Reccomendation of the day

Hi everyone, here are some of my favorite Alt-Rock albums from the 90s, in case anyone wants to listen to them. I hope you like them.

Recommendation of the day.

An incredible album by Ben Shepherd—Soundgarden's bassist—featuring the brilliant side project Hater; in my opinion, it is highly recommended WONDERFUL album.

My stupidest theory for the X-Men reboot plot.

Alright folks, honestly, I’m more excited about the X-Men reboot than about \*Doomsday\* itself. I feel like the cast is really great and talented. So, I was actually coming up with a theory: what if Hugh Jackman returns as "Old Logan" for the movie, only to get killed off—thereby paving the way for a new actor to take on the role of Logan?

Hey, it sounds ridiculous—and it probably is; I even say as much in the post title—so it’s not something to be taken seriously at all. Still, it strikes me how Hugh keeps insisting on returning as Logan. It would be interesting if Marvel decided to bring such a legendary run to an end in the new X-Men movie.

And by the way, for anyone reading this: I didn't write it using AI, lol. I just tweaked a few words using a translator since my main lenguage is spanish:).

Like i been see her everywere is she some kind of admin here or somenthing? Why is she commenting shit in every post not related to her main music tastes.

A subreddit full of pretentious people who think they're niche—give me a break, man; I'm just going to be honest about it people be calling Fleetwood Mac not mainstream😭🥀 are we deathass?.

Look, guys—go ahead and downvote me, talk shit, leave hate comments, whatever—but whenever there’s a post about even a remotely mainstream artist, there’s always that one guy in the comments acting special, saying "TikTok music," "too mainstream," or "trash" 🤮.

Apparently, unless you know some demo Roger Waters wrote while taking a shit in 1975, it’s not "underground" enough for people's tastes, for God's sake... Just let people listen to whatever the hell they want. I’m not just being salty, but that same crowd shows up on every single post—I mean, WTF? You aren't special just because you own a Daft Punk cassette from 1999 while they we're taking a shit or whatever; you just come off as a pretentious, bitter jerk because some girl is sharing her music taste or happens to like Dua Lipa and you wrote the same ass comment.

Games that, in my opinion, feature incredible lore driven by environmental storytelling—explaining things never explicitly mentioned in the main narrative.

1: GTA IV

Without a doubt, this game deserves the top spot; it’s an incredible title that truly belongs here. I found the emails from Niko’s mom—discussing his time in the army and his current situation—to be fascinating details. They aren't explored deeply in the base game, but—along with other emails and phone calls—it was a brilliant move by Rockstar to flesh out Niko’s backstory, even if many of us sometimes overlooked those parts.

2: Assassin’s Creed Black Flag

There’s no denying it: the Assassin’s Creed series went downhill when Ubisoft stopped writing stories with heart and interesting plots, turning into the terrible company they are today. But when it comes to compelling, fascinating lore, this game takes the crown for expanding the universe—and, God, I love Edward.

Number 3: Red Dead Saga

Love it or hate it, one thing is undeniable: the stories in both games are incredibly well-written. This includes details never mentioned in the main plot but found in dialogue-heavy missions or letters—details that truly matter and impact our character. These are games many people grew up with, and they understand the significance of experiencing them for the first time.

Number 4: Days Gone

So many people ("expert critics") ended up hating this beautiful game. It is undoubtedly incredible, and for me, a highlight is Skizzo—the villain (or one of the main villains)—who has a really interesting backstory. I won't spoil anything for those who haven't played it yet, lol—and that includes, of course, the NERO audio logs.

One last thing: NO, this wasn't written by AI. I used a translator because English isn't my native language; I write well in English, but I used the tool to correct any words I might have misspelled.

So, guys, do you think the same thing I do? Let me know what games come to mind—and sorry, of course, if I didn't include the Arkham games, Devil May Cry, or Resident Evil; everyone is free to share their own opinion.

Why FIFA modern games feel hollow and empty for me.

Hi everyone—good afternoon, good morning, or good evening, wherever you happen to be. I’ve recently been playing FC 24—honestly, just for the Player and Manager Career modes—but I’ve noticed something. Having played both FIFA 19 and PES 2016, I feel that—even though FIFA 19 was hated at the time and PES 2016 was largely ignored—those games had a certain authentic feel to them. I’ll get to that point in a moment.

In FIFA 19, we had the final chapter of Alex Hunter; there was established lore and a structured story that fans—and even non-fans—recognized. For many, it was the peak of the peak—my own childhood included. The career modes were brilliant back then; seeing Neymar newly arrived at Barça, or Cristiano at Juve alongside Dybala, felt magical. The gameplay didn't feel unrealistic, and the commentary didn't feel repetitive, hollow, or soul-crushingly annoying—the kind that makes you want to rip your ears off and stomp on them, which is how I feel listening to the commentary now. And well, I think PES 2016 is god-tier—one of the last true peaks for PES before it turned into what it is today.

Has FIFA gone downhill for me? Yes, and in terrible ways. The YouTubers who keep promoting FC—solely because of Ultimate Team—try to convince people it’s a perfect game (when it’s the same shit every year). Without a doubt, FC 27 will be another disappointment, likely giving us a career mode that’s even worse than the ones from previous years.

Do you think the FIFA soundtracks have gone downhill?

Hey everyone—basically, this is a topic that comes up a lot in the FIFA community, so please don't get mad if I'm bringing it up again (it's my first time here). Do any of you miss the days when FIFA introduced you to alternative artists, or do you prefer the music in the more modern games?
