friends. Even if Heaven had a way of obtaining meat without harming animals, she still wouldn’t eat it.

Heaven is the one that should deal with Lute. Making her fall or exiling her would just turn her into Hell’s problem

Does she deserve punishment for everything she’s done? Yes! Not only did she enjoy the exterminations she carried out, but she also attacked her own soldiers for showing weakness or doubt, tried to blow up the entire Pride Ring for revenge, left Emily to die, wanted to reset them, despises Pentious despite his redemption, among many other sins. Lute is not innocent and deserves consequences for all she did.

But in my opinion, making her fall or exiling her to Hell is not a good idea.

First, it would be Heaven dumping the problem onto Hell.

They were the ones who encouraged and rewarded that behavior in her during the exterminations, who never condemned the hateful rhetoric she spewed, who allowed her to remain in a position of power despite being the least fit for it and being abusive. It’s their responsibility to deal with her. Yes, she chose to do these things, but she always did so with the comfort of knowing Heaven wouldn’t punish her.

Sending her to Hell would be Heaven distancing itself from the maniac they helped create, and on top of that, it would force her to live among her victims. That would send a terrible message and prove they learned nothing, that they just want the easy solution of ignoring the problem.

On top of that, Hell already has its own issues. They’re rebuilding after Vox’s attack, redemption has become more popular, and they still have to deal with power-hungry overlords. Adding a genocidal person who feels no remorse would be the final straw.

Second, redemption.

If Heaven is going to accept redemption, they have to accept it for everyone and start fostering it. Yes, Lute might refuse redemption, and that wouldn’t be Heaven’s fault, but if they cast her out without giving her a chance to change, or label her as irredeemable, that goes against the idea that everyone can try to change.

Especially since they feared the people of Hell, yet had individuals like Lute and Adam on their side, who could be worse than the sinners in Hell.

Third, it’s a purely punitive punishment that won’t teach her anything.

Sending her there without restrictions just gives her free rein to hurt and kill whoever she wants. She won’t learn anything that way, she’ll just unleash her anger and desire for revenge on everything around her.

And if they send her with restrictions like Lucifer’s, it would leave her vulnerable to those seeking revenge against the exorcists. Unable to defend herself, she would become a victim of who knows what, which would only reinforce her view that Hell is nothing but the worst of the worst. And since she isn’t as powerful as Lucifer, she wouldn’t be able to avoid revenge or hide.

That’s why I think Heaven needs to step up and deal with her properly. Not only is there no benefit in leaving her in Hell, but for Heaven, doing so would just be washing their hands of a problem because it’s too difficult and unpleasant to handle.

Besides, Hell is supposedly trying to rehabilitate the worst people from Earth. Having Heaven dump its worst people there too just makes it even worse.

Would Val be into NTR?

Considering how annoyed he was that Vox got obsessed with Alastor and started neglecting him, maybe cheating isn’t really his thing.

It’s no surprise Lute feels comfortable spewing hate in front of the Speaker. She learned from Adam that there are no consequences for it

When Adam threatened to kill Charlie in front of everyone during the trial, not only did no one say anything, but he also faced no consequences for it. Sera didn’t just fail to punish him, she allowed him to follow through on his threat and go after Charlie.

Lute then does the same thing, spewing hatred toward Pentious and sinners in front of the Speaker, only being stopped by Sera after she had already said whatever she wanted.

She learned that as long as it’s contempt toward demons and sinners, it’s acceptable because that kind of hateful behavior isn’t punished, only lightly reprimanded when it becomes disruptive.

Because Heaven, no matter how good it is, doesn’t make an effort to eliminate dehumanizing rhetoric toward sinners. Yes, seeing them as threats is completely valid, but they also allow contempt and hatred toward them just for existing, and they do nothing to stop it.

All of Jax's ships are terrible because they're always about what her partner can do for her, instead of being mutually beneficial.

Whether it's FunnyBunny, Ribbun, or Jax x Ribbit, they're all the same. People pair him with these girls hoping they'll be the ones to help Jax open up and fix his problems, but they never talk about what Jax would bring to the relationship or how he'd help his supposed partner.

It's always the same with Jax and his fans: he gets everything for free, while being expected to contribute nothing in return.

Gooseworx has become the trans version of J.K. Rowling

- She confirms which characters are part of the LGBTQ+ community on social media instead of in the actual canon, or tells people to go look for the "obvious clues" she supposedly left behind when they really aren't that obvious. In Rowling's case it was Dumbledore; in TADC, it's Jax.

  • A lot of the lore gets explained on social media instead of in the series itself, whether it's about the characters, the world, or the story.

  • She treats her fandom like they'll accept every random thing she says as if it were the absolute truth.

  • She wants people to interpret things only the way she intends, and doesn't like it when fans come up with their own interpretations, so she steps in to correct them.

  • They both have awful attitudes, and people defend them because they like their work. Though, to be fair to Gooseworx, J.K. Rowling is much worse, since she has real-world influence that can actually affect people's lives.
