Bir insanın mutlu olması topluma mı bağlıdır? Gövde metinde detaylandırıyorum.

Merhaba.

Hello. I’m a Turkish person who is a fan of Jainism. I wanted to explore the Sikh religion as well, but I couldn’t accept the idea of a God.

  1. How can a formless entity create something with form?
  2. Isn’t God, who wishes to create something, caught up in samsara?
  3. If God created the universe, the question of “Who created God?” goes on forever.

Sikhism is by far one of the most modern and well-organized religions, not only in India but throughout the world. I wanted to mention that as well.

Help me for Sanatana Dharma!

Hello. I’m a Turkish ex-Muslim. I have a huge interest in Indian religions. I especially love Jainism. But no matter how much I love it, I wonder if I’m thinking wrong and ask myself, “Is Hinduism the right one?” I just can’t bring myself to believe in Brahman and the gods. Actually, since Hinduism is more popular and much more diverse, it would be better if it were the right one. Because there are so many Hindus, and it’s a more diverse religion.

As I said, I’ve never been able to wrap my head around how the gods—or even Brahman itself—actually exist. What advice can you give me?

Jainizm and omnism-perennialism

Hello. Are omnism and perennialism—which argue that all religions contain a grain of truth—views that share common ground with Jainism?

How does Jainism approach the teachings of other religions?

Is Jainism universal? As a Turk, can I build a Jain family?

Hello. I am a Turk who generally loves and embraces Jainism. However, although Jainism is a universal religion, almost the entire community is Indian. Doesn't this make Jainism a local religion as a community?

I would like to move to India and even marry a Jain Indian woman. While this is theoretically possible, I don't think it's practically feasible. I've been thinking about this lately and it's making me very upset.

What is Anekantavada?

What exactly is the principle of anekantavada? Does it mean examining other teachings and appreciating their valid points? In practice, though, will we remain committed to Jainism?

Hello. Will Jainism limit my ability to explore other things and restrict my freedom? For example, if I become a Jain, I’d like to explore other teachings very thoroughly, at least in theory. Does Jainism restrict my freedom?

If I were to create content about the life of a Jain Śrāvaka, would it be successful?

There is an ancient Indian religion called Jainism that is virtually unknown in the West. I want to embrace this religion. Since there is almost no content available on it, what if I made videos that are both educational and about daily life? It’s fair to say this is a religion that’s virtually unknown in the West, and no one is producing any content about it. At the same time, interacting with people online would give me an extra boost of motivation.

Hello. As someone who is drawn to Jainism, can I explore other religions and teachings in accordance with the principle of anekantavada? Osho, Krishnamurti, Mooji, Paganism, Pantheism, Sadhguru, Eckhart Tolle... After all, there are truths to be found in other traditions as well. Can I draw inspiration from others while remaining committed to Jainism?
